As long as you have alredy played with the wifi on, it will offer you to retrieve the save file that is on the cloud. If you have linked the game to your facebook account, then the game will also have one more palce where to look for your save file.
No, opponents constantly change, just like regular MP. It's just whoever is racing at the moment when you go to start.
What's your best time so far? I just ran a 58:8xx unboosted. I've seen some 56:xxx's with nitro starter and tuning kits though.
K, that's what I thought, just wasn't sure since I've never removed it from my iPad or played on another device. Thanks for confirming, Fabien.
Thanks. Despite this, I'm 3rd on Android leaderboard, maybe barrel rolls at end would have improved my time, but is hard to do them correctly hehe
Any thoughts on the graphical improvements? Is it much different? Wasn't able to update to iOS 8 yet.
No, it's random. The difference between this and regular multiplayer is that names don't show up. This stops people from running away from skilled players. Around mid 55. That's my best runs.
Okay, I've just spent my entire fuel bar playing this tournament. Main things about this track, I think: -It's better not to go off that big ramp near which makes you land on the oil tanker. Stay on the ground and take the next, smaller ramp instead. -Obviously, it's better to go off the rooftop ramp that makes you land on the dirt path, rather than stay on the main road and go around the longer curve. -In that last turn/fork before the bridge leading to the finish line, it's better to take the left-hand way. I just found out because I finished second behind someone who did, while I took the right-hand way. What about the warehouse roof? Is it better to use the curved ramp and land on it, or to simply go inside the warehouse instead? I'm not sure about that part yet. Anyhow, this MP tournament mode seems to be quite fun, but as the two "SkyRichard" users in the top 50 indicate, we're going to have to deal with multiple account Chinese cheaters again.
I have just realized you can do one thing in Dubai. Remember that, shortly after the barrel roll you take as a shortcut, there's a nitro bottle in the beginning of the left path? If you do, remember the trick you could do on Alps near the start of the bridge when you had low nitro? Well you can do the same there with that bottle too.
Definitely agree with the first two, I've been taking the barrel roll over the warehouse and triple boosting on the landing. In fact, there are so many jumps on this track that I'm pretty much triple boosting everywhere. Nitro is not in short supply.
I always get the short end of the stick with knockdowns. I just landed right on top of an opponent off the jump going up to the carrier, and I'm the one that crashed out. Then two races later, same thing happens in reverse, somebody lands on me, and again, I get crashed. What the hell? Why do I always get knocked out? Same thing off the start line. I can blast right into somebody, and they're fine. I get touched, and boom, I'm knocked out.
I asked to Fabien_GL for new tracks in USA by Private Message a week ago. This guy must think that I am a psychic and probably he hates me too! Well Fabien... I will race right now in San Diego - USA and later I give you a feedback! PS: Thanks for the Koenigsegg 1 that I ask (to GL_Ryan) a few months ago!
I don't know why, but I just got about 300 points for a 59:xxx run and it vaulted me to the top of the leaderboard. I've had numerous better runs than that which didn't give me much of anything. None of my opponents were very strong in this race either. Hmmm... I don't get it, but I'll take it.
Wow. I've only got about 1567 points right now, and in my last few runs was averaging about 30-ish points for a first place finish. While I realize that this San Diego cup is an introductory event for a new game mode, I definitely think that 4 days will be too long for these types of tournaments, if we keep getting more down the road. Hopefully we'll get 24-hour tournaments, limited to only a few cars (and maybe racing on randomized tracks within locations, just to keep players on their toes).
Ah, that must've been a leaderboard glitch. After another race I'm back to 57th, and the leader has over 2600 points. D'oh!
Yeah, 4 days of this is going to be a grind. But at least I'll be rich again. I've been blowing through credits maxing out cars for season 9. I think I'm going to take a break to let my fuel refill and get iOS8 installed.
Huh? 2600 points seems like way too much, unless that player somehow kept buying bar refills. But I finished playing about an hour ago, and the leader then was Burc Ada Gul with a score in the 1700s.
