Well, I got the 80 000 credits and finished 37th overall. They didn't remove ANY of the hackers from the leaderboard. Nice one, Gameloft. Have you just given up on policing your own game?
Whether it's at the Olympics or just in gaming, the Chinese seem to really have a thing for cheating.
Who was French or English before during the European Cup is turned Indian again for the Supreme Cup, as I predicted. What's going on Gameloft? And I'm not sure all of those Hennessey are legit.
Could you please investigate the user(s) Sky Carefly on the current Canadian leaderboard? I'm pretty sure he's using different accounts to participate in various tournaments. I saw a user with that same name, but a different flag, on the Ultimate Cup leaderboard.
Why is the Monaco part closed already ? It wasn't available last night and has already finished this morning.
It still seems odd that Monaco is out before even three hours into the 4-5 day event. It's probably a glitch though. As for the Henessys, I'd rather not talk about it. The Ultimate Cup sure feels close to the early days of the Asphalt 8 tournaments. A nice touch I'd say.
Hennessey is gonna start producing the venom f5. More that 1000bhp per tonne, all carbon fiber bodywork, and a theoretical tops peed of 290mph which they want to prove. Say whattttt
The Monaco event is now open again. I would be completely fine with Gameloft creating a whole seperate game economy for the Chinese players. I'm getting sick of seeing them top all the leaderboards and seeing Chinese characters in the top names in countries around the world. Most of them probably cheating anyway. I don't think there is much Gameloft can do expect ban a few every now and then. IP bans and device bans are easily dodged anyway. To actually fix the ways that people can cheat it probably is a deeper rooted problem that requires a lot more work or even a completely new engine or continued contact with the Gameloft servers. Lots of progamming and no easy fixes available or Gameloft would have done that by now. Gameloft already did a good job making it hard to enjoy the game, the huge increase in cheaters might be the final straw for me.. Just did a rough quick count and there are like 40ish Hennessy's in the top 100, and I counted just the people with a Chinese flag or Chinese characters in their name..
I can't stop thinking that one of these influenced the other (the arrival of fuel system, extra tanks, and decreased tuning kit and full nitro tank made more people want to cheat). And that's probably being paranoid, but I think they make a loop if we add the fact that more players are quitting the game.
I think they are connected yeah. I can imagine something along the lines of "if Gameloft doesn't give me the gaming experience I want, I'll make sure myself that I can get the closest thing to it"
I honestly think this game needs more street/tuner/muscle cars. It has wayyy too many exotics/luxury and they just keep piling up. I'll list some cars that most will be familiar with. Toyota Supra Nissan Skyline (not the same as the GTR we already have) Dodge Charger SRT8 (or R/T) Mazda Rx-7 or 8 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo (both models) Ford Escort MK1 1968 Pontiac Firebird Coupe 1970 Boss 302 Mustang Honda S2000 Another thing that needs to be added is customization. The game is so bland when it comes to that. Some new rims, spoilers, body kits would do well for this Asphalt. Might aswell just post my current wishlist for Asphalt 9 Asphalt 9: - Better grid/placement of racers. The one in A8 is not very good at all. Everyone should have a chance to win which leads to my next thing..... - The removal of pick up nitro in multiplayer. Everyone should start out with 2 nitro bars and should use them efficiently in order to win. - Better customization (unique set of body kits to each car, better color selection,) which has no effect on performance. I'm not sure if we honestly need decals/vinyls. Also more car viewing angles (like cockpit view; I don't like it but some do) - Wider range/variety of cars. Not just exotics and luxury cars. Where's the muscle? - Higher difficulty of maps. - 2-3 seasons for each car class - Better social aspect revolving around friends list, stats, comparable stats, private matches. Social and competitive multiplayer. Better player stats (like some that have been listed in this thread already) and multiplayer playlists (instead of voting on gametypes since Classic is picked atleast 70% of the time). Modes like Sprint, tag team relay racing, drifting, drag, etc should be added. - A ranking system in competitive multiplayer that matches racers based on skill and online ranking/rating. - Social lobbies with lobby creator's set of rules. - Ability to upgrade cars to highest possible speed in game. It just a better balancing of the cars. Ones that make sense aswell. - An improved fuel system. All I can think of at the moment.

Yup, Chinese characters, and members of Open, Summer, or Sky. Gameloft for sure is on top of this! The office in Barcelona is almost finished working for the day I think, and it is sad to see that they don't even take the time to handle something so obvious.. Multiplayer is also such fun. Take the guy out in the lead, and he ��������ing spawns in front of me???? Of course it was a name that consisted of just 4 rectangles, so Chinese ..
I agree that China should be separate from the Worldwide leaderboards. They are either too good (which I doubt) or they are a alliance of cheaters/modders/hackers. That doesn't go for all Chinese players, but for the dishonest players.
Even the Chinese players that won the Hennessy are suspected IMO. Everybody affiliated to those clans are. They might not have cheated that particular car into the game but most likely abuse the same mechanics (causing unlimited supply of credits, nitro boosters, handling boosters, double tanks, and probably also the fuel tank for the TLEs) to win it. I think a huge majority of Chinese players in the top of the rankings are all cheaters. There might be a few rare exceptions but not many
