Unless I'm missing something, the new multiplayer TLE seems to award points for each race. Right now I have ~2000 points and at position 618 or so and the more I race, the more points I get. It would be nice to see Gameloft clarify how it works.
You definitely get points added to your total every race. Sometimes it's just a few, other times it's in the hundreds. How those race totals are figured, I have no idea. I've had terrible races where I get 100+ points, and great ones where I get about the same. Though, I've also had some bad ones where I only get 15 or so points, and also some good ones where I've gotten 400+. Since you always get points no matter what, you should always finish the race, even if you get off to a bad start. You'll always get something for it, and exiting out just wastes the fuel bar.
I guess it is similar to multiplayer: you get more points beating players with higher points. In any case, points inflation with time (no one is losing point) is really really dumb.
Anyone else done regular MP since the update? I was getting 6500 credits per win yesterday, and now it's like 4000... Did I miss a memo?

That's sweet... Any comments on the framerate? Also, what device do you have? What device are you using? And do you have iOS 8 installed?
Yea I just downgraded back to iOS 7 because of that while i can (you can only do this for about a day before it stops working and ur stuck with iOS 8). I figured I'll hold off until they bring out 8.1 or something to fix the crazy lag. I'm currently redownloading asphalt so I hope the new version works with iOS 7.

On a happier note, I think I found a slightly faster route for the road yacht cup. After side swiping 1 or 2 cars, hit the first barrel roll high enough to get you onto the bridge, triple, then hit the next barrel roll really low, triple, then take the turn. I did a slightly less than perfect run with this route and got 58.779
It appears that you win mptle by grinding. You still gain points for loosing. I hope GL get this sorted in the next game and it becomes about skill because as it is it is just a further dumbing down of the game towards pay/grind to win. It's a real shame asit could be so good. If they just took your top 20 runs and total ad them up it would be better but as it is it just rewards the insomniac.
From what I'm understanding you win more points for being unboosted am i correct? If your grinding it out with the most points doesn't that take more skill than boosting and winning? Why??
How? No, there is a faster route. I've made a video... You don't need iOS8 to update A8, it works fine. The only thing you don't have is the new season and Metal graphics. Btw, last but not least, I've made a video of the Roadyacht cup, I did 58:410. I think it will help a lot people. I won't upload it yet, I first need to know how you guys want it? Let me know ASAP
