Wow. That's one hell of a cheap glitch.

No doubt, and I don't think that's the only spot on SD/SDR where there's a glitch like that. During the MPTLE there were numerous occasions where opponents would crash and reanimate well ahead of me.

Well, it is cheap but don't blame on me. Got the original one from someone else.

Just wanted to share hoping that skilled people won't lose MC12 on Android because of this. Not a great car but got to pay cash for it.

No worries. Nobody's blaming you. Thanks for showing it to us.

Hmm, is it okay to do the same to beat the glitchers in my division?

If you want to beat them, you probably don't have a choice. But yes, it's okay. The glitch is GL's fault, it's not a hack or something like that.

All is fair and square on the field of war, as long as you don't break any rules. It was a smart move though, using this as a trump card. Oh well, better luck next time when GL will actually make a decent tournament with a reasonable rank limit. Oh wait

LOL, I tried the glitch and got owned by the speaker pole. Rip

Edit: Decided to play multiplayer and ran into a Rivale GTR, such hacks.

It almost looked like this bloke was trying to make it into the warehouse via the hole in the side. Can you use it? Sure, like the old Audi double boost surge.

I just did a funky barrel roll racing MP on Barcelona. After the two right turns near the start, I grabbed the first orange bottle on the left and was dropping down to the blues beneath. Only, I didn't go far enough to drop off the edge and got hung up in a grind for a split second, I steered hard to the left and finally got out of the grind, and my car rolled over and landed on it's wheels. Pretty sweet. Might even be a time saver if I could replicate it.

Also, saw you in one of my races, 4118. I wasn't much comp since you were boosted up.

Also, I'm still racing with the Mini if anyone wants to join in.

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could help me understand the performance difference between triple nitro and perfect nitro?

My understanding of it just from playing was that the top speed was the same but the triple nitro burned your nitro bar faster so I tend to aim for the perfect nitro every time unless its a 1 second landing before another jump or something like that. Having watched some videos of a few top players like elite hector x and another guy I can't remember the name of has got me thinking I might be missing a trick as they seem to make use of the triple nitro a lot, and asking myself now does the half second or so you wait for the perfect nitro red bar translate into a slower lap time.

I've come very close to winning a couple of cars lately like the savage rivale roadyacht and the Maserati mc12 (think I was 4th in both) but still find myself up to a second away from the top guy, usually summer something or other, and I feel like I'm putting together very good laps, good racing lines, all shortcuts, all low barrels with minimal airtime etc etc.

The only other thing I can think is that I'm not as good at handling the sharp drift turns on unfamiliar unmaxed cars and may be overdoing the length of drift as I'm now used to playing mainly season 9 venom, gallardo, biome, huayra etc to boost credits to unlock the rest of season 9.

Any thoughts on any of this would be much appreciated, thanks :)

Ps if anyone wants to add me I'm under 327dave327 on game centre on iOS, I don't have many great ghosts but a few I'm pretty happy with and would like to race a few others, the only person I can find to even play the bloody game is my girlfriend and she's only on season 2 after over a month lol

    @327dave327

Well the general rule in TLEs is: every piece of second counts. So whenever you've got enough nitro till the next bottle/jump/curve/etc ALWAYS TRIPPLE ;)
This is one of 3 most important things to get top time. Another two are a clean start with side knockouts on AI if the map requires it and the last is close/sharp turns & drifts as short as possible. Generally every TLE comes out to stay all the way on nitro. That's why it is also important to make a clean run to get the extra nitro from perfect runs.

You've pretty much got the hang of it. Triple nitro burns it faster, but also reaches top speed quicker. There's a lot of strategy involved with the timing of when to use each method, but it's mostly dependent on keeping your car bursting for as much of the race as possible. In spots where there's a lot of refill opportunities or jumps to break your nitro boosts, triple boosting is often the faster way to get around. Also, the double tanks (which are often used by the guys in the vids you've watched) allow for much more liberal use of the triple boost.

Basically, it's faster to triple, but only when it doesn't cause you to run out.

I'll send you an invite, here in a few, btw.

Thanks guys, I think I was close to reaching the conclusion to use triple where the amount of nitro to the next boost allows, was kinda hoping that wasn't the case tho as it's a new element to go back and figure out and learn for each map lol! The clean start is abother one I've been having to try and learn, I spent most of my single player time learning the game just ploughing into other players and it's only recently I saw the value in a very clean start with side knockdowns only, after watching public enemy number ones Maserati San Diego video (thanks again bud, think I saw you on here). Will sort out the add on game centre as soon as I get a break in work here slightreturn, cheers!

This forum thread is excellent btw and thanks to everyone who seems to really be into it and posts a lot, I'm pretty new to the game and if I hadn't found this forum and the wealth of knowledge in it I would probably have given up about a month ago just before I started playing events etc and the single player was basically complete (then season 9 came along...)

Agreed..tripling also boosts your speed a bit above the top speed of the car which also helps to get better times; just make sure you don't run out while tripling also, for some cars with excellent nitro duration, you can even go without hitting any AIs which would be ideal though extremely hard on some maps

Ok guys last question for today and sadly its a big noob question lol, do you need to add on facebook to get ghosts to add? I just accepted ninenines friend request on game centre there and his aren't showing? This also happened when I set up an account on my girlfriends phone to get the friend achievements

Adding a friend on GC should be all you need. I've never associated my A8 with a Facebook account.

You might try closing A8 out in multitasking and relaunching. Or it might just take some time for the friend to be added in game.

ETA - might just take some time. I'm not showing you yet in game, even though I got the notification that you accepted my invite.

Thanks again, hopefully that is it and I can unlink it from the facebook account, it won't let you link the fb account without agreeing to let it post on your behalf and its a pain the the ass having it fill the activity log there
