That is what plagued A7 multiplayer. It was basicslly the one that spammed nitro the most wins. A8 has my god, so many different ways to take it's unbelievable. I love it. I like how you can win 5 stars per each event, since after I got all the stars in A7, 441, my OCD got a bit irritated. Now it's all better. I MUST GET ALL THEM STARS.
But you can't chose as you will. The songs were really good for me in NSF. I want them to do the same. You can change the song so you don't have to listen to one only. I would a playlist is a good idea.
I watched videos of this game on Ipod 4G, and all of them show that there's no online multiplayer, like I said some pages ago. Is this a bug? Because I think Gameloft should at least say it in the description, I bought the game and it misses a key feature (I know it doesn't perform well on ipod 4, but they should warn us in the description it misses online multiplayer)
Ah, missed that. Thank you, I appreciate the heads up. EDIT: Although yes, I agree being able to hear a random selection from all these, or using whatever MP3s we've got on our device, would be great. (I'd actually like the option to hear all the menu music in-game too, but that's probably just me.)
I'm sure this has been covered, but it was frustrating to see that the App Store shows the file size at 884 mb, but when I check in settings it's showing 1.4 gb.....had to delete in order to install.....sounds like that's not the only thing Gameloft was shady about, based on the above comment....
If by "covered" you mean "How come you don't know that just about every iOS app installs to twice the size it says in the description on the App Store?" then yes, it's been covered. Seriously, the game's not perfect, but that part's hardly Gameloft's fault.
I can see why one can't obtain every single car in the game without having to play multiplayer. In A7 one could gain some extra cash playing Quick Race, and here it doesn't give one credits in Quick Race. Something I don't mind.
Widescreen adds a lot to racing games and the feeling of things rushing past you, and I think it's easier to see everything in quick glances on a smaller screen then on an ipad, that's how I feel about it after playing on my ipad 3 and iphone 5.
Yeah, doesn't bother me. The multiplayer seems fairly stable - I've only had the odd bit of lag/cars flickering on and off, and nothing that robbed me of a podium finish or anything like that. I don't think the game should be handing me cars on a plate, but I'm continually finding myself stuck for something new I can actually win more than one or two new races in... but like I said before, even if the game is grindy (and I guess many of you don't agree) I don't mind when the "grind" is actually fun.
Cloud sync seems broken. Anyone had any luck with it? I played a bunch on my iPad last night and today my phone only sees a "new" user as my cloud data.
Ah, I just got it to work...somehow. Definitely not as seamless as PvZ2 is though, their cloud save is super slick.
Hey, too bad we can't play true mp to find out who is better, but how are your ghost times compared to kj's?
