Yeah, these fuel tank-decimating "new car" events are completely uninteresting to me, as it's always the Open clan occupying the top positions. I've only raced the Ford GT event a single time (I managed a 1:19.2 in an error-filled run), and I doubt I'll be trying the Jaguar event any more times than that. Three stress-filled runs and then an hour's wait is just not fun, especially when the 7 AI cars that start ahead of you are responsible for all sorts of randomness and chaos. I think GL should consider putting just one AI car in these events so that everyone can have clean, consistent starts. I find it much more fun to play the daily Canadian events and try to beat the times of the Canadian regulars. I currently need to best BeaArthursGhost's time to make the top 5 and get 80,000 credits. I'll give a go, and also try the D-class cup, then if I have any fuel tank bars remaining, I'll try the Jaguar event.
Thanks MazharJ and Turbo 343! That makes me think of another related question. I have been racing my little Dodge Dart in Multiplayer for a while now but I think I'm due for a bit more speed. Question: when (if ever?) do we start receiving S Class (or B or A class, for that matter) rewards when we race Multiplayer?
I'm pretty sure that they used to give away B and A-class rewards a long time ago, but ever since an update from a few months' back, they only give out D and C-class rewards now. Make sure to upgrade (with credits) a bunch of your D and C cars' stats to at least level 4 to make these rewards more worthwhile.
Not a problem. I haven't raced multi in a while but I remember the 9th win streak used to be a universal b class upgrade. From my understanding no a class or s class upgrades are given in multi. Ive never gotten one and I read they aren't there. And to Gameloft. Another absurd tournament. Top 20 really? I'm going to try but its retarded. I want this car so I will work hard but its a stupid stupid tournament like many of the others because of the fuel system. JUST REMOVE IT, its 100x worse than the rent before. At least credits can be earned, those extra fuel tanks are rarely obtainable so whoever has them tends to be in the top of the leaderboard and as such new people as you say to the game have no chance anyway. Its all a gamble Noe. Stupid stupid systemsystem. It ruined the TLE system for me. I don't even want to play asphalt anymore because of it....
What I don't understand is why the game keeps giving me D and C class upgrades as rewards when I have maxed out all my D and C cars. The game should be able to detect that and give me only credits as rewards.
Looking at these new cars and realizing I'll never get them is a big downer. I'm not even sure why, the only cars I genuine care for is the 2015 Mustang and 2006 Ford GT. I guess it's the competitive drive. I am mad I won't be able to with the Ford GT as well.
A'ight, improved by 0.3 secs. Can be improved, but I'm satisfied (for now). Fuel system really holds me back from improving quicker. I'm not asking to remove it but please, rebalance it to make it more manageable Also, top 20 only for the C-X75, eh? This is going to be real tight. Edit: I compared the P1 and the C-X75. The newbie is a more nitro-focused car with worse handling. Well, this is underwhelming.
Well this game is getting really pointless. yesterday I used my second to last double nitro to try and win the Ford. I posted a reasonable time of 1.87 and looked at the leader board. To win the car it was obvious that some extremely/ lucky and high risk lines were needed and then spent the rest of the 8 goes left over the 4 hours wiping out or missing thing due to over doing it. I played multiplayer for the rest while waiting for the fuel to build up and in 3.5 hours of playing only got given 10 points. There seems to be little reward for playing the game at the moment and I am loosing interest. The open guys seem to have an unlimited amount of extra fuel boosters, and I don't believe that the pay for them, so again the cheats seem to dominate the game. Multiplayer needs something adding to it to keep it interesting. I would like to see a tournament where if you achieved a certain lap time you could enter. Then make the players race with equally matched cars and remove the blue and gold nitros so that it was based purely on driving skill not luck of the draw. Lap times would dictate position on the grid and the course would be picked at random. This would bring back some element of fair and real competition to the game, where as the MP rankings can be rigged by racing your own drones to feed you points.

Yes, is impossible to get a good start with this IA, only with a lot of tries that is not possible with this fuel system... In the last three tries I have got a crash at tunnel caused by that stupid IA and their crazy movements...
Yup, that one makes me sad. It's exactly the kind of car that I liked driving in Asphalt, but given the choice between an insane TLE and an insane IAP, I'll probably stick to not even launching Asphalt. I've been following your multiplayer "career" for a long time, including the countless times you were banned and thus forced to start over. (That was you, right?) It's good to have another veteran join this discussion. And speaking of veterans, I just saw Chef Boiardi on Twitch. I wrote a comment, which prompted him to friend me on Game Center. Here's hoping that he'll become a Toucharcadian as well.
Hey, the game is giving your those if you have already obtained all of the rewards that were planned by the developers. I am going to inquire ocne more about other rewards. I will mention this to them. However, what kind of crazy movements did you encounter while playing? Tell me and they will probably check if this needs to be improved
Seems pretty unlikely that only one driver is that much quicker...that is the give away in my eyes. I would say nope. Given the new parameters, I feel they should take all the traffic out of TLE"s too. that would eliminate a major variable and give the field a more level chance if that is what they are after (via the fuel system)....LOL I always wondered how they did that
