FYI everyone in the US: Right now when I log in I am being offered a solicitation to purchase the "unreleased" Biome + 89,000 credits "before it hits the store". You can select "miss out" or "buy now". If you select buy now, you log in to your apple account and it then asks: "Do you want to buy one super master credit pack for $59.99?" Way too much money for that car, even with the credits. Sorry GL, it's a no from me. Posting here in case people are nervous about signing in.
Either the Biome will cost around 2 million credits (roughly $60 "worth" of credits) when it is released or it will be a premium car. If it is the latter, then FU Gameloft.
I remember reading Hector's comment on someone's video. I think he said it is a graphical problem with your GPU. Since I'm on a Mac I can't fix the issue (I tried on Bootcamp) because the graphics drivers are incompatible. If you have a Windows PC, you could look up the drivers for your specific GPU. Agreed. I hope I get the Savage.
There really should be Asphalt 8 for OS X. GL could sync data between the iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac, and MacBooks through iCloud. Both OS X and iOS use the same GameCenter data between platforms, making for easy synchronization. I don't know if it's the same for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone.

Ugh, well at least my barrel through the middle off the start method worked. 59:6xx is as good as I'm gonna do since I'm not spending another double tank. That puts me in second with 58:9xx leading. No car for me, but it should be good enough to get a few more double tanks back.

I think it all depends on if you have enough nitro to the end. How many AI cars did you hit in the beginning?
Wow. Some chinese guy from the "Love" clan just destroyed my chances of winning the roadyacht by about .100 seconds. I wish Gameloft would do country-specific division cups. I'd rather play in an 8,000 people division with people from the US only (and the car rewarded to say the top three players) than have to face all the multiple accounts held by the chinese clans. This way, all the people with multiple accounts could play each other.
Also for the roadyacht cup, for you guys having problems with the AI, stay as far left as you can (even graze the wall if you have to). Even if you hit the wall, by the time you get your last perfect run boost, it should be as you are running out of nitro just before the final drifting turn, and it will carry you to the end.
It won't work. There were discussions on how to identify one's true country and I don't think there is a reasonable way to do so. Besides, it looks like they're going to update the game with Metal API soon. Fixing the multiple account issue as well? Not so optimistic. Please do surprise me, Gameloft.

While I agree with your first point, It seems that most of the open clan stays under the chinese banner (don't get me wrong, there are plenty country switchers), and it would make it slightly easier for people in other countries. But you are right, it would be impossible to determine where someone is really from (unless the game was synched to the iTunes store that you use, and that what ever country you use for iTunes is the same country you get for the game. But I'm sure that would have its flaws as well.)
