It could have been a better time, my car didn't make a barrel roll on last ramp

I tried your route, Hector, and while I didn't execute it as perfectly as you (and I was too afraid to go for the barrel roll, since I was down to only 2 fuel bars), I managed to take off almost one third of a second and go 1:03.053, so thank you!

That Biome car is terrible. After 4 tries, something went wrong each time no joke. Either I oversteer on the second corner, the car half flat spinned (wrecking itself), or knocking out multiple cars in the beginning dragged my car sideways. Horrible car anyway I put it.

Side note: I just got a lost for winning. I crossed the finish line before the other car even got fully around the last corner on Dubai. So -4 points for winning? Great

It is for me. But again, when I said defeat, I didn't mean it in the sense of losing a race. I was talking about giving up on multiplayer.

I understand the problem they're trying to solve, by the way. They need to find a way to make sure that someone who starts playing today still has a shot at becoming multiplayer's #1. But I don't think ridiculous matchups are the best way to solve that. A mechanism that lets points expire (or at least lose weight) over time would be a better solution, in my opinion. That's what FIFA does in its World Rankings, for example, and I think a similar solution would work well in Asphalt if they adapted the time frame.

Here's an example — a player's rank could be calculated as:

3 x (points earned during the last four weeks)
+ 2 x (points earned during the four weeks before that)
+ 1 x (points earned during the four weeks before that)

Any result that's older than 12 weeks would expire. Silly matchups wouldn't be necessary anymore, so they could go back to the matching algorithm Asphalt 8 started out with.

If they did that, we could go back to racing B and A class cars, we'd see a lot more turnover in the top 100, and sock puppet manipulations would have much less of an effect.

As for ghost races and such, I do the no boosters TLE thing as well sometimes. (I'm on the worldwide learderboard, so you can't see my times.) But the longer I play this game, the more I realize that I find TLEs and ghost races boring and artificial compared to multiplayer. You take stupid risks because you know you can just start over again, and like Turbo 343 said long ago, time trials are all about finding bugs and anomalies in the tracks. I'm not interested in that.

That's some kind of hack that the cheater was using. It happened to me once in French Guiana. I too crossed the line seconds before him, yet the results showed identical times, but me in second.

You don't have to. Me personally, I make sure I stay in the top 100 atleast.

Multiplayer isn't changing on this game. Maybe for A9 but not this game. The reason for the multiplayer change was to trick people into buying the most expensive cars and racing them in multiplayer. It was never about skill but the beginning of pay to win/play. With the way it is now, the upgrades are tripled in price and cars are atleast doubled in price making multiplayer and this game in general a grind (overkill grind). Fixing multiplayer would mean stopping Gameloft from shaking the money out of us at recess.

When it comes to season 9, it's the same thing. At first I thought it was good but didn't realize that every car must be maxed to play in the event. That is atrocious. All that for 16,000? Not even close to worth it.

But don't you have over 22 million spare credits? Maxing every car in your garage isn't much of an issue for you. I've barely got more than 1 million credits right now, but I've consistently spent them on buying/maxing new cars when they are released.

Not at all. I wasn't speaking on my behalf. It was for newer players, not veterans because veterans played when it was effortless to get big sums of money. Especially with the Double credits booster.

    I'm glad ;)

My main problem with this car is to get a full flat spin after climb. On my video I got it correctly, but in other attempts car wrecked...

Fabien what about the bug in the Cloud data? just check the accounts of Open, KB, Summer and Sky clans and you will see thay have 50 - 65 extra tanks.
Just check on Twitch when they stream.

I already have described this bug.
They keep their default amount of boosters (nitro starter, tuning kit and extra tank) on a 2nd device as backup.
Then they start their gaming session on their main device and once they set their times on TLE's or get their new multiplayer raiting the server sync, once their times and new multiplayer raiting are safe they just wait the Cup finishes.
Then they use the backup from the 2nd device with the default amount of boosters, claim the rewards from the Cup already finished and the get +1 +2 +4 extra tanks, nitro starters and tuning kit. That's how they never run out of extra tanks.
Meanwhile honest players like us have do decide when use or when not use the extra tank and save them for important Cups.
The bug must be on the Cloud data, because the Cloud does not save the amount of boosters each player have before start the gaming session!

By the way, I don't understand why Gameloft don't ban them, Gameloft rules clearly say that if you exploits bugs to take advantage you will be banned. And those clans exploit ALL the bugs in the game like a charm!

Just remember the main bugs they used since 1.4.0 version.

    - Get the 4 premium cars for 2 million credits each one instead of real money
-The bug in the fuel system to have many tries on Cups
-Multiple accounts to have many tries on Cups.
-Bug in the Cloud data to never run out of boosters

How many more bugs they will discover and exploit till Gameloft decide to ban them?!

Strange the biggest cheaters about multiple accounts and extra tanks/boosters are clan members. I think the rivalry between them is the main reason about their actions.

And please, we really hope this new feature don't hit AGAIN the balance of the game like the extra tank feature, please tell to the dev team TO NOT put the business interest over the balance of the game.

I'm not joking. This is the best analogy for how the Biome drives:

It literally steers like a shopping cart.

I've drifted with a shopping cart in Walmart once. I may have left a few markings on the floor and aisles. :)

I use Reflector for OS X. The Windows version didn't work so well for me.

Exactly! Since i have already reached the Top 100(my target), and getting any further up means nothing much...

Any chance you can make this vid available on mobile, hector? My desktop died yesterday so I'm stuck browsing on the iPad for a few days until the new one arrives. No worries if you can't. Thanks.
