Whoa, as soon as I hit the 2,630 points mark last night, I started getting matched consistently with maxed Nissan 370Zs, some with two boosters. MP has suddenly become a lot harder.

Could one of you super-car experts tell me if there's a chance that one of these 5 new cars will be faster than the Hennessey Venom (based on real-life performance results)? I've finally got over 3 million credits, but I won't be buying it until I'm certain that there isn't going to be an even faster car added to the game.

Did you need to do the quick slide at 1:18 (for nitro) or was there another reason? And still can't believe all those jumps before the tunnel (on elevated level) is the way to go, but looks like it.
The Venom is faster (by 5 mph) at baseline than the Tuatara, but the Tuatara has better acceleration (1.83 vs. 1.98). so, I would choose the Tuatara if I had to pick. With the right skill you'll be off the start line quicker and should be able to beat most average drivers to the powerups. It's definitely not always about having the fastest car!
I think there's a sale now on the venom, but there isnt the x% off thing. Although it's now 2,500,000 credits to buy

Yes that was me, I used to be called Your_ranking_is_worthless after I burnt my ranking down to 760 after the game got ruined by hackers with infinite nitro. My son decided to copy it but for some reason he hates L'Oreal. The use to be a mini driver called F%$k OFF, I always made sure I took him out

I do understand why you use them in tournaments. Back when I still took tournaments seriously, I used all the boosters I could get as well. Turbo 343 and Dark-Zero (or at least one of them) were usually a little faster than me, but I was up there, and I won the cars. So yes, I know what that's like, but I've grown tired of tournaments, and the fuel system was the final straw for me. That's why I'll pass on your challenge. Still, I agree that using the extra tank in tournaments is mandatory, if you're trying to win, and it doesn't do much harm there, because tournament rewards provide the boosters you need in other tournaments. But I maintain that the extra tank is ruining multiplayer. These days, it's hard to differentiate between really good multiplayer racers and mediocre extra tank jockeys. The easiest way for me to solve that problem is to ignore those who got where they are with the help of their extra tank. See, this is where we disagree. In my opinion, being fast isn't (or at least wasn't) the main aspect of multiplayer. Multiplayer is often like a game of chess, and more so when you're in a slow car and starting from the back of the grid. Just like Dark-Zero said, fast lap times are irrelevant in that context. In fact, sometimes it's a good idea to slow down on purpose in multiplayer. In other words, tournaments and multiplayer used to be fairly different games. Before the introduction of the extra tank, most people were either good in one or the other. All those fast lap kids only started to climb the multiplayer ranks when the extra tank made it possible to look at multiplayer as a game of fast laps. You certainly seem to think of it that way, and maybe you even prefer it that way. I, on the other hand, mourn the intricacies of multiplayer racing that are fast becoming irrelevant. I've been in the top 5 both in multiplayer and in a bunch of tournaments. I don't like the word elite, but I'd say that makes me one of the more successful Asphalt players.

Well, I think we have place for one more Lambo, more than that would make the garage feel too crowded: Urus, Gallardo, Sesto and Veneno + one extra is already a good number, don't you think? For me, I'm quite hyped for the Biome. The only thing that scares me is if it ends up falling under the Mercboat category like the other Mercs. I'm OK if it handles like the SL (I am kinda used to how it drifts), but not if it works like the rest. It looks very nice too. I hope it gets excellent nitro stats to compensate for its top speed. That way, I can play online with it while only worrying about the random factor of S-class racing.
