Wow I missed a lot over the week. :)

Gameloft really wants some money in its pockets with these MPTLEs. The only "fun" cups are the Infected and Division Rodyacht cups. I can't wait for the One:1 though. Those camo colors though.

If you haven't, you can add me on GC: Eyeofthewiger

One of my favorite car treated like this..:( Honestly, even if she's a beauty,750k for a 1400 class B car is a crime. Can be good for MP though, but Furai price is exactly 2 times higher than the CLK,I can't imagine how much is upgrade that car. Nonsense.

It was probably a hack on the video that was posted here, but if it wasn't, it would wipe the floor with the Nismos. That accel was quite scary. Pretty similar to the RS4 before the exploit was fixed.

Word. I am pretty upset that I have to pay real money to get the MC12. It was the only car I really liked in this update. Now I'm relying on a second chance tournament to get it (no GL, I don't have any money to give you, and even if I did, I wouldn't give it to you anyway). If it's a D-class or a test drive tournament I'm fine (stupid Chinese blocking my chances to win the Nismo). Anything else and I have to give up on it forever.

What route are people using for the Infected cup?I am trying to take out all the AI at the start and then take the usual route but find I blow up just after the final corner! I think I may not be getting all the AI as when I take out the 2 in the second row the one I hit takes out the one next to it robbing me of the 10secs I need.
    Any Tips

When it comes to Multiplayer, I see some are saying that they should make higher ranked players face faster cars. My problem is that logic is flawed and unfair. Because I'm higher ranked, I should before forced into matches that I'm designed to lose? Putting me in a losing match and telling me to win makes no sense. That's not fair at all and is broken. The point of any multiplayer (for any game) is to be a fair playing field for all involved.

If they want to fix multiplayer (but kill it aswell) is to make there be a matching system based off rank. Meaning you only race people between a certain skill range based off your own rank. That's how a proper multiplayer game works. Mostly anything else is lackluster because it divides the community in one way.

That is how it appears to work In MPtle you get matched with the drivers,(that are online), with the closest ranks to yours. Which is good, and you are restricted to a limited car choice, say group A, which is good, But then it is the same track, and a Grindathon for days which is mind numbing.

To fix MP, they could make it A different car group each day, and match the players based on rank, and randomise the start grid properly so you would not be able to manipulate it to your advantage and Ban The Use Of Double Tanks.

I have over 35 double tanks now, but can't find a use for them.

Oh and Instead of gaining points you should just have positions, so if you finish a race in front of someone higher ranked than you you go up and if you loose you go down.

Same problem here. I haven't been able to take them all out side-swiping, so I started smashing them from the back just to make sure I got the ten seconds from all of them. I was only able to do it once, and that's when I got to the upper left barrel roll on the final straightaway before blowing up. It wasn't a clean run though, so I still think it might be possible to reach the finish line before being cured.

Also, have you noticed that when you take down an infected AI, you get nothing instead of the usual 5 seconds?

I still think this cup is bugged and not working the way it's supposed to.

I have that Biome event but I've never used it for farming, so I'll try it out.

Unfortunately, you can't. When you know you've won a class upgrade in a tournament or as a car collection reward, you should upgrade the car's stat to level 4, and only then collect your upgrade to use it as a level 5 upgrade. Otherwise, you're screwed and have to use it for a lower level upgrade.

And yes, this is all intentional and just a cheap attempt to force you to grind or buy credit packs.

There is no way to do that unless you already have some car upgraded to level 4 in some category. I'm assuming the highest priced B-class upgrade is the Biome's level 5 top speed.

How did you get this class B upgrade?

Whoops, guess I should have read the other posts first. But yeah, when you're claiming stuff like car collection rewards, specifically rewards having to do with class upgrades (it's noted on the page, so you can know in advance what your rewards will be), make sure all of the cars you want to boost have level 4 speed upgrades, to maximize the value of your free upgrades.

By the way, does anyone remember when free class upgrades were given out as prizes in the daily tournaments?

I think the player ranks should be thrown out the window with the matching system. It should be all about the car a player is using. That's how you determine who is the best racer. You give everyone the same car and see who wins. The problem is that the boosts make that matching system unrealistic as well.

I know a lot of other players don't agree with that system, but that's how I'd like it to be. I want to be able to race with any car I want, and not have to worry about facing cars that are completely out of its league because of my rank. For instance, I'd love to run MP with the P1, but anytime I do, I get matched up against all of the top S Class cars. If the drivers of those cars don't make any costly mistakes, my chances of winning are pretty much nil.

Yeah, the TLEs work. If multiplayer was like that but with the randomized maps like normal, it would be amazing. Another way it would be better is if in each class, you matched you based on a group of cars that have similar ranks to you.

    For example:

B class - Biome, 599xx, Shelby, Gallado, and CLK GTR (this is one group in b class. Meaning these cars can only race each other and no other car because they'll be at either an advantage or disadvantage to surrounding cars).

A class - Viper, Corvette, Marussia, SLS Final Edition (one a class group)

They won't ban extra tanks btw.

The problem there is that almost 50% of the top 100 players are no longer playing on a daily, even weekly, basis. Players like Dlusion, almond neo, Mohammed Maroc, Public Enemy, Running Bird, chubbie, pk paperino, banananamann, and many others - they've all basically given up on MP, so I can no longer race against them like I used to. The highest-rated players I've faced off against are specifically the ones taking advantage of this new "race-against-any-player-with-a-similar-car-rank" update.

Trust me, competing against a field of 1200-rated Survolts or Roadsters (usually driven by 1100-1200 players, who are usually familiar with the tracks) is much tougher than squaring off against a 2000-rated player in a Mini, all boosters, who only has that rating because they no longer have to compete against those stronger Survolts and Roadsters.

Two nights ago, I faced off against a player called Clarisse (now in the top 100 somehow) in Iceland, 2 laps, and I crushed her. I posted around a 4:05, and she well was over 4:30. While her 4:30 might get the job done against a field of beginners in Scions or low-level Camaros, it wouldn't have been enough against 1200-rated Survolts. At least the old matchups allowed for some policing of the top 100; if you couldn't average at least about a 2:05 per lap in Iceland with a Mini, then you had no business earning such a higher rating, and fully deserved to wallow in the 1700-ish category.

MP ranking used to be almost purely about consistency of performance, and now that they've thrown that away, almost anyone can get in simply by grinding their way to a high rating.
