I wonder if Hector's aware of that, or that the two Elite clans are completely unrelated.

Someone in the Elite clan told me earlier that Hector also received all the free IAP cars because he's a member. I didn't want to believe him, but it might be true.

That's why I hate the clans thing. Since when win a car means you can share it with your teammates? If they are able to do that I can't imagine what they can do outside of this. I don't think all the Elite members are cheaters, but some of them are well known cheaters, even on Windows. The group on Facebook is hilarious, they dickriding Elites just because of their videos and because be in it make people feel "above the others". Gameloft knows their game way on every platform? Disgusted.

Not a surprise at all. That's what Open, K-b, Summer, Sky and whatsoever have been doing for ages.
Unfortunately, Gameloft is still not targeting on that issue, after reported months ago.

Someone can link that discussion to Fabien or Ryan? I'm curious what they think about those well known players. The bad thing after all those people who agreed with them because they are famous and strong. I've reported many times about Windows Elite members behaviors and nothing changed. What happen it's well deserved then, they practically steal money from Gameloft and screwed who play the game honestly.

    :)

Really I don't know about that, I have just joined to Facebook group 3 days ago...

It is false. Someone offered me it, and I asked how it works. Then he said me that he had to enter in my account and load his data (or even I could enter with his data). Of course I didn't accept that, especially for 4 reasons:
1º - I really love Asphalt and I think that this method could cause a banned account problem.
2º - I have worked really hard to lose my data (Also I'm really happy with 72 of 75 cars, I don't need cars that I haven't won).
3º - I have a reputation, here and in my channel I always say all about me and my achievements. A lot of people know that I lost ME412, MC12 and Onyx...
And it isn't a problem, I use my channel to teach other people how get a good time, sharing my paths, that usually help a lot of people, I don't need to have all cars...
4º - And finally, sure I will never give my personal data to other persons, it would be stupid.

they are quotes because small is relative; if there is only one thousand racers (in one division) and ten hackers in the top spots, that's 1%. from what ive seen there are multi thousand racers, heck, ive been in 10s before. how many people are actually hacking, vs total number of players?
tracking each winner would imply a specific identifier, what exactly is that gonna be? every possible unique identifier can be manipulated on the phone before connecting to servers; its the reason why cracked/reloaded games work. car #a belongs to car winner A, any number of people can alter their phone to become car winner A, and thus use car #a. so GL does a sweep to check how many winner A, and car #a are online at the same time. GL finds multiple online and bans car #a, AND winner A. winner A changes his ID and continues playing as someone else and only loss is car #a. now, randomize the sweep so clan members can't organize against it, and then frequent enough to actually catch them online, then do it for every single winning car, over and over and over.

yeah, that's possible; but this is a free to play game; extensive resources to catch hackers wont just happen as often as players would like. and that's not saying it doesnt already happen!!! certain popular hacker IGNs who we see on the lists, whos to say they dont change name and keep hacking, after getting 'banned'?

Glad to see you're among the exceptions :)
So you have to give your account, hmm? Looks like it could backfire to the user.

Stopping people from hacking is impossible, that's very true. But if we don't find a way to hinder their hacking, everyone is going to suffer. So, what would you suggest?

I just joined the facebook group and saw a little argument between Motor Away and Stuparu and some other people. And wooooow, Stuparu is literally a god there

Anyways I'd say all this multiple account stuff is really just a runaway effect caused by Gameloft making all these cars IAP and ridiculous reward set ups, like where did the 1000 player divisions go? I think the rage on the cars and multiple accounts and all the other issues is starting to build up and asphalt is going to end up as one those dead games with all cheaters in a couple months. :(

Soo umm, when the glitch is fixed, will some San Diego. Harbor. Reverse ghosts be unbeatable? Does anyone know if it was like this with the Audi glitch too?

That may be true, but that doesn't excuse the players who are cheating to obtain all of the stuff that GL has chosen to make very difficult and/or expensive to get.

This game is GL's property, and if they want to turn their customers upside down and scandalously attempt empty out their pockets, that's their choice.

The clans trying to justify their stealing of GL's property is pathetic and dishonest, and there's really no two ways about it. As the old saying goes, two wrongs don't make a right. I'm sure those clan members don't really care, but all they're doing is ruining the game for everyone else.

    ^^This

Honest players who use their IAP can ask their money back since other players hack/cheating just to avoid the IAP Wall. Potentially. Instead of making TA TLE I would love much more a solution for those issues.

sorry, i come off as pessimist; :p
the suggestions are good, and impractical since the people who hack, are most likely to get around the issue. the biggest thing to work on should be the copy data issue, stopping average users from abusing exploitable functions. "every day" the game updates around 1pm EST or so, and they can push a system check onto devices and restrict access from the device, or require people to start from scratch. there ARE solutions, but deciding what is best for the game, vs best for the players.

should GL say only #1 will get car or top prize? then the 99% of players are discouraged and stop trying. a few will say 'i can beat hackers!!!'
suppose they say top 100 will get prize; then hackers increase their numbers, BUT, still allow many 99% a real chance to win. GL has it difficult!

and then the copy data issue; clan wins car, then shares car; to me, this does seem like something blockable, by my, and others, suggestion; albeit robust, it can work. slowly GL will reduce the number of data copies, but wont stop the actual hackers. besides, why not just release A9 and not even worry about A8 *_*.

hey did you hear that rumor about A9 coming for holiday season release?

Where did you hear that? I don't think GL will stop updating A8 just yet.

On a side note: I can't play A7 on my iPad Air, but I can play it on the iPhone 5S. I'm not sure if it's the A7 chip since both devices have it. I wish GL would import a few tracks from A7 like they did with Monaco from A6 to A8.

yes and no. I could give plenty of ideas how to improve the game to prevent cheating on such big scale. One of them is to provide every car with unique id calculated from the unique id of a user who won it. This way only actual winner could use it. GL would only have to check the hashtags... simple as that. If they can control the fuel bar, thay can do it with the rest
But the problem is not the difficulty ofdoing this but that Gameloft seems not to care a bit.

In comparison with the Nismo on the same track, that car is very SLOW!
    Anyway...
It will be smashed by the Biome!

... And my garage is almost full (waiting for Koenigsegg One:1)
    Sorry Mazda!

What's up with GL's fascination with The Mirage? Isn't everyone tired of that track right now? There's been multiple events for the last 7 straight days running on Mirage, and then they do the Furai Cup AND another D Class Cup on it too? Ugh.
