omg I wish soooo bad that I could record my races like some of you can. I was grinding some credits in San Diego Reverse and launched off that first giant curved ramp to the left across the water channel onto the left track (it gives me one to two extra barrel rolls). EXCEPT... mid-jump I crashed because I got hit by a freaking jet. It was absolutely awesome.
I hit that jet 3 times before I figured out why I was crashing there. I just kept blowing up in midair and was like what the heck? Somebody else posted a great screenshot at impact of it a handful of pages ago as well. Pretty cool. I haven't crashed into it since then, as I started taking the barrel roll but then staying on the road the ramp is on instead crossing over the water.

Ha! I hadn't heard of it. I laughed so hard when it happened to me, because I actually saw the jet for a millisecond before it hit me. That's great stuff.

Nevada Cup in Italy, first wins 1mln. Good. D Class sadly. Sadly because I haven't a Mustang. Even if Nevada is one of my favorite tracks, every time I compete there I realize how is still difficult for me getting a barrel roll under the bridge. I miss that "sweet spot" too many times.
The Nismo battle starts tomorrow guys! We can choose between a WW cup with the first 100 get the car (5 fuel) or a 5000 players division where only the first can get the Godzilla (3 fuel). EDIT:
Personally I can't choose between the two. Even if the TLE is 5 days longer In not that sure to be in the top 100 and we have to burn 5 fuel points per race. I'm the kind of player who need more tries before getting a perfect lap,the fuel system killed me. The 5000 division give 3 runs, but we don't know against who until we post a time lap,too many Chinese /clans out there. I need to choose really good this time. I badly want that car.
Gameloft, Gameloft, Gameloft.... What have you done to MP now? I played about 90 minutes of MP tonight, and here's what they've done (bear in mind that my rating is 3,032 points, so you might not be dealing with the same issues...but actually, I don't see why not, as it would appear to affect everyone): -They've completely recalibrated the matching system. I'm no longer exclusively racing Survolts/Audis/Roadsters/Nissans rated 1150-1205. Now I'm simply competing against any other driver whose car is rated around 1039 like my Mini. While it did mean that I encountered a few decently rated (1300-1500) drivers who also had Minis, I was mainly facing beginners with cars whose ratings were lower than mine! I haven't lapped so many players in a long time. My extra tank was wasted tonight, as I still won my closest race by over 8 seconds. -The lobbies lock in almost immediately, without waiting for the usual 8-player field. If there are only 4 players in a lobby, it will quickly lock anyway. Now, here's the annoying part: because my MP rating is so high, I need a field of at least 7 players to get 1 point for winning a race. Due to this ridiculous change, despite playing for 90 minutes, winning every race, I won a grand total of 6 points!!! Yes, 6 points for about 25 races, some of which were 2-lap races in long tracks like Tokyo or Monaco! This is the change that angers me the most, as it meant I had to try to duck out of any lobby I entered that wasn't already filled. And not many of them were; there appeared to be a shortage of players tonight. -Random lag! Sometimes a race would go smoothly, but then the one immediately after was choppy and marred by split-second freezing. In my last race of the night (I decided to stop when this happened), I crossed the finish line, but the clock simply reset, and went up to almost 5 seconds before the game registered my win! If I had gotten disconnected, it would have meant finishing the night with 4 points less than when I started, and this despite getting about 25 wins. I don't know if all of this has anything to do with the current MP event (I wouldn't think so, as there was an event last weekend, and MP was working fine), but I hope this is just a temporary glitch that the people at Gameloft will soon fix.
I'm gonna do the division cup first, if I get paired with noobs, I'll only do the division cup. If not, I'm doing both.
