It doesn't apply just to D class cars but if your rank is high you will get cars that outmatch you, at least with the slower cars you have more of a chance at getting back. The other alternative is just to go for a Lykan but MP races in S class are a Wreck fest unless you getaway clean.
I havent race in S class since it went to one lap.

Ps if you want to race more than one lap vote for elimination It usually get you at least two laps.

That's the trick. You have to stay on the ground as much as possible and handle those curves very well. Like Hector said, he missed a few triple nitro spots here and there. Also, try to stay closer to the wall when exiting the big curve near the mandatory ramp. Other than that, I don't see what needs to be improved.

You too? Who are you rooting for? I'm with VG.

No one, never heard of the game until last night. The only game I've ever played is A8, but I love the big prize money concept. This could be the future of sports. ... So we all need to pay attention.

In Korea, gaming for big sums is already a thing. They even get their own TV channels.

I always race with the nitro starter and tuning kit, even if I'm just racing my ghosts in regular season mode. I only activate my extra tank if I know I can commit 4 full hours to the game; when I'm using that booster, the Mini is really the only car I use.

It's just not feasible to use the ATX anymore, since the maxed Minis they put me in with also always have at least two boosters. That "better players with bad cars will face faster cars" notion is total bunk, as a 1,400-ranking player with a faster car than me is not a beginner in any way, even though I have 500 points more than him. Just another thing broken about this game, designed by people who aren't even good players.

To reiterate: make it mandatory to use a maxed car in MP. They already have that requirement for certain cups, so why not in MP?

With the OPENs, WINTERs, SUMMER's working in groups to do pretty darn well in TLEs, is it time for community on this board to adopt a similar strategy, organize and create one-uniform unit with the goal being better performance and support for the group? We do that to some degree here, but certainly not that organized and we could certainly introduce some new elements/strategies. To do it, we'd really need the leadership of R.B., Zero, B.A.G. Turbo, etc.

In terms of strategy, I'm not sure if there are still many unknown to us at the moment. It's true that they're doing well, which is mostly the result of hundreds of times of grinding. Fuel system limits that in a way, but with multiple accounts, you can still get as many tries as you want.

So the biggest problem at the moment IMO is still those multiple account users (with a majority of them from these "teams"). They have their accounts populated all over the top spots. It is nice to see Gameloft is starting to take actions against them, but they can still manage to come back with backed-up save data. It would be great if Gameloft can find a way to ban them all at once.

Well on that front, sounds like one of our tenets would be to agree to play by the rules and, as a group, do our best to get GL to forcefully go after multiple account users.

I agree, I every honest player would actively react on spotted cheaters, it would be much more efficient and easier for GL to fight them... I think.

And really I don't understand what's the problem to permanently ban cheaters accounts? Every account should have its unique id which should be checked on game launch, or at least on joining multiplayer and TLEs. Apart from that GL should block/ban a device on which cheaters account would be identified so they couldn't create any more accounts at all...

For the people wondering how the chinese players never run out of extra tank, there is a bug in the cloud data, they just simply save a local progress in one device, then they play the event or play multiplayer on another device, once the server sync with the time you set on the events or you got your new raiting on multiplayer, they use the backup from the 1st device again, that way they never run out of any boost.

As others mentioned, some chinese clans like Open, KB and Summer are copying the local file that saves the player progress, then they duplicate the file and send them to other players by email or cloud storage services, once those other players receive this file they move it to the right root in the game files.
This is how people are getting the premium cars without paying real money.
And this is a another vulnerability in the game that Gameloft need to fix.

By the way some chinese players already got the Hennessey Venom GT, here is the proof: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNzQ0MDMyMTYw.html?x

    Way to go Gameloft...

This is something they need to fix and fast. Otherwise, GL will lose a lot of potential customers and they know it.
Also, while they already unlocked the Venom GT, we can see it on the bright side and have an insight of what's it's capable of. But that's still a bad thing to do, nevertheless.
Anyway, the Venom GT has a good handling and decent nitro duration, but I think that its accel is a bit too slow. I'll have a better feel of it when the tournament comes.
Anyway, this save file problem shouldn't be ignored, as it will be a nuisance not only to us players, but to the A8 dev team as well.

Thanks juanenrique for the v.youku Link.
Thanks to the Chinese Thief to show me that car in first hand.
Thanks to Gameloft to choose one more horrible car for the game.

    ;)

Is the CLK-GTR the top 5 prize in the new Class D Cup? I see 500,000c prize but I'm curious if it's different for those who don't have the car.

No, it's the Jaguar. Anyone that doesn't own a Mustang (i.e. a lot of the real Canadian users on iOs) is going to be mad! I just hope that the majority of the foreign crowd that came around to win the Mustang in the last tournament doesn't return. That might just be wishful thinking.

It's refreshing to see a D-class tournament with good rewards for a change. There's been far too much S-class worship on the part of the developers for my taste.

I own a Mustang, and I'm mad that it's not another car. I like my P1 so I don't need the C-X75 (unless somehow its boosted stats are higher than the P1's). And looks like some leaderboard shenanigans have been pulled again, since my leaderboard is the worldwide one. Seriously GL, why do you need to favour UK and Canada that much? You're not helping with the country-switching issue at all.

    level down

Hi. I have not touched asphalt 8 for almost a month (or even read here) after the boredom took over me. So I come back to play a lil' a8 again but when I looked at my profile it said I'm level 0! My xp is stuck 0/190 after 10 online races, and the money I make for even coming in 1st is destitute (less than 100 coins!) ! I'm wondering wtf is going on !

Contact Gameloft support. Tell them what happened. If you have an ss from.before provide them it'll probably make it faster for them to deal with it. They'll probably fix it up

I've heard from the other users on this forum that for some reason Canada has gotten better prizes with easier cutoffs. Do you think it's a glitch or is it intentional? If it was an intentional choice on Gameloft's part, I wonder what purpose it serves.

They said they were testing different prizes in different regions. I personally thought it was a glitch but I'm happy to be rewarded handsomely for being a kinhearted welcoming Canadian ;P

I see, so they're basically running some experiments and looking at player data. It's good to be Canadian...and good time to switch to Canada.....I'll be applying for a Visa with Gameloft customer service tomorrow :p Just kidding.
