Anyone know where Dlusion has gone? He has vanished from the top 100, May be he became Disillusioned and wiped his account. I have to say I was enjoying racing up the rankings with him, but I got to 11 in the MP ranking today and looked to see where he was and his name had vanished.
He's in the 33rd spot with 2,128 points. He's dropped a lot of points in the last few days. I know that he has a habit of racing without the extra tank, which probably has a lot to do with that sudden drop. BeaArthursGhost is still in the top 100 despite deleting his account at least 2 weeks ago, so I don't think that wiping out an account does anything to alter the leaderboard. Dlusion, if you're reading this, come and try the Canadian D-Class Cup. I know you won the Mustang in the last big tournament, so getting in the top 50 is ridiculously easy if you use an extra tank.
Well, I guess he got used to that immigration wave, and now he's inviting more people to the party. Anyway, I've seen some players change their name to 'Elite (insert name here)', and some changing their name color. Is this a new trend or something? Am I getting old too fast?
I found this picture from a guy on Twitter that got a pirated copy of Modern Combat 5, after his app was disabled because of the anti piracy configurating in the servers he contacted Customer Care. Now Gameloft could you please read the 3rd reason for been banned? It say: "Using game bugs and (should be as) exploits to speed up progress, OBTAIN ITEMS OR UNLOCK CONTENT" Well most of chinese players used a bug as exploit 3 weeks ago to get the premium cars spending 2 million credits instead of real money. Also I already said they are using a bug in the cloud data to never run out of boosts as I mentioned on the previous post. So Gameloft...won't you ban them? or which is your logic and yardstick Gameloft? Common Gameloft, common sense please...
So many people are now on the Canadian leaderboards that I know for a fact shouldn't be here. Just leave us be. We only accept a certain amount of people per year lol. But honestly. Wayyyyyy to many people came over. Like it seems people just contacted customer service and ask to switch and they are automatically switched then.
Has anyone here achieved a sub-1:10 time in the Alps with the Mustang? What do you do at the part with the side-by-side curved ramps? Do you execute a few tight barrel rolls, or do you drift off of one of them at an angle to do a bunch of flat-spins, thus filling up both your nitro bars? I was doing the latter, and found that it gave me sufficient nitro not to require doing a barrel roll on the curved ramp after the tunnel. Currently my time is 1:10.455, but the Open guy in first place has a 1:09.783, so he's probably doing something a bit more efficient.
One new clan that's popped up on the Canadian leaderboards is "Iron." By the way, I like Nemesis's new username ("Open Lee Che Ting").
Not on the TLE, but on practice I got a 1.086XX by doing a flat spin off the left curved ramp it was very fast an low and filled the tank but had minimal air time. also you need to triple off the start and miss all the AI
Nah. Even at his level, it's actually pretty easy to gain world series points without the training wheel tank, thanks to the new way points are distributed. But that distribution change is also why a lot of veterans have dropped in the leaderboards they've simply been overtaken by new players who are taking the opportunity to gain points faster than the veterans ever could. On a related note, I'm currently having some fun on multiplayer with my Mini, after a long hiatus. So if you want to win some easy world series points, come at me unless you use that stupid extra tank, of course.
But if you triple off the start, you'll run out of fuel before reaching the ramps, right? Do you drift at some point before getting there? I missed all of the AI as well, but I started with a perfect nitro and never drifted at all until reaching the ramp. I didn't manage to get those low/crazy flat-spins like you did, though in my best run I easily cleared the small platform and landed back on the asphalt road. A 1:08.6xx would put you in the lead here by over one full second, even over guys like "Chinese 917" who are usually near the top in worldwide tournaments. You should try posting a video, because I have to see that run, or one just like it!
Well, I'll have to disagree with you on that point. Dlusion was in the 2,200s just a couple days ago, and now he's lower than he ever was before. So clearly something drastic happened to his rating - likely a series of epic defeats at the hands of much faster cars, or Mini Cooper drivers with extra tanks who knocked him down. Ha, if you see me in the lobby one of these days, I'd advise you to get out, as chances are very high I'll be using that training tank.
I just got my new mercedes clk currenzly I'm maxing it out (it's very expensive) but I'm just so happy about that haha
I stand corrected — it seems I never looked at the leaderboard during his >2200 stint. And who knows, 2200 points may be a barrier of sorts. I'm currently at approximately 2180 points, so I'll find out soon. ...and I really mean soon, because I can't believe how easy it has become to advance in the world series. Case in point: I just got a world series point from winning a three cars race, and that hasn't happened in a looong time. (I then lost four points to a mediocre training wheel jockey named Douglas1359, who always starts in front of me, but that's the cost of doing business, I guess.) -- EDIT: Another second place against another extra tank loser named 060362, who missed half of the nitro tanks and still won: -9 points. Ugh. Yeah. If the extra tank didn't make you faster, why would anyone use it? But as long as you can't buy the extra tank with credits, I'd rather lose a couple of races (or stop playing) than become part of the problem.
I found a sub-1:10 video. 1:09.566. He doesn't do any wild flat-spins from the ramp, and uses a weird bounce off the side of the bridge at 0:55.
I also race in the daily tournaments, so the extra tank is necessary for me to be able to put a fast-enough time to win the cars they occasionally give out. I'm certainly not a cup expert like Turbo 343, and after I've run a track a bunch of times I often find out that I wasn't taking the most efficient way (as I've once again found out by watching Midiol's The London Eye Lykan video; after the small jump/shortcut, I was taking the gold bottle/left path instead of the faster right path). I remember that Douglas1359 player. I used to race against him all the time in my Dodge Dart 4-5 months ago.
In China there are more videogame players than people living in the US (source gamesinasia) so see Chinese players almost ever in first places don't surprise me. @Ryan &Fabien: I hope you didn't forget the W8 players, we have a lot cheaters even in our leaderboards/TLE's. P.S. I can't get low 1:13 in the D-class cup with a full boosted 370Z,too bad
I micro drift the first corner and then perfect to the ramp. That time is in VS mode so you start at the front of the grid which doesn't compare to the TLE . I have only had 3 runs on the TLE and didn't get the perfect start or the perfect crazy flat spin of the the ramp. I have also had some success with flat spinning up to the bridge from the ramp which allows you to run to the end on full nitro
Elite is a new team that we have created among various players, I knew they in youtube and google+. Stuparu Catalin offered me through my Youtube channel and I accepted, it is only for fun, no extra activities or similar hehe Yep, I have made 1:09.429, and I recorded it http://youtu.be/WwWejhUst0s
