Dubai track is a nice addition, not having frame rate issues at the moment. Nice awards for maxed cars and cool we can choose race distance. Not sure what the split leaderboard deal is yet. Certainly don't know quick way around new track ... yet.
Pretty good for new players. Me, nah. Good addition nonetheless. The Dubai track is really hard with traffic. I assume without it, it won't be as hard since there is a ton of traffic on the map. Season 9 is really good for new players. There is a problem with a lot of the pictures on certain events. Like the event will say Barcelona but it'll have Tokyo in the background. That's really small and irrelevant though but just there to point out. Streaming is extremely laggy which I assumed it would be.
Haven't played yet, but kudos to Gameloft for letting us vote on the number of laps. I think that's an excellent change, but we'll see if anyone ever votes for anything but a single lap. One thing I'm not particularly happy about is that some of the events in season 9 require $$-only cars. So I'll never have all stars again, but if that ends up being the worst thing about the update, then we got off easy this time. (Yea, I know that feeling, Dark-Zero.)
Downloading bad day to have slow internet i hope this update wont carry a single car that costs $99.99
Actually in my opinion the update is quite nice except for the new lap System in MP,which isn't that good, because I don't like to Race 2 laps in Tokyo for example...
What's the name of the new season if its not Dubai i predict it will be the next title of the next asphalt game
I agree about the $$ only cars thing. Minor problem for me though. If I'm being honest, I was expecting something bigger in the improvement department for multiplayer. We might not ever see the multiplayer we once enjoyed One thing to really applaud Gameloft on is the quickness of the update. Big console games tell you about the update weeks/months before it's released. Gameloft drops info about the update within one week of its release. Good, I'm a very impatient person. I haven't tried it yet but I don't have a problem, especially if playing with someone from the community. Longer racers requires more skill unless it's a blow out, then the extra laps become tedious. It's called "Beyond".
Yeah, a couple. Tournament wise, Hector and Public Enemy (they both remind me of how good Turbo used to be at tourneys). They are worthy competitors. Multiplayer wise, Lucian (even though he's been here), EBC. I haven't really seen any other people in multiplayer in a while besides Bird (which he is obviously up there in the higher ranks, skill wise, in multi)
Well, nothing like Le Mans 24 Hours or Daytona's 500 miles, but you can select to race more than one lap 2, 3. I only got a chance to run two races before getting to work and I don't do the season events. One thing, I don't see the new track in the Quick Solo race section. Would be nice to log some laps there especially for us slow learners. I'm noticing (at least one poster) complaints about running more than one lap in MP. Not sure we have to complain about everything. I think this update shows GL lads have been listening to some extent.
Well! Like I said... Dubai Track is a kind of mix between London + Monaco It won't be my favorite track for sure! On next Update I expect New Tracks like Nevada or Alps!
Thanks Dark! FINALLY I'M REVIVED in MP!!! Raced 2 race in Dubai!! Awesome graphic without lag-ness! So far, was a good update. And screenshot this!!
Hey Fabien, the dev team did not fix the bug in the fuel system, now players are only using 1 box of fuel instead of 5 on the Ultimate Aero Cup and the Jaguar Cup
