Can someone tell me what Barrel Rolls and Flat spins are, and how do you achieve them? Also, how do you activate perfect nitro? I can't find a certain technique, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. And finally, way is the best way to grind for cash? Cars and upgrades are very expensive, and you don't earn that much money per race. Ad BTW, I am in the first season, currently replaying to get all stars. Usually I only get about 3 stars a match, and I am making 700-1000 coins a race. Looking back in the thread, some people are making ~5000 coins a race. Am I doing something wrong?
I have the Veneno a while now and it is a truly awesome car in the game. My reactions and eyesight are simply not good enough to keep up with it. Its awesome. On some people seeming to hit a paywall. I've 16 cars owned . Some top end such Veneno, corvette, F12, S4, 458, Urus amongst others. Up to series 7. 423 stars. 80,000 cash waiting to be spent. And I'm still winning in series 7 even though level 2 is my upgrade level of the cars. And I've hit no problem at all. As someone said earlier, its all about the stars for the next series, gaining money in the higher one and going back to get full stars. In a way anyway. Just got 10,000 on race with 5 stars so the money does go up a lot. Don't look at it as trying to complete a series and move on. Look at it as unlocking higher series, earn more cash, go back and get more stars, move up a series again, get more cash. That's how its working for me. And I still haven't bough any iap. It really is no problem at all. You just won't get all cars in one playthrough, but that's a design to keep you playing long term, not to force iap.
Perfect nitro is when you hit the nitro, the bar shows a red part. To initiate Hit nitro once. When the nitro level hits the red part of the indicator, hit nitro again. This also gives the best nitro results as opposed to three hit nitro. To get higher money, move on a series. See above post. Flat spins happen when you hit a normal ramp. Go into drift just before you hit them. Barrel rolls are from the slanted ramps. Hit them high and as fast as possible to get maximum rolls. You can also get them on high flat ramps if you hit them with only one side of the car with two wheels on the ramp. That I haven't mastered just yet.
What often works even with weaker cars: A perfect start! Hit nitro right after 3, 2, 1, and watch the nitro display immediately. Sometimes you get a red "perfect nitro" section in the display right at the beginning. Soon and short. Hit the nitro button once more when the red part of the display is reached. This is often enough to touch the next car in front of you (if you can't gain enough nitro begin a little "snake dance"—drifting a flat slalom for some seconds—for collecting a small amount of nitro, or hit some street signs or other things). When you touch a car (even slightly) in "perfect nitro" mode it will crash easily and instantly (like in A7's and A6's "adrenaline mode"). I accomplished that several times: Let's say you start in position #6 (the last one as always in the career races). 3, 2, 1, start! Be quick now: "Perfect nitro" until you reach #5. POF! CRASH! ELIMINATED! With such a crash you get more nitro! Try to watch the nitro display while crashing I know it's hard. #4 POF! CRASH! #3 POF! CRASH! #2 POF! CRASH! And finally, you guessed it: #1 POF! CRASH! All of that within a few seconds! Don't forget to steer a bit during that crash combo (always in direction to the next candidate). This will give you a distance for some seconds in classic races and all races with opponents. And a full nitro tank! As always when you get stuck somewhere in Asphalt: Drive as aggressive as possible! NO MERCY!!! Eliminate opponents whenever you can. Crash on their roofs on landing after giant jumps. Push them into walls. Steer in the air and crash in the air! It will be rewarded believe me! There is more WAR and SPEED inside than in any air or space combat game!
A complaint I have is that, during takedowns, the computer doesn't take control of your car as the camera spins for a cinematic view. I've crashed quite a few times due to this. NFS did this (though sometimes it steered me away from the shortcuts), I think it's only fair that you should either have some control during a takedown or the computer will automatically steer your car during that period.
I think you have some control over your car as I was able to chain a 5x takedown and had to move to left and right in the cutscenes to ram the other cars
From my experience that following takedowns happen so quickly that i get the impression that steering during the cutscene makes a difference
D- Audi R8 e-tron. Get it as soon as you can because the starter car is terrible. When it becomes uncompetitive replace it. C- Mercedes SLS Electric Drive. So much better than the Audi RS3 in season 3 and up. B - Your choice Aston Martin DB9 or Citroen Survolt. DB9 is more expensive though A - Mclaren MP4-12C spider S - Haven't got this far yet but I really like the Veneno.
Citroen Survolt is so awesome. Incredibly fast acceleration. I wish I could start over again but it'll still keep my saved data right?
Well I'd like to restart because of some poor early choices I had made >_> If I restarted I could easily get back to where I was in half the time with ALOT more cars.
