I posted a 57.461 with the Venom last night, beating PE's ghost, then a while later he beat mine with the Aero, going a 57.095. By avoiding the ramp, I also managed to break 58 seconds with my Tuatara on Wall Ascent, going a 57.981.
I have never seen that little Danny Sullivan spin in A8. Maybe it's something with that ride/car on the "slick" section akin to the Survolt's erratic behavior on the Tokyo circuit.
Someone at Gameloft thinks this is a good idea. If you ever meet them, Ryan and/or Fabien, can you punch them for me? (I decided to get out of the way and let the SLS pass. It was way faster, the driver was obviously not a newbie, and I wanted to at least stay ahead of that Lotus, which was also significantly faster than my lowly Mini. Tokyo is simply too easy a track to be able to deal with a matchup like this.)
That's just plain ugly. Between whacky MP car match-ups, hackers, hackers everywhere and the game-killing fuel bar, it's little wonder there are so many frustrated players.
I've realised that after this update Mini is been a soft target to those newbie Survolts(not the rank of 1107), even without booster they are somehow a threat to the Minis. Raced 3 lap in Monaco Reverse, the first lap was crucial as one of the Survolt was glueing behind me(not that close). Why do GL reduce the speed of the Mini?? Were all the cars being tuned? Ahh Bird, seems like those top notch racers are struggling most game
Yup, something changed about the Mini vs. Survolt balance in the last update. It's hard to put a number of it, but a lot of people are seeing the same effect. I doubt Gameloft will ever officially comment on the change, though. It's all part of their long-standing strategy to reduce the effect of skill on multiplayer results (see also: matching algorithm, extra tank).
GL reduced the speed of Mini by about 2-3, which is quite a impact to the Minis. Moreover when reach to 2600 or higher we are put against max SLS and 370Z etc

I don't like it. The same as I have never liked silver lightning, I'd prefer not to see those unreal cars in the game. They completely do not fit with all other cars if you asked me
Definitely Ultimate Aero XT isn't faster than Venom GT on Barcelona. With Venom GT in season 9 I have got 59.960, and my current personal best on Aero XT cup is 1:00.255 (5º): http://youtu.be/XHHKMCF5duE Of course fuel system is a problem to get a better time, but seems really hard to get under 1 minute with this car, at least on Android hehe
