I'm pretty sure he is talking about the soccer time cup. The prize for the top 10 is a jaguar cx75 if you don't own it. I feel bad but I noticed some people who own the car didn't compete which is nice. I just wish more people would do that. I don't think its fair to take away their chances.....
Yep, that one. And sadly, very few people check if the tournament is actually awarding a car, and even less people have consideration for those who don't have the car. I guess Hector didn't really see this tournament as one who is giving the Jaguar. It makes sense, with the world cup and all.
Yeah, its so very inconsiderate to not check imo especially for such cars where the only way to obtain them is actually spending cash or being lucky and working hard. So as such I wish Gameloft could tell people the top prize is the car but if you already own it money. So like inform
Or something like this: if someone on the top 10 already owns said car, he is awarded money. But the 11th person on the leaderboard gets the car instead. If someone else on the top 10 owns it too, the 12th on the leaderboard gets it, and so forth. That way, all of those who own the car can compete freely, without ever stepping on someone else's way. But that's just too much to ask, right Asphalt 8 devs?

But, thinking about, is possible that I have snatched a car for someone? OMG... the new Merc Benz CLK GTR AMG. Is this a totally bad design rendering or is it really an ugly car. It almost does not belong in A8 and amongst other cars. Looks out of place, almost not worth owning.
Exactly, but if you check my last statement, I doubt they would do it. First, it's hard to decide when to check the accounts: before launching the tournament, while it is active, or during the leaderboards' analysis? (How to check them isn't really a big deal, since cloud storage can help) Second, how to differentiate players who aren't using the cloud storage and have the same numbers (AKA Driver ****) ? (It might be coded in, but if it isn't, that could be a problem) Finally, would GL be kind enough to let us have that feature, instead of making us pay the car pack? Really nice job on the time. I've come to a wall so the video should help me see what I was doing wrong. About the rewards, it was money because you already owned the C-X75. For me, it was the car alright. And about that possibility, yes and no: there were more people who played on the tournament while having the car, making your attempt somewhat irrelevant. But if you remove some of them, then yes you could have snatched someone's chance of getting it (short version: yes you did, but many did too, so there was no chance anyway) Oh well, better luck next time... if there is a next time for it. Anyway, someone tried the CLK GTR? For me, its curving ability is okay, but its drifting capabilities are true to the Mercboat name.
Just completed the career mode. I'm looking for a faster car for the event tournaments and in multiplayer races in general. Which cars would you recommend (if credits are not an issue)?
I know it's gameloft and they aren't gonna ever do such a thing where they would potentially be losing money. But it is a great idea and it would be amazing if they ever do implement it.. As for the CLK GTR I like the car not in game but in real life. In the game I find it wayyy better in the handling department than the SLS AMG GT but mayeb thats because monaco is a wider track (Currently 1:47:8xx without any boosts). It's great that its top 50 finally meaning more people actually get the car and its rank is higher than any othe B Class car and as such I hope it is a really good B Class car.

Correction: Compared to shapeless blobs like the Tuatara, the CLK GTR is an almost ethereal beauty. Seriously though, I guess it's a matter of taste and age. I've always liked the CLK GT, mostly because its real world counterpart, the first-generation CLK, was a design masterpiece in its day. And I think Mercedes did a great job at combining that design with the components that were required to go really fast. I also remember seeing its (less beautiful) successor, the CLR, backflip live on TV in 1999. The tragic nature of an almost perfect car only emphasizes the nostalgic appeal that Mercedes cars from that era have. As for its handling, I actually prefer this car over the Ford GT — unlike most of you, I presume. To each their own.
Mostly the cars you would go for are the highest rated car in each car class. For tournaments: Nissan 370z, Dodge Challenger/Audi RS4, Lamborghini Gallado, Mclaren P1, Lykan/Tuatara. For multiplayer: Mini Cooper, Nissan 370z, Ford 2015 Mustang, Cadillac ATX, Citroen Survolt, Mclaren P1, Lykan/Tuatara.
