What's the deal with the Rose of the Desert and the Mirage tracks? As far as I can see they are the same as Dubai and Dubai Reverse but without the barrel roll ramp mega-shortcut over the water and another missing ramp towards the end. Are there some other ramps/shortcuts to compensate?
No, the barrel roll ramp being taken out and the start/finish line are the only differences (that I know of). Without the barrel roll ramp, the sharp turn route becomes the slower one.
I'm at 113, so I'm probably not going to make top 50, but I'm going to grind it out and go for it anyways. Might as well since I have to keep playing to stay in the top 250.
While the Onyx definitely appears to have good handling, there's no way it will be able to compete with the Venom, and it probably isn't as good as the Lykan or the Tuatara (or Aero or ME-412) either. So why was this car added to the game then?
Does anybody know if they are making an Asphalt 9 already? I just got this game actually and was planning to spend a little ($5-$20) but since this game has been out for a while, i dont know if they are planning to keep updating this one for a good time longer, or if they are going to stop relatively soon and release an Asphalt 9. Any info is appreciated, as well as any tips for a new player haha. I was looking at that $5 pack for 1 car from each class. Been playing the Asphalt series for a while, but only played a game or two before deleting 8 a while ago, because i didnt really have enough room and it ran a bit choppy on my old iphone. Looks amazing on the iPhone 6 though! EDIT: Doing pretty well though, just won my first multiplayer race by a 16 second margin for 2 laps on a map ive never played before haha, didnt even hit a wall
I think it has potential to be competitive with the Lykan, but it definitely won't match the Venom. As for why they released it, that's simple. So they can make more money. Cars don't have to be the best in their class for GL to profit off of them.
That's a good question. I'm curious about that as well. It seems like they've been adding a lot of content lately, so it's hard to imagine they'll be releasing 9 very soon. But, I'd definitely like to hear on the matter from someone in the know. The way GL has been operating lately, it wouldn't surprise me if they kept releasing expensive new content in 8 all the way up until the point where they release 9, snatching every last penny they can up from their customers from 8 and then immediately making that spent cash obsolete with the new release.
Argh! I just had a race won easily after clearing the sharp curve and having my only remaining opposition wreck into the wall, and then my car got loose on the hill and slammed the wall causing me to finish 6th. Followed that up by getting disconnected somehow (it wasn't on my side) from the pole position. Total waste of 40 minutes worth of fuel, and they were also my final two runs on my 2hr nitro starter.
Is it worth investing into one car from each tier and upgrading it for later use? Or should i not upgrade my D class much Not sure how much you use D class cars later in the game
What's the best car in S-Class for TLE's? I see a lot of Lykans in the top 100 and I'm debating whether to get a Lykan or a Huayra. The Huayra has a better handling so that's a plus but it doesn't have the top speed or the acceleration of the Lykan. I'm not considering the Tautara or the Venom as I don't have as many credits and don't want to grind for them. Also, is there a way to check how long a car's nitro lasts? Like the McLaren P1's nitro lasts forever and I wonder what the best lasting nitros are in each class.
You'll still use the D class in the later seasons, but far less often. It is a good strategy to focus on a solid car from each class to get going, as most of the events in seasons 1-8 give you the option of using any car in the class. But, definitely be smart in choosing which one to focus on. I'll try to help with that, but there have been a LOT of cars added since I went through the seasons, so my advice may not be perfect. D Class - Nissan 370Z - all the D class cars are pretty cheap, and upgrades aren't bad either, so this is a good choice unless you're going to buy the Mustang through IAP. C Class - Lotus Exige S Roadster - good acceleration and nitro duration, and moderately priced. B Class - Citreon Survolt - this is a great car all around, and the cheapest of the class. A Class - Lambo Sesto Elemento - another sweet all around car, and while there are better ones in the class (LaFerrari and P1), the prices don't make them as useful for people starting out. S Class - Lambo Veneno - again, cheapest car in the class, but for the first 8 seasons it has a great cost to productivity value. Later on, you'll need one of the more expensive cars for the TLE's, but for the seasons, the Veneno is fantastic.
Definitely the Lykan. As much as I love the Huayra, The rank difference alone should tip you off to the fact that it isn't as great as the lykan (although in mp before the china update, you could beat lykans as long as you triple boosted off the line (huayra is faster accel tripled), snagged most of the nitro bottles, and were a good enough driver)
I would definitely go with the Lykan if choosing between it and the Huayra. The Venom is probably the best overall non-IAP car, but it is supremely expensive, both initially and for the upgrades.
Koenigsegg Agera was the other one I was considering because of a much higher top speed. I don't know how much it factors into the chances of winning TLE's.
I wouldn't waste time with the Agera until you have a credit surplus. It's a boat. It is slow off the line and handles terribly. The Lykan is more expensive for sure, but it blows the Agera out of the water in pretty much every category except top speed, which it more than makes up for with vastly superior acceleration and nitro boost/duration.
How much does the Savage Rivale (I think that's what it's called) offer cost, I don't want to accidentally pay like $10 for a car.
It runs great on the gf's 6. Graphics are smooth and controls are responsive. What specific problems are you having?
