I guess with that, boost can also be reused - You can backup your save files, then use boosts in tournaments to have a decent time, then copy back your save file before using the boosts. At all, your time is updated to the server instantaneously, but your saved progress is only done periodically.
Wow, not only this guy is selling his save file for the price of 3 new games/2 games + an used one, but he's also bragging about his victories. I'm okay with people saying they won and being more than proud of it once in a while (I do that often), but if someone shoves that in your face like that guy on Twitch, it gets boring and even frustrating. I may be jumping the gun on this one, but this just ticked me off. Well, I've never really thought about it. I always used other apps to transfer my data because I didn't use cloud saving, and I often changed ROMs on my tablet. Even then, I still use those, because I don't trust cloud saves: you may end up with data from a week ago, therefore losing some progress.
Personally, I'm totally OK with other apps to backup data, but it starts to become cheating when people abuse it (replicating data to other accounts, reuse boosts)
Yeah, if you use it like I do (cause you never know if the cloud has your most recent data), I'm totally fine with it too. But giving people your data only because they don't want to work hard to get to a similar point is wrong. And also, the price for that save file. I could get 3 games that are more worth my time with this money (not saying A8 is or became bad)
Is this so entirely different from when people were selling Flappy Bird-loaded iPads when the creator pulled the game from the app store? We're talking a micro-percentage of A8 players here. And if a new player purchases this and plays MP, won't we gain points by beating him like a rented mule?
Guys I just got back to game after a while! I wanted to ask about the Credit Doibler IAP! Is it for a race or day or permanent! I can't figure it out! It says +1day what does that mean?
It means that once you use it, it's active for a day (read: 24 hours), and you will earn double credits from every race you particpate during that time.

Does the tuning kit affect the mercedez in the event? I don't own it so I'm not sure if it'll work or not
Yep. There was a time when you could earn those from streaks, meaning you had to race a lot in MP (and that was fun, don't get me wrong) to get that. Unfortunately, GL thought that was too generous and decided to remove that. It's probably ban-worth, but it's not really my affair so I'll let the dev team do what they want with that. But yeah, 25$ as a starting bid is only for the desperate ones. It will work on every car you're using while it's active, even rental cars.

The MP update has made it ridiculously easy to move up in the rankings now. I jumped from 1,755 to 1,785 points in a little more than one hour's time, and the highest-rated opponents I encountered were in the 1,300-1,400 range. All I've got to do is play MP for another 4 hours in my Cadillac ATM and I'll likely be in the 1,900s!
Wow, this is the Open player who moved to the America leaderboard and has taken first in almost every event (he stole my mustang away by 1 position)
All the drivers sitting on their positions in the top 100 and not racing in MP will now have to come out and play. This should make things fun again, however it doesn't mean the top spots will be occupied by the best drivers simply by those that play most and have chosen their car well (TANO, N3ko69, etc). It would be great if GL added some type of comp where the top spot was truly dependant on being the best.
1,812 points at the end of tonight's gaming session! I thought I might see Dark Zero, but it looks like he's raised his ranking too, as I can't see him. He must be closing in on the top 100 again. There's only one player below 1,900 in the top 100 now.
Used my last two hour nitro tank tonight...sigh. Still have at least one eight hour tuning kit though. Messed around in MP tonight for a couple of hours. It does indeed to seem to be better. Ran a variety of cars for fun and did pretty well. Also figured out that a maxed/boosted Vantage tends to crush. Probably raced with it 25 times and didn't get first just one of those times. Was happy to see that I could still get a point or potentially stay even for getting second occasionally. Think my worst drop was 6 points for either a second or third place. I was running the A-class RUF for the first time...tough to compete with that thing...at least in the non-maxed version. It's also a bit of an adjustment since it's super responsive in it's handling.
