Raced against the world number one a few min ago. Me: Rank survolt 1128 He: Mini maxed and boosted, no double tank. He was around 4 sec faster than me
Yeah, the funny thing is that the guy using the fully boosted Survolt (with Extra tank) didn't knock me out. He started in first place. The other guys tried to knock me out but fail. In the process of failing, he blocked my car from turning which led me to wreck, him also. So I didn't have a chance from the beginning. What pisses me off is that I can't dodge boosted Survolt players because I constantly get matched against them. I truly hate the Survolt, it beats almost anything at any upgrade rank. It has outstanding acceleration off start and amazing nitro.
TanoSaysFvckThisGame? I had a pretty good MP session last night (no disconnects, only two 2nd place finishes costing me points) and am up to 1649 (overall world ranking: 364), and there's another TanoSaysFvckThisGame user just a few points below me. This Tano guy is a real obsessive maniac. Aside from those 3-4 Tano accounts in the top 100, how many more accounts does he have?
I just got a -11 points placing 4th, knocked down by the same driver twice, amatuer driver... Man, that dude is pro!
Hey folks - Was catching up on posts and saw you all mention the bug that has allowed some Chinese racers to get the cars early. I've passed information along to the team regarding this issue and I've been assured they are looking into it!
Will the cars be available to buy for credits? If so, when? When you say that they got them "early" it leads me to believe that they will be available also for credits
Too late! Wasteloft_Ryan I pass that info for 10 thousand players, after the bug post... 10 thousand X $99.99 =
I posted about this yesterday, but I'm asking the team about this and just waiting to get an answer. But regardless, just wanted to let you all know people are looking into how certain people were able to grab the cars off the shop for the 2 mil price point.
I just discovered how to use the bug step by step, but I won't buy the cars I prefer to avoid the risk of being banned. Also I don't want to spend 2 million credits on each car. My question is, will Gameloft ban those players that toke advantege of the bug? As far As i know when you take advantage of a bug ( a developer mistake) it becomes an exploit. Also, they stole a 100 dollars premium package from Gameloft lol
There is absolute no reason or justification for that. You can pass on all the bug info you want, I don't particularly care, but insulting someone who is not responsible for any of the changes you are so opposed to is simply not the appropriate way to behave. You should actually be at least a bit civil because he is the one that is reading and passing on the feedback to the decisions makers, insulting won't help you're case. It won't stop him from paying attention and passing on what he needs but who really wants to come in here and be insulted? Would you? Would you continue to interact if insults is all you were going to get? Play nice. It's all perfectly fine to be angry about changes and to express that anger and request changes back. All reasonable and acceptable. But if you choose to do that in an uncivilised and derogatory way, you are throwing away your chance of your feedback getting the necessary attention. Be as angry as you want to be but those that choose not to be insulting and derogatory are the ones that come off more reasonable and are the ones that will appear to have more valid points and that will be taken more seriously. Angry raging derogatory insulting ones will just get the exact amount of attention they deserve and be put to the bottom of the list in all likelihood.
@Dan't_ponic I hate the "even more freemium and expensive" path that Asphalt 8 is following since the last update, but I have to fully agree with Rip73. Disrespecting GL workers/freelances doesn't help... In fact, I remember Eli Hodapp mentioning they were having trouble with devs because of this attitude. If we want A8 to be fairer/less expensive, we have to begin by respecting its workers.
Yes, Gameloft. Please ban all of the players who bought the car using the millions of credits that they had stored on their accounts. It's outrageous that they managed to save 100 actual dollars while many other hard-working, fair-minded players now have to skip buying groceries for a week just so they can feel the thrill of driving a ME412 in Asphalt 8. It's illegal, it's fraudulent, and if you want to save face as a company, you must put your foot down and ban all of these cheaters!
Working in customer service/feedback ain't easy for anybody. As a customer you don't have access to the devs directly and the first person that is a representative of the company usualy gets all the blame for other people actions. Ryan aint the one we should scream at. If anybody has a problem there is a customer care service that is payed to listen to this things and pass them to the developers. It's always easier to follow the chain of command than yelling at the one who tried to help you in first place so many times.
Are you high? I have no instructions... First of All... I don't want any of those new cars! Ask for this guy juanenrique that appears today at the forum... Ah! Rip It's not disrespect... You know my english! Just kidding... I pass nothing to nobody! I really don't care who bought or not those cars, or who stole or not it! It just for Gameloft respond us faster... I did not disrespect nobody! Just kidding... WasteLoft, Sameloft... Ryan even do not respond my questions anymore, because consider me as an occasional player... Not a Top player!
