My country setting is Worldwide, and that hasn't changed in months. And just in case it makes a difference, my language setting is English. I saw those rebates both yesterday night and this morning. (I'm in the same time zone Barcelona is in.) The timestamps of my posts about this are pretty accurate representations, as the rebates were still visible when I posted in both cases. As of this moment, the only weird 100% rebate I'm seeing is for the $99.99 credit pack. There's a note at the top that says that the sale will end in 18 days 03:14:07, and that timer hasn't moved since I first saw the rebates. (Update: After force-quitting and relaunching the game, the rebate is gone. I'll let you know when it comes back.) Another thing I noticed is that the red bars that say "100% Off" have weird oblique black lines on the right side, which don't seem to serve a purpose.
I bought the CLK and tried it untuned In MP and it was put up against Sestos which it didn't stand a chance against. I am assuming that will be the case throughout the tune up. It would be great if when the next cycle of cars to be won came through there were cars that were useful in Multiplayer, how about something to beat the minis, an Ariel Atom for example.
We already have a Truck (F-150) and a Bobsled (Silver Lightning) in this game... And you guys want a Formula 1 car? To beat the minis, Audi A2 would be interesting!
If you want we could keep you posted on what tournaments are up. My guess is tonight the new tournament will be 2 day clk gtr torunament since it already became available for purchase with in game cash
After some extensive testing (20+ matches), I found another top tier car. Audi TT Coupe. It's only serious competitor is Survolt, which it beats in most cases (depends on the skill level of the driver using the Audi) from better stats. I'm testing out a few more cars because the Mini still doesn't do it for me.
Now i've changed again, feeling weird having TANO in it. To change just go to the Setting, Game Centre and click on ur Nickname, thats it TT coupe not a bad car, i guess Camaro is another Threat as i raced against Enemy Republic(forgot his name, the current Top 10 MP). Well i still use my Mini everyday
I have also tested it in MP and it isn't good. I also tried the Jag maxed and came up against lykans, so that no good for MP either. I also tried to race my Lykan which is maxed and couldn't even find a single player to join the room!! I waited for 3mins on my own but know one joined! It must have to do with being high ranking and being matched up with cars that are better than yours( which obviously there aren't any) Could you test this Running Bird
Works for me. I entered the room with a maxed-out Lykan (nitro starter + tuning kit), and there were two other cars right away. EDIT: This, on the other hand, doesn't work for me. In the first race I tried, I got out-accelerated by a significantly higher ranked Survolt (which didn't even have a nitro starter), then the nitro bottle gap kept me from catching up. So I got to say bye bye to seven world series points. Granted, this was in Barcelona, which is just too easy a track — I might have been able to catch up on the same car in Nevada or on one of the China tracks. And you said "most cases", so I guess the result I got was to be expected, but I can't stand getting out-accelerated by stupid Survolts.
