Oh bollox I thought you lot were racing Challengers not Cameros ! I get confused by the names of yank tanks. In the challenger you get Maclean mc12 which is hopeless.

Met running bird with Cameros but couldn't get a decent match up as once he was out of nitro booster and the other I was reversed into at the start. Cameros are ok to drive but expensive in terms of MP points as i ended up getting 1318 survolts which are faster and quicker off the line. I would be happy to race them if others from here were in the rooms. I have dropped my ranking to below 2300 and the racing has become better. I am getting minis again an not just noobs in survolts. I think in the 1900s it should be perfect. When I got back over 2300 for a while it was back to the survolts so there does seem to be some sort of barriers when the rooms are being matched up.
For me when it comes to the Camaro, I throughly enjoy it. The handling is good enough, the nitro is top tier. The only thing to worry about is getting knocked out at start. If you are a good driver, you can easily adapt (which I have done). I haven't lost to a Survolt yet in that car. It's not the best car on the game but it's definitely not bad. Very useful. For some other cars, it's more difficult dodging Survolts at start (Mustang, 370z). That takes a lot of skill mixed with a little bit of luck. It just depends on the right map. So I still have faith in the Mustang.
I had a few times blocked by the survolt and some survolt behind me knocked me out, most of the time i could catch up but once in a while i can't. Also Camaro with Extra Tank is overkill!!
Yup, both of those races were pretty anticlimactic. I only noticed that my nitro starter had run out when my car came to a halt, more or less, and you zoomed ahead. I think Public_enemy_number_1 had a good time laughing at me on Twitch. Nevertheless, it's always great to see a familiar name of a good racer in those races. Makes me take the race more serious every time. So aside from the rather pedestrian triple-boost launch, what's a good driver's secret move to avoid getting knocked out at start? Swerve out? I usually do that as well, but when the Survolt in front of me crosses my path and pins me down while I do so, I sometimes feel like I'm out of options. I could delay my nitro and see what they do first, but that comes with its own set of risks. (The knockout is usually served by the triple-boosting Survolt behind me in races like that, not by the one that crosses my path.) — EDIT: Jinx, Lucian! By the way, my experience with the Mini has been similar to Fdvj Nemesis's — the Survolts get significantly harder to beat somewhere between 2350 and 2400 points. I wonder if the same is true for the Camaro, but I can't compare, because I've never tried the Camaro in multiplayer before today.
I'll try that Team Penske prepared Mark Donohue throwback Camaro, but I can't believe it can take down a decent driver in a 1318 Survolt, especially if they triple-boost the start. I've probably played 150 hours of MP in the Survolt and I don't ever remember finishing behind a Camaro. Maybe with some of you Bad-A$$es rocking the Camaro, might be a different ending. ...
This does happen sometimes, not common for me. Actually, I don't triple on start with this car ever unless the turn is almost instant (Buddha's Teachings). I plan out how to dodge based off of my surroundings at start (the countdown) and the map I'm playing. Maps like Barcelona forward will get you killed 9/10. But reverse is a different story. It's about moving completely out of the way just long enough. In a normal race with a normal car, you'll give up 1st place by doing stuff like this or make the match unnecessarily harder. With the Camaro, it's only competition is the Survolt so giving up the start is easy, since Camaro is better (Survolt without boosts; but that's basically what multiplayer is nowadays, cars without boosts, so it's whatever) Better luck next time I hate the color on the car, and the fact that you can't change it. So annoying. Anyway, you might just get kicked off your Survolt guaranteed pedestal. I'm definitely an efficient Camaro player now.

Yeah. Looks like we're on the same page after all. Camaro it is. I'm racing now, but I'd like to switch to the Mini later, because the Camaro hardly ever gets me world series points. (And I like the illusion of progress.) EDIT 1: Losing 9 points by finishing second behind another Camaro that started ahead of you bites. Stupid four car races. EDIT 2: Next race was a two car race. If this keeps up, I'm not going to be using the Camaro for much longer.

This is another clan, i managed to swiftly dodged all cars and race ahead of him/her, drifted for extra nitro to take the Gold bottle but i missed it as the game lag and "phew" too bad for him that he didn't knock me out Running Bird, i'm using Mini now, also i'm gonna sleep soon
He must be projecting. I doubt that a car with a 1674 rating is going to be obtainable with credits. I'm anticipating a $149,99 price tag for it. I've only tried the Hennessey cup without the extra tank so far. Dark Zero, when you set that 1:07.304 last night, did you triple-boost off the line, or opt for the perfect nitro? If I triple-boost, I have to do barrel rolls off both ramps, but with a perfect nitro and some AI knockdowns, I'm able to make it all the way to the second ramp. Which do you (or Hector, if you're reading this) recommend?
So far, this is the fastest run posted online: 1:06.5xx with an extra tank. It won't be fast enough for a top 25 finish.
Dark, as usual awesome race with u, sorry bout the knock down in Barcelona and the China map, i managed to cut in to the side and drift which is dangerous to do so as Camaro isn't good in those extreme turn. Ahh i've done a weird turn in Nevada, and car went straight down to the ground(wreck). Also i realised that i always start behind u. Didn't have a chance to race with Bird using Camaro
