I have done 51.745 in Alps reverse with Venom GT and almost a perfect lap I think: http://youtu.be/3i8BnL9dteo The best time on Chrysler event here is 51.212. How is possible this difference? Really I know, the Venom's acceleration sucks xD In Barcelona with only 9 seconds more (approx), Venom is faster. But seems that this track is for the ME412... Edit: OK, I understand now. Chrysler vs Venom cup is duel mode, only 1 opponent hahaha
Ugh, I just can't beat 1:05 non boosted with the p1 in Barcelona, I'm stuck at 1:05:122. Has anyone beat that yet?
I'm pretty sure you're one of the only players on this forum who races in tournaments without any boosters. I fully understand not wasting an extra tank on these crappy events, but why place yourself at such a disadvantage by not even using a tuning kit and nitro starter?
Because the game has changed and, for example, you no longer get free double-credits as rewards, it can be tough earning enough credits to purchase and upgrade cars. If you like the game, you've either got to pay for credits or earn them. Most folks here have earned them by playing lots of long hours days in just about everyone's case. First off, the Survolts in the MP races you're running usually don't run with the two credit-purchasable upgrades. So, if you always race with them in your Camaro, you'll likely have less problems. If you just want to have fun, learn the tracks, there's no problem sticking with one or two cars until you can afford more. A lot of people here play the Mini Cooper. When maxed, it's hard to beat. So, you're not at a disadvantage there. I've raced with the maxed Camaro, and I don't think it's ever lost. If you upgrade the Survolt, there's not a lot, aside from other better drivers in Survolts, that can beat you. But in that class, someone will likely have the extra tank, which makes it a bit harder to win.
That's pretty good probably 2.5-3 seconds slower than with two boosters. Have you checked your leaderboard to see if there are any unboosted P1s ahead of you. If not, you might be the fastest.
I think doing 1 flatspin is better than doing 1 Barrel roll on that first Ramp (less Airtime) and doing a higher Barrel roll on the Last Ramp is also a Bit faster(i know that, because i've just tested it with many Different Cars).
Ahh ok man thanks!! Anyone else agree that the hit box on the buttons should be a little bigger? It feels as if I keep missing them at times Edit: something along the lines of this? Maybe a bit more of a cut on top of the nitro button?
Because I newer than most of you guys, I have maxed only about 11 cars and I'm trying to save up for the Hennessey when it goes on sale. I don't like spending boosters and especially on a small event that I could potentially get the top prize without boosters. I got 1:04:854 anyways so I'm good. Besides, on Android, its pretty easy to get top 50 with no boosters, so using boosters just neutralizes the credit prize. I only use all boosters on big events. It doesn't matter, I managed to get 1:04:854 in the tournament, and I have the fastest non boosted time in Android Canada By the way Oscar, you can change where the nitro and brakes are on that setting if the nitro button is too low for you or something
I keep missing it too. I'd love for then to expand the area of sensitivity a little. BTW does this glitch happen to you guys too? http://www.twitch.tv/ebc482/c/4908296
Yeah but theres no option to make the buttons bigger or make the hit boxes bigger. It'll be cool & helpful if they add this in a future update Anyone have some youtube vids posted up of them racing? I really want to get good at this game. I think I've learn which routes to take on all the maps already, now I just need some general racing tips. Thanks! Also what exactly is the difference from pressing the nitro 3x's & doing a perfect nitro. Does the perfect nitro last longer?
Yes perfect nitro lasts longer but triple nitro gets you to your top speed faster. SO if you know you have more than enough nitro to last you till you can generate more (going off a ramp or nitro bottles) you want to use triple. If not then perfect is the way to go. That is a very good time, I do the events without boosters all the time as it is a challenge to get under the time limit, and the prizes aren't worth anything if you spend the same amount to get them. In the uk there are quite a few good drivers doing the same on the low level competitions so you have a separate comp to be the best unboosted
Not sure when it kicked in, maybe around the 2,345 rank mark, but six out of seven times got the dreaded = after wins. Good thing is, we're not losing 10 points for finishing second. Only lose four or so — depending on rank of winner. Also, probably been this way a long time, but some of the other cars can be well over 100 points higher. Even had a little trouble holding off the Survolts in the Mini they were ranked so high. Add the tuning kit and extra nitro and it was a chore.
Do you get high ranking minis any more? This is exactly why I stopped chasing ranking points, it is just not fun unless it is competitive. Go and use a maxed Survolt, you don't get Survolts unless they are driven by high ranked drivers.
No, you are certainly correct. There aren't usually many high-ranking Minis. And yes, the Survolt is nuts. It's not quite as hectic as running a top S-Class ride, but it can get wild. Lots of fast action. Problem is, if you do care a zip about rank, you should go with all three boosters or risk getting smacked down on a regular basis. The oddest thing is seeing cars with the extra tank and the other non-nitro upgrade. It's like time ran out on the nitro and they forgot to check. That's got to hurt.
I was watching someone stream the game on Twitch. Apparently nitro starters and tuning kits are back as rewards for win streaks?
