Hopefully this little visit turns into a full on return It's faster to jump over the water and bridge, especially if you do it at a low angle. I can't speak on unboosted but I can on boosted. At the start, I go on the road and not the ramp. This depends a lot on the car you are using and it's nitro characteristics. For example, the 599xx can perfect nitro from the start all the way through the blue bottle to the curved ramp down the road. That's how my start on Dubai is, if the car has good enough nitro to reach the curved ramp because it works for me.
Can one master that huge ramp???...its the most unpredictable one in the game so far...half the time I find myself overspinning and then crashing and the other times I crash straight into the bridge itself, its a risky one. I always take it regardless though seems shorter
For me so far only used the Mini, i take the first ramp up and all the way to the curve ramp and straight and make a sharp right turn(Devil's Turn), and off the huge ramp. U might wanna try flat spin, as sometimes it lose control and overspin then crashed. Afterwards the the right path(blue nitro) and used the lower split road and off the ramp to the top path and the round road and off the finishing line. Yup is the season 9, the Camaro car. Mind if i upload the screenshot? LoL, never take those tailgaters easily. Westminister map have lots of corner to overtake others
Not to overlook there is a road somewhere in the middle of the spin, may crash if done it in a low angle
I'm definitely aware. I do a perfect or almost perfect ramp jump about 90% of the time when I actually try to.
Ooooh, the Camaro event! I was so focused on the new Dubai tracks, I didn't think of that one at all — I had just run that once to get my 5 stars and the 30k credits that came with them. And the Audi R8 event has very similar lap times. Anyway, sure, upload your screenshot. I just might give it another try and see if I can match your lap. (EDIT: Done.)

Welcome back! If you're looking for stuff to explain, how about giving us some details about how division cups work? I, for one, don't understand them at all. Here's what confuses me: I just ran the F-Type cup on a lark, with zero boosters and a single tank. I made a couple of mistakes along the way, I achieved a mediocre time (1:13:something), but I ended up at position #1 in my division somehow — the #2 car is more than a second slower than I am. How did I end up with a loser group like that? It's not even a no-boosters group exclusively. There are boosted cars in there, they're just inexplicably slow.
I'm pretty sure the divisions are made up when 1000 people finish the event, so it just comes down to when you play the event because some of the good people might not play at the same time as you did, causing you to be in a division with the people who played around the same time you did and aren't that good. Personally, if I was in your division, I would be overjoyed because that's basically a free car to me. Unfortunately in my group, I have a guy with 1:08:5xx, so good competition, but not the best chances to win the car.
This makes sense to me on how it works. Man that would be a bunch of separate cups to track for GL though....
I was under the impression that the "1000" referred to the top 1000 MP players; I thought this was an exclusive cup for us. That's why I was holding out on trying the cup; I didn't want to put up a mediocre time since Dubai Reverse is still a work in progress for me. But since the majority of the really good players have already played the cup at this point, I guess I'll try tonight.
On the alternate track The Rose of the Desert, we're supposed to run it completely straight, and not take the sharp right turn like on the normal Dubai track?
