I understand and agree with your points. I'm also a completionist, but I lost my fate in A8 when exclusive paid car packs appeared. I already spent $25 on D, C and B car packs long time ago, and I think that's enough money for a full game. $99 on a 2-car pack is just insane. I'd happily pay $5 for each 2-car pack, but not more... And I play still play daily since release day. I just don't want to spend all the day playing to be on the top of the leaderboards.
SanDeigo is a good track for mp as it isn't dependant on nitro bottles. This allows close racing and the choice of routes also helps.
Is it possible to buy double tanks with points? I still have one and I'd like to know if I should save it for later.
Hi Sometimes it feels like I play another game from you guys. Like MP TLE, whatever is that? And yeah, I'm on winphon, so I havent even seen sd yet. If you seen me in game, its as JonnyFrosk
I think that's how it will work unfortunately, Those who play all the time will lead the leaderboards. It's not so difficult though I was approximately 1million something at the start of the event and ended up at around 60000 after just 7 races and not even winning them. One thing it does tell you though is that the game's pretty popular,1 million players for a 'timed' event that lasts less than a few hours is mindblowing.
You're welcome, I'm glad No problem, my channel is almost an Asphalt guide Also I have made 1:06.271 on SLS cup, current 5º on Android leaderboard
I'm with you on all of that. The Onyx TLE was the first and – based on my overall experience – almost certainly the last time I will spend any money or significant time on a TLE. I think the tone of my post (the one you were responding to in the above quote) may have conveyed a message that I think this format of MP TLE is legit. It's not. It's not like $5 is much to spend as a one time thing – I mean, I think it brings my total spent on A8 to ~$10? And, the game does need some monetary support to continue on with content, BUT (huge but) Gameloft seriously needs to reevaluate its overall IAP philosophy, because their current pay-to-win philosophy seems short-sited and therefore detrimental to the long-term health of the game. For example, I would have felt much better spending the exact same amount of money as an entry fee to a non-MP TLE with unlimited attempts for all entrants because that is pay-to-play and then play-to-win, not simply pay-and-win. Even better than that would be to relegate IAPs to things like double-credits and cosmetic items.
Talk about being in a tough division, however can someone tell me if the number 1 time posted is possible without the xtra tank....??
I thought this post http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2947779&postcount=887 was extremely helpful for choosing cars in career mode.
First three MP races with Peugeot: BarcelonaReverse, Tokyo, & VeniceReverse. It's certainly better in MP than I thought it would be.
I just cannot seem to do the weird jump thing on the Alps with the Mercedes Benz. Any tips? I could do it perfectly fine with the Mustang though. If you dont know what im talking about i mean the bounce off the railing
Just bought a Sesto and fully upgraded the handling to see if I can win the Nevada TLE as I've been trying it with a maxed P1 and not beating the 1:11:00 time. It is not as good as the P1 and many seconds slower. And the handling isn't that much better than the P1 either. Not sure why the Sesto is so popular. P1 will remain my favorite car in the game so far. Not to mention the P1 Nitro beats the Sesto hands down. Perhaps the Sesto is more useful for multiplayer.
Even in MP I think the P1 is superior. The only advantage the Sesto has is that it's a little quicker off the line. The Sesto's popularity came from it being an awesome car back when there weren't as many choices, but now the P1 and the LaFerrari have upstaged it in the A Class. However, in the beginning it was an A Class car that could compete with the S Class cars that were available. Like many other cars, it has lost value as newer content has been added.
Pretty close. P1 is a little faster off the line and has better nitro duration, slight edge to the LaFerrari in handling. The top speeds are nearly identical, as is the nitro boost. Both are solid cars, but the P1 is slightly better due to the acceleration and longer lasting nitro.
No. LaFerrari has faster acceleration. P1 is better because of higher top speed and nitro duration. Sesto is a great car in MP because of its relatively low rank, while P1 is actually not a good choice as there is a great chance to face lower tier S class cars
I think the P1 is faster, and the stats back that up. A maxed P1's acceleration is 2.05 seconds, maxed LaFerrari is 2.13. Depending on your rank, you're going to get matched up with S Class cars in MP with the Sesto as well.
That number is just for non-nitro start which no one does. If you're interested, you can do a test yourself. Pretty sure about that.
In MP, you can always control sesto's rank. It is very rare for a sesto to face S cars in any case, though. Sesto is good in MP also because of its acceleration, whose importance is weighted more in MPs
You might be right, I really don't know. The P1 feels faster to me, but I don't think there's a great deal of difference either way. I think we can agree that overall the P1 is the faster car though.
