Has anyone run out of free boosters since the update came out? How much are the nitro starter and the tuning kit these days? I'm curious if they used the new collection rewards to do another stealth price hike. A family member recently got their first iPhone and started playing Asphalt, and the prices they're seeing at level 1 seem suspiciously close to the level 85 prices I last saw. As a reminder, the pre-update prices were 10,000 and 15,000 credits. (I recently got those numbers wrong in a reply to Slight Return, but I'm pretty sure I have the right numbers now.)
It has nothing to do with the levels. It is your career mode progress that matters, forget about how it increases with your progression, though. That's correct. Credit per unit increased a lot compared with the old 15000/8hr and 10000/2hr.
I don't know, never really look to be honest. On another note, seems like you lose a lot more points for a second or worse place finish in straight MP play since the update. Also, seems like if you hit a car from the rear, the rear car dies more often than the front car. And, it seems like lower-rank cars can kill higher-ranked cars easier — like there's some sort of sensitivity control or something that is different for different ranks. It might even be totally random, but the dynamic has certainly been altered.
So my memory is playing tricks on me. Thanks for checking! I'll check what prices the iPhone newbie gets if they keep playing. Who knows, maybe we oldtimers are getting a rebate. Wow, I remember that very differently, but maybe I never connected the dots right. Still, 2,250 and 3,000 credits seems kinda high for an absolute beginner at 5 stars/level 1.
This was helpful. Thanks for posting. 7500 for ten minutes of the nitro starter and 10000 for fifteen minutes of the tuning kit. Also, the rank increase from the tuning kit decreased since the update.
I did my run too on the Nevada Masters Cup, 1.07.273 extra tank. http://youtu.be/s5RNs_Kna6s Didn't had many tries, have to go to work now and I need to focus on the MC12. Tonight I'll have a few runs on the MC12 cup. Yesterday I got 1:06:333 with 3 mistakes, I will improve later
Do you think you could post a video or tell us the route you are using to get those times? Or at least tell us how you get past the front cars please. Sorry but I'm actually really curious as to how someone could get a 1.05 ish
Hi! Fabiennnnnn_GL! Dude... Are You Busy? How is the weather in Barcelona? Open this Padlock for us, man! I mean... This weekend! What you guys waiting for?
It will be a challenge however it would be good to see another TA member get one over the clans. I will keep an eye out, what's your in game name?
@VDarkZero How you doing my brother, hope your well! I finally cracked the top 100 in MP ( achieved a personal target ) only to find myself right alongside you, what an honour. Salute!
Regarding the MC12 cup, here's a guy who went 1:06.033. That time would win most divisions: (He was also cheating by using the fuel bar glitch, as his time didn't actually count. But anyway, that appears to be the fastest route.)
I picked the wrong time to join a division for the MC12. All kinds of clan members in mine, with Winter and Summer members on top right now at 1:06:0xx, which I'm sure will turn into 1:05:xxx as they battle each other for the car. No sense in wasting boosters trying to get this car. I should've just gone for the grind again and put up a full effort to get the Onyx.
Hey dark zero I see you are back in the game. I thought you had backed out of the zombie cup and that it was just me and ani babes from here in the running. Which route I best??? I use both depending on the start position an what happens I front of me but I do sometimes get overtaken or rammed from someone on the other path. ??? So I am un sure. And do you do flat spins off the ramp if you go left?
I like the left path/drop down flat spin route. It's definitely the more difficult one to pull off, but if you do it clean, you have the nitro advantage when the two paths meet back up.
My route: Start. Hit the corner slightly early so the drift is tight around it. Perfect nitro (on the right road) until you reach the next turn and drift slightly then perfect nitro into the two blue bottles. Drift around the next corner, trying to hit all the city havoc on the left side if the street. Keep driving down the street until you get low on nitro then start micro drifting for 5-10% of your bar so you have just enough to hit the ramp (the perfect nitro should carry you over the ramp). Drive down the street with a perfect nitro and drift the hard curve corner (the drift distance should be around 150 yards/feet (whatever it is) or less. 90-110 is the best) and get the blue bottle. Drive down the street and flat spin on the first ramp on the right, landing on the bridge. Continue driving up there till the finish line (make sure you get the yellow bottle, it'll last you till the end). My good/average times are between 55:200-55:300. My best time recently has been 55:060. I can hit the 54 mark, I feel it.
