As some of the Asphalt 7: Heat fans will surely have recognized already: The yellow double-arrows in the tracks are gone. They gave a short (but intense) tempo boost when you drove through them. They showed up first in A6. And in A7 it was possible that an opponent took away those arrow signs right in front of you. They showed up again within a second (or within a part of a second). This was crucial when it came to splits of seconds in local multiplayer duels. But the nitro bottles were persistent in A7, they never disappeared. In Asphalt 8 the nitro bottles are behaving like the yellow double-arrows in A7: When someone drives through them, they'll disappear for the split of a second. So the leader has an advantage. For lessening that advantage effect in A8: Sometimes (mostly?) there are more bottles across the street (two, three or four), so if you guess it right what bottle the car in front of you will catch, you can catch another one at almost the same spot. Some kind of additional strategy/tactic. The yellow arrows in A6 and A7 were rare and solitaire (as well as the nitro bottles—never more than one across the street). Btw a yellow nitro bottle contains at least the double amount of nitro than a blue one. This didn't change. Some more facts in Asphalt history: In A6 the (very hard) cop chases were gone, in A7 the motos. In A8 the money and "glory" bonus elements (those I don't miss at all). And the yellow double-arrow tempo boosts. And the co-driver lady (female voice acting). But we have the ramps now.
Yeah, so you criticize people that want to go from an ipad 3 to an ipad 5, when you yourself went from an ipad 3 to ipad 4 so quickly. Makes sense.
It's not so absurd: You get the most money for your used iPad when you sell it early (within two years). This is very unlike to all other computer caboodle and guilty for all Apple devices because they are sturdy and will still be updated with new iOS versions for a rather long time. It's not so expensive to upgrade Apple devices—much cheaper than other computer stuff. I sold already three or four of my iOS devices and it was always easy. You don't even need to sell it via eBay. Just tell it to your friends and they will buy (I always got the current second-hand-prices from the ended auctions @ eBay) and everybody will be happy. Or you have a nice birthday gift for your loved ones (I never will understand that a five years old kid needs a brand NEW iOS device). Sorry for half off-topic. But Asphalt always runs best (visually and sometimes even the controls) on the newest hardware and will be updated as the first third-party software when new hardware comes out to deliver all the advantages. I remember well that Asphalt 7 was definitely the very first iOS app (by third party devs) in my "purchased"-list (contains more than 11000 apps) that was updated for the iPhone 5's 16:9 screen.
How do i invite my friends to a race? I thought there was no support for it but i saw an achievement that says knock down a friend and beat a friend in a race.
Man I am having a hard time progressing kind of. I have like 130 stars but am always needing a new car or more upgrades for the cars I do own. I dont have the cash for all of it really.
That's where quickplay came to help you get some extra cash. Now you gotta play multiplayer or grind out the older tracks I've one a few events where I have an underrated car go against higher rated ones. Nitro.
So looks like we cant play multiplayer together gameloft_ryan is there any possible way to play with friend without using local multiplayer . An answer would be nice . @gameloft_ryan I bought asphalt 8 in day one !!! It was worth the wait and money !! Loving it so far , love the tracks , cars , music and everything about it !! By far my favourite gameloft game , my favourite ios game !!!
Just for those curious about the Corvette C7 in game. It rocks. It looks fantastic but its got great grip and holds a drift extremely well. Its very controllable. Its outright speed is not off the charts but the sheer grip makes up for it. Engine could do with a meatier sound if anything. Its still fast but I was racing the Veneno just before it and that thing is just phenomenally fast. @Amenbrother. Just choose wisely when buying cars. Don't bother playing the events that require a certain car until later on if you have yet to buy that car. I've 266 stars and in the middle of series 5 but I've only ten cars so you won't need a lot of cars. I'd have more but I bought a few high end like the Veneno, Audi S4 and now the C7 Corvette. And the highest upgrade on each is level 2. So it can be done just stick to something like the 3rd or 4th car up to class c and you should have no problem. And even at that the Peugeot in class b, the lowest in it, is really good up to series 4 and a few events in 5 with 2 upgrade levels. If it helps, the cars that helped me through cheaply are Cadillac ATS, Merc SLS and Citreon Survolt. I did also get the Audi S4 (best in class to me and well worth it), Lambo Urus (not so good later but a drift demon and it just looks fantastic), Lambo Veneno (its just outrageously fast) and Corvette C7 (fantastic handling). But these are halo cars and if I had to recomend one and one only, it'd be the Audi S4, its a great little earner for me so far. Hopefully some of that helps.
He already said its a very requested feature and that they'll look in to see if adding it in an update is possible. He didn't guarantee anything but they are looking into it.
Hey guys, how much credits do you earn when you finish a OMP match 1st? And does it increase and decrease? Anyone up to do a Flat Spin and Barrell Roll at the same time? I did it yesterday but I don't know how the hell did I do it..
It seems to vary according to the level of your competition and how full the match is. I've only played a few and the racers has varied from 4 to 8 but minimum I got for win was around 700 and the most was 1200. But expect it to vary according to map, type of race, number of people in it and their/your ranking. And then add extra for rolls, nitros, knockouts and so on. There might be other factors and higher payouts for different things but I just haven't put enough time in the multiplayer just yet so take it only as the little of it that I've seen so far and it could have inaccuracies.
Actually, the game does NOT always detect when you press break and turn at the same time. You keep saying it does and at the same time makes it clear that you use tilt where there isn't a problem. There is a problem with the drifting when using touch controls. Whether its to do with the Nitro and break button being too close together and we may be pressing Nitro when intending to brake, or the game just not registering the move for other reasons, the issue remains.
Is the graphic engine based off of Modern Combat 4, see a lot of similarities not that it's a bad thing. For those wondering, the 4S has most graphic setting but stuff like blurer motion and dirt on screen aren't available.
