You're not the only one. I just looked at my division again and also saw a guy who got 58:554 Edit: It looks like Gameloft has a lot of cleaning to do tomorrow with the weekend cups. If they bother looking at it
Dude, why is my luck so ing terrible in this game. I just activated the extra tank for the Savage tourney. First run: the car decides not to drift the corner (which is now rare for me because I know how to do it). Second Run: One of the AI cars of haywire at start causing me to ram the back of his car, completely slowing me down. Then when I tried the flat spin on the main ramp over the water for the first time it doesn't work. Now I play multiplayer to win a race on Dubai with the Mclaren P1 but only to somehow get third, going down 10 points for a win. I'm sick of this bullshit.
Having troubles on your end too? On mine, after Hector uploaded his vid, a lot of people got a better time, making things even harder. I'm trying to replicate the path as well, but I always make a mistake. Thinking of giving up on this one
http://youtu.be/YBConYSKArU Anyone care to watch? Edit: It's not a perfect race, but it's still good. (At least I think so)
Ok. I figured out how to work this car now. I could have got a faster time if I remembered to triple after the last corner. How do you race in that? WTF?
Is it part of Chinese law for their citizens to ruin every video game ever? The fun factor of all games would increase by 100000% if all of China's internet went out.

That makes sense, but the ratio of players-to-cheaters still seems to be higher in China than anywhere else.
After some time, I've learned a few new things. 1. 599xx has been dethroned by the Biome. That car is head and shoulders better than 599xx in everything except acceleration (which it isn't to far off from). Better Top Speed and handling. Unfortunately, I'm salty because I didn't win the Biome (smh) so I'm suffering. That car can compete with the Sesto, seriously. I guess it's time to put up my 599 keys. Today is a sad day. 2. I might have found the new Survolt/Mini for higher ranked players (not the super high rankers, not sure about you guys yet). That would be the Lotus Exige. So far, because if the matching system, I haven't faced a Survolt (which would normally thrash this car pre China update). Most cars can't handle the opening speed. I'm still testing this but the car might be good online. It has below average nitro charactistics btw so expect to manage that nitro pretty often.
I alternated between the Exige and the Alfa Romeo 8C for a couple of weeks during those pre-China days, and the Survolts were very much a problem. (Personally, I prefer the Alfa, even though I agree that the Exige has the better performance vs. car rating ratio.) It's interesting that you didn't meet any — maybe this is another one of those cases where winning multiplayer races gets easier as you gain points, because you don't encounter the most dangerous competing car anymore. (The textbook example for this, of course, is the Mini. Gaining points when you are at 2200 points is significantly easier than when you are at 1700 points, because you hardly ever meet other Minis anymore.)
Try the 12c as well. I had a go today with it and got un maxed Lykans and p1s and even some venoms. It is still a great balanced car and over 2 laps you can even get back ontop of the sesto's. I tried the mustang for a while but it couldn't keep up with survolts so regrettably gave up with it. Ah When is the biome going to be on sale?
Good for you. I cannot replicate Hector's run as much as I tried, so I decided to just abandon ship. Unless GL out of sheer generosity decides to give me the car because I didn't own it (pretty sure that most if not all players above me have the car), it's impossible.
Yes, I'm a huge fan of the 12C. There's a reason why I suggested that car for my The Long March tournament. I also recommend it quite often on Twitch. EDIT: In my experience, however, the 12C stops working in relatively lowly world series points regions where the 8C and the Exige still work just fine. (I know you don't care about that anymore, but it might be relevant for others.)
I like the Alfa aswell but it's a overall bad car in almost any situation. But yeah, I'm not matching Survolts because of my ranking. More like Shelby's and Italia's. I might try to figure out more good cars that are potentially hidden. Most of the time it is all about tight corners, perfect nitro management. You could easily do it. What about that run you can't replicate? I choose not to seriously run it because I don't need money when other people could win the car. I'm not built like that.
