Hi, I'm new to this forum but I've been playing Asphalt 8 for a month or so (922 stars in single player) but I never seem able to win enough multiplayer races to see what you get from the win streaks. The most I got was six wins in a row. So, I was wondering a couple of things: 1) What cars are the best for multiplayer? I tried do them with S class Veneno and Silver Lightning but I almost never win. Using a maxed out Nissan 370Z yielded much better results. The other thing I've noticed is that my competition is almost all Citroen Survolts and I get knocked down very frequently at the start of the race. 2) I have a Citroen Survolt (not upgraded). Is it worth it to pour credits into it to max it out considering it has the top acceleration in the game? Will you get more difficult opponents if you play with a maxed out Survolt? 3) What rewards do you get when completing win streaks? I know it is 1250 for the first three wins, 2500 for the next two, and a class D upgrade after that. It would be great if someone could list out all the rewards available from win streaks? 4) Does anyone have any advice on how to avoid getting knocked down at game start? I've used the nitro starter and it worked for me but at 7,500 for 10 minutes, it gets very expensive fast.
Low barrel roll and stay on the road Welcome If you want to get as many win streaks as you want, you should use boosters (nitro starter and tuning kit), and yes, we know it's expensive lol. 1) Begin with these: Mini cooper, Audi TTS and Chevrolet Camaro (all maxed). 2) Don't max it yet, if you do, you might face very good opponents. 3) You can get D/C upgrades, nitro starters (always the last win streak, after winning 9 MP races) and cash rewards (1250, 2500, 5000 and 7500). 4) You get knocked down because other people might use the nitro starter. If you're not using boosters it sometimes helps to go the the side... So how do you get the rewards for having the maxed out car collections, anyone know?? Edit: Never mind i found it
hey for the Roadyacht cup, are you guys doing a barrel roll across the water or flat spins? does your nitro last for the rest of the race if you do a barrel roll? Cuz it hasn't for me
If you hit a good enough barrel roll you should max out the boost bar anyway, a flat spin will ensure you get a maxed out bar but will slow your time down. Try to make sure you get all the perfect runs possible and drift at corners this will prevent you from completely running out on nitro......this is using a single tank though.
Hmm Should have clarified. I'm running double tank (I'm down to 59.087 but I want to get a lower time) What routes are you guys using to get sub 59 times?
Ugh, I'm so close to getting the Aero, yet someone always manages to pull off a better time. And I bet all of the top 10 do already have it Not giving up yet though.
I am not entering the comps for the SSC or the jag. GL needs to sort out its prize structure as giving the chance to win cars to those that already have them is pointless. Also the 2 goes every couple of hours is the biggest incentive to have multiple accounts. Make it fair please. The P1 TLE was the last sensible worldwide comp.
So, the Roadyacht: It may look like a boat, and certainly isn't the sharpest turner in the game, but at least it fits on the road... unlike the Biome. By the way, I'm thinking of creating a spreadsheet tracking upgrade prices. Anyone interested?

Wow,the Biome is better than survolts and mini's IMO,because is has a good acceleration,good nitro duration and its Handling is godlike,I haven't got any more Money to spend on it,because I've just upgraded all S- and A-Class Cars,but it's my Favourite car and it's Fun!
Yah you're right. I couldn't catch up to it even with a fully upgraded 599. The biome has a powerful nitro
I have been doing some ghost racing and have discovered that when cars over rotate on ramps it is defiantly a glitch. I hit the ramp over the water on Dubai on exactly the same line and exactly the same speed in the same car, the ghost and my car were blended perfectly on approach and going up the ramp. When in the air the ghost performed a nice low roll and my car when're higher and rotated slower but carried on rolling onto its roof!! Also the no drift thing on tight right hand corners is getting worse for me. It's now 50/50 as to weather it will happen. Could GL offer a reward to the highest single boosted car in comps. It would be appreciated, and would give hope to those who don't have unlisted double tanks at their disposal, if you know what I mean.
A similar path to yours. The only difference is, after the first, big ramp and short drift, I stay down near the second ramp, and spin on the third. I end up lacking nitro for the rest of the race (probably related to that). I'll try with yours and see how that works. Thanks for the vid.
