Don't you think, giving the ff to the top 500 was just a writing mistake? But they couldn't change it anymore.
I feel like a really unlucky guy... first was the mustang TLE where I came 6th with no prize (only for top 5) and now the SLS, where I got a time 0.50.589 and was leading most of the day. But didn't have time later to improve it and as it could be easily forseen I finished 2nd and again one place afer the main prize :/
Well I hope your luck turns around. I know how it feels to come second. Worst feeling ever. You'll get those cars next time!!
Help please? I can't seem to string together the best route for the FF cup, its handling is dreadful and you only get 2 chances every 2 hours that only 4 chances per double tank. I have found that the Challanger has similar handling to practice with but its nitro is better.
Well, the FF's handling is horrible and its acceleration is bad as well, making you lose a lot of time for every mistake. 5 fuel per race doesn't let room for lots of mistakes either. You really have to get used to this car's handling before using an extra tank, but since you get one back from another tournament, 2 from the MC5 tournament, and (hopefully) 2 from this one, don't feel bad about wasting one. Since I won't post videos of my times (yet), could you help me discovering what's wrong by telling me how you handle the race, as well as your time?
I feel the same way. In the first tournament, I just missed the Merc GTR. I was disappointed then the tournament yesterday for top 1 gets the SLS final edition, I tried my hardest but only got 6th. Then I wake up to this.... Won this car as well, Gameloft "weeded" out the cheaters again.
Here my 1:35.998 in FF Cup. http://youtu.be/FoXR9aB-bM4 Of course can be improved, but is a really clean lap Also I could have tried a triple nitro in some sites
What the hell have they done to MP? Why am I now facing cars that have 80 to 100 rating points more than mine? I was racing with my Dodge Dart (778) on the London track, and lost to someone with a Mini Cooper that was rated 861 (all three boosters too). My opponent went about a 1:49.xxx; even if you execute a perfect race, the Dart doesn't have the capacity to achieve that time in London! Yesterday I also met TANO for the first time in MP, and I destroyed him, but it wasn't a fair match because he was racing an Audi (821) and I had a Cadillac XTS (921). His second place finish cost him 10 points, by the way. I'm sure he was saying, "Fxxx this game!" Is anyone else having to deal with unfair matchups all of a sudden? I've just realized that, in the 6 races I ran with the Dart, all of my opponents' had cars with ratings of over 800, which means I was only matched with people using superior ones than mine! Seriously, enough with this garbage. Fix MP so that only maxed out cars can be used. It will also take away the advantages of people like nek0 and Tsujiro, who use unmaxed Minis specifically tailored to beat all other D class car with ratings of under 1000.
MP bug: Opponent's level incorrect When playing MP, on my iOS 5 (7.1.2), I click on a player's name, and get a bit of detail about them. I've noticed that the level is usually set to 1, regardless of their ranking. For instance, yesterday I got to race against a "level 1" Dark Zero, though his current 100th place World Series ranking shows level as 85.
It almost the same as Hectorex uses but taking the outside route and picking up the blue bottle after he does the first flat spin. I wasn't doing any flat spins off the jumps and was on nitro all the way round but was tring to cut the corner round the square tighter and trying to stay tight micro drifting on the second to final long bend
Welcome to the top on hundred. It seems to happen once you get over 1900 and I mostly get Survolts up to 150 points higher than my mini, if any of them new the best routs and could drive well it would be impossible to keep up. The algorithm seems to think this is what you need when your rank gets high enough. I gave up with the ATS as it was giving me maxed minis driven by 1500 + drivers which was hopeless.
Well, I just fell out of the top 100 thanks to the absolutely ridiculous matchmaking. I'm definitely giving up on the Cadillac XTS too, as I was put in a race with three maxed/boosted Mini Coopers, all of which were owned by players ranked above 1,400. I just lost 11 points with a 4th place finish. It's weird. Whenever I start playing MP, I'm usually placed with very weak opposition for my first few matches. It's as if the game can' t "read" my ranking unless I've played for a while. If that's the case, then I will play 2-3 matches, shut off the game, then turn it back on. I'll keep doing so until I regain all of the points I semi-unfairly lost.
Well,it's the same with me I'm currently pushing up very fast, but since I'm at around 1800+ I keep getting matched up with survolts, when I drive with the Camaro or with the mini,I already gave up the ATS/XTS,so that's somehow how it works and I'm fine with that, but it was implemented in the last update:"Better Players, which drive with bad cars,to race against new or unexpirienced players will now have to drive against better cars" So that's the reason
Great job Hector, now you can just sit back for the week and not have to worry about spending extra fuel and boosts on that tournament again.
Are you guys running two of the three boosts at least? That usually helps. Been driving the ATS and while some cars have been over 1000, they run with no boosts and the ATS wins. Sucking at TLEs at the moment but went from 1840 to 1944 in a few days of grinding. I might get one Survolt in 50 races. Also, I have noticed a time or two where the first two MP games trip, with full-blown Minis all boosted out. Right now, watching this Dota2 final $5 million to the winning team.
