Yeah, he's still up there near the top. I can't say whether those scores are legit or not because the scoring system seems bizarre at this point. I have no idea what nets you big scores and what doesn't. Here's the current leaderboard.
That is awful! It seems that Gameloft is either incompetent or unwilling for some reason to deal with this issue.
What exactly is the "trick"? My apologies if this way posted wayyyyy back in this thread and I never noticed it.
That's me on top. The points is bizzare. I am running without boosts. Maybe tat helps. Going to sleep now.
No one uploaded a sick riding from San Diego CUP yet? Where's that insane hector with his crazy routes?
It would be really great if we could buy fuel with in-game currency. I wish GL would provide that as an option.
Oh, cool. Congrats! I've been running without boosts as well, hopefully I'll catch you while you slumber. If iOS8 ever finishes, of course.
wow, where did android go in this new update? And um, should I bother upgrading the nissan and biome then if theres new cars coming out?
New multiplayer TLE force people to play all day to be on top, also people who pay to get more fuel have advantage over the rest as they will play more times.
Yeppers. Sorry folks. The rankings in this system of MPTLE are based more on grinding than winning. # I'm still enjoying the individual races, but this certainly sucks out some of the excitement of competing.
Yeah, this could get old real quick. It's fine right now because the track is new and fun, and the idea is also fresh. But once these start running on Iceland with the same old cars, it's not going to be exciting anymore. Hopefully they've got some ideas on how to work these MP TLE's going forward. I'd like to see these run for about 4 hours each. For instance, have a 24 hour total run time for the event, but split it up into 6 four hour sections, and only let each player race in one section (though, hackers will end up in all of them, so maybe this isn't such a great idea). Or better yet, have a start time that runs like a boost. Once you activate the event, you have 4 hours to accumulate your points. When that time runs out, that's your total for the event. Another idea, limit the number of races you can run to accumulate your points.
In Alps (not Alps Reverse), the path will split in 2 near the bridge. You could take the right path, over the bridge, or the left one, under it. The left one is the fastest route, but with some cars (especially D-Class cars), you would normally run out of nitro before reaching a ramp just ahead. However, right at the beginning of the right path, there's a nitro bottle. If you're nimble enough, you can take said bottle and swerve back to the left path. And after the barrel roll shortcut (near a bridge over the water) in Dubai, there's section where the path splits in two, the slower path containing a nitro bottle at the very start. You can do the same there (at least with the Savage perfect/triple nitro).
This specific problem could be solved by changing the fuel system. Right now a player can participate in up to 10 TLE races in any given 100-minute period. Over 10 hours, that is up to 60 races. Imagine how much more competitive it would be if we could do all 60 of those races at our own individual paces during that 10 hour period...
Hey, Hector. I know you don't have the same GPU as me, but what are your settings for HD-Frontend.exe? I finally managed to update my drivers on Bootcamp.
Fabien and Ryan, there is a bug on the San Diego Cup and on the new San Diego season events, at the start of the race the game "touch" itself the pause button, which is enough for other players to make me wreck. Fix it asap please!
Oh that trick. I know you can do that in alps, but I've never been able to do it in dubai. And when I try it with the savage I wreck.
