Yep, as always, you are correct. Taking away that start destruction would hit GL's pockets, so it isn't going to happen. I've still got nearly all my boosts from the collections, and many that I had acquired from MP before that. I don't know how many 8 hour TK's I have left, but I've got over 30 altogether, along with 20+ nitro starters. That's the only reason I'm using some of them now. I never used any of them in TLE's until they started doing the divisional events for cars, and I always placed high enough to get everything I used back, plus some. Speaking of the boosts, what are the costs and durations for them currently? In other words, if I run out, how much do I have to pay to get more and how long do they last?

Nitro starter: 7,500 credits (10 minutes) Tuning kit: 10,000 credits (15 minutes) Not sure about the extra tank's current price. It might be $2. The other two are way more expensive now than they used to be (Remember how Gameloft tried to convince us they had reduced their prices by conveniently forgetting to mention the shortened durations? Good times. ), but they still pay off in multiplayer.

I'm up over 6300 points in the event, and I'm not getting squat for winning anymore. 15 or so points, tops. So it's not even just a grind. The way it's tabulated, it's setup for people to catch up and for everyone to get clustered. This whole event is just a massive sham. Guess I should've expected that from GL. Still though, I do like the new track, and I've earned almost a million credits since yesterday afternoon. I thought about buying the Biome, but I really hate the look of that car, and also, there's sure to be a car that takes its spot as best in class coming out in the next couple weeks (though, it will surely be IAP only).
Does the built-in streaming functionality work for anyone after the update, by the way? it gets interrupted for me right away after starting my broadcast, and if I try a couple more times, the app eventually crashes. Judging from the lack of active, non-placeholder Asphalt streams on Twitch's web site, it looks like I'm not alone. Some kind of Metal vs. Twitch incompatibility, perhaps?
I use tilt-steering when I play on my iPhone (which is only a 4s), but the trick is to hold it with my thumbs and middle-fingers; thumbs under the bottom corners, middle-fingers on the top corners, leaving my index fingers free to press tiny buttons on a tiny screen. I know it sounds terrible, but holding it that way actually gives me a lot of control b/c I control the tilt of the phone solely through the movements of my thumbs and middle-fingers. My arms/wrists never move. Like so:
I get the exact same symptoms after doing that. And this doesn't surprise me, because the symptoms I'm seeing are different from what the usual bandwidth/connection issues look like. If I were a betting man, I'd bet on Asphalt 8 1.6.2 coming out pretty soon.
Was a tough cup, but was able to win the Rivale RoadYacht! Played so many times... Can't believe that I was 0.012 seconds from getting first, but I managed to get a slightly better time.
Well, and the game finally and effectively screwed me from the Roadyacht... When I finally got a true perfect lap (I think I would get a mid 58, instead of this it got only 58.947) the drift on the last turn didn't trigger... It was the only one time it happened to me in that place of track and it must have been right during this run! Jesus I wanted to bite someone's legs off!!

with such time it couldn't be that dirty BTW, hector I wonder maybe you or anyone else already try after the big jump go left where the slope goes higher to shorten the time in the air? Just thought about this while watching your video from Jaguar test drive cup.) I also thought about jumping on the center on the hill top (like with the biome cup) but not return to the right but instead use the ramp which is there on this platform, try to do low barrel and keep near left side to minimize air time, land on the slope and go down to the road on full nitro. Must try it on quick solo race after work
I am catching up with all of the your messages, in the meantime, I wanted to let you know that since Update 6, there is an issue with the Twitch feature. It will be solved in an upcoming hotfix. This should not take long.
A few questions: -Will this update come on Android? If yes, will it be a few days later that all iOS8-able devices are compatible? -Will you adapt this new Metal feature for Android?
