I believe I answered a similar question earlier in the thread but that is correct. We are working at integrating more with GC and Game Services for iOS and Android, and with that we won't be focusing so much on Gameloft Live in the future.

It's not easy for me, I'm really struggling with drifting. I always crash into the walls

    I have 60k available and I don't have neither a A or S car.

Should I buy 2 cars one A and one S, or try to buy a good A? and hope that with that I can access season 6?

Unfortunately it was the best car I had at the time, I was forced to buy it for one of the other events. Although the stats are good, I agree with you; it looks like crap.

@Gameloft_Ryan In some of the events you must buy cars to win the races, I'm wondering why you chnages that from A7 where the game let you use the cars for that race. It really annoys me, and I'm just starting season 4 with all races gold except some of the ones that force you to buy something. IMO it should be changed to how it used to be in the next update.

I think in a perfect run you can't hit another racer (but apparently you can hit other vehicles on the road, according to another poster).

I don't know if this has been addressed but how are people finding the mp? I know that Asphalt 7 had live mp, where as the mp in Asphalt 8 is asynchronous . I just wondered what people's opinions are on the ghost mp versus live mp. I prefer live mp but at the same time, people tend to drop out of races in live mp when they are losing. Opinions ?

It's just a change the Devs wanted to try out when making the game. I'm sorry it annoys you though :(

Asphalt 8 actually features both modes, the ghost challenges and live multi-player. Based on the wording of your post I am not sure if you were aware of that.

There's both live and async (ghost) MP in A8. And both are awesome.

    Edit: ninja'ed by Ryan.

    @Ryan,
Just on an earlier question you got on the Multiaplayer on iPod 4, its in the description that the online multiplayer is not available for iPod 4 and iPhone 4.
    Ram issues basically.
Just thought I'd point it out and save you an email to someone else.
Not sure how people missed that as it is in the description. Maybe it was recently added in.

I would just skip those till later in the game. You won't need them to get the appropriate amount is stars to unlock each series.
I view them as a "come back to" event and also one that makes me change cars which adds to the mix. Otherwise it'd be the same car all the time. Its actually pretty normal for a lot of racing games on other platforms. And tis one actually now that I think of it.

I thought the live mp was just local Bluetooth in A8? I just got the game so I haven't figured everything out yet.

The live multiplayer isn't available for the iPod touch 4/iPhone 4.(it is in the app description)
Same problem as we see with Infected Coop mode. Ram just ain't up to it.
Local wifi and ghost is what the iPod 4 has.

    True.

Can earn enough stars to get as far as seven for the most part.
I skipped a lot of the must have a certain car events and still made it to seven and not too far away from eight now.
I'll head back to do some or those earlier ones soon to make it easier to unlock eight series.

Edit. Sorry for the multi post. Multi quote not working well for me right now.

I read through some of the menus and it says the reward scales with your level, meaning if I have a rating of say 1500 I'd get ALOT of credits than compared to if I was 1000. So Multiplayer rewards players based on their skill since the higher their rating is, the more cash they will get. So skill truly matters.

That's basically what I've been doing unless the car is something I would buy anyway at that point. I don't like that they force you to have to buy that specific car, but it's the amount of these types of races that is really annoying. There's 10 events in Season 3 alone requiring a certain car or brand! That's way too much to stomach IMO.

And even in console games, events like this are usually "preview" events where you don't need to buy the car, you just get to try it in that event.

Anyway, I love the game but think that design decision was pretty lame.

Yeah, it is a bummer all right.
We're just now starting to see the end result of it really no longer being capable.
And it is a pity for people with them, I certainly understand that.
But once its accepted as so, we should see a nice result in gaming in general.

@ awp. I get you're point alright. I forgot about the preview element. I could just perhaps be in a position where I had one of the required cars.
It was amusing for me as well to go back to series one and buy the cars for those events because I was coming from series six and it just seemed easy to buy them and win with them. And open up series seven.
