Could someone tell me what's the upgrades price for the new Mustang and Chrysler?

I learned from a former post that their price are Ford Mustang 2015 325.000
Chrysler ME 412 1.300.000 and my guess is to fully upgrade them you need another 0.3m and 1.3m.

I have enough credits but I don't like it as devs only provide me with a shiny BUY NOW option with no price provided.

Another Q is how long does the TUNING KIT / Nitro starter obtained though TLE last? 8 /2 hrs or just 15 /10 mins? I am asking this because I still have a few in stock that last 8/2 hrs and I want to know whether it is wise to cast them to win the TLE prize.

    Thanks in advance.

It's got to be an error, or they just want people to somehow not see the price and mistakenly make the purchase.

Agreed, it seems that the Chrysler ME412 (S class) and the 2015 Mustang (D class) are only available through IAP, and not with in-game cash. And by the looks of everything, it seems a permanent decision :( The game is great, but the freemium decisions made lately are ruining the experience.

Honestly GL, do $100 IAP sell so much as to get a benefit from them compared to all the negative comments/opinions you are going to get because of this measure? Do you remember that online event which could only be raced if the car was fully upgraded? You only did that once and got many negative comments because of it. As I mentioned previously, A8 monetization begins to be comparable to that one found in RR3. What a pity... :(

Is there actually anybody who has 89.99 Euro laying dormant on their iTunes account to make such mistake?

Such person must not know what responsibility means.

    Game Impressions

Would you pay a few dollars to be able to enter in a tournament which gave out real prizes to the top finishers? I'm not saying I would, but aside from the $0.99 double-credit item, that's the only way I'd ever be okay with Gameloft charging us to play this game. If we're going to have to pay them real money just to be able to compete for the top spots, they should in turn give us real prizes that we can win.

A few pages back, I suggested toy models of the cars included in A8. Perhaps some of the automobile companies would have a problem with that, but in my opinion it would be the most logical prizes to give away, seeing as there are thousands of toy car models out there for sale.

    (10 minutes later:)

After a few image searches, I found a bunch of licensed toy models of the cars used in A8. Gameloft, contact these toymakers and see if you can arrange something together. You want to increase the amount of people who pay money to play your game? This seems like an easy and logical way.

My idea: Make 5-day tournaments focused on a single car, with the top 100 finishers winning a toy model of that car. There is a mandatory $4.99 entry fee (is that too much?), which gives you unlimited runs. It wouldn't be a huge leap to assume that some A8 fans are also fans of car-related things in general. Also, I bet that most Open/Summer/k_b clan players (who seem to be more concerned with gaming excellence than anything else) wouldn't enter in such tournaments, which in my opinion is a wonderful thing, as it would encourage normal players to enter. Get the toymakers to slap on an Asphalt 8 sticker somewhere, and suddenly you've got collectible A8 items.

    Some models I found:

I'm pretty sure Gameloft wouldn't take the risk of offending the few people that did not have a problem spending $100 on two cars by making them available anytime soon for credits. They certainly give the impression you're buying something exclusive, so unless someone from Gameloft has confirmed they will be available for credits I'm not counting on it :(

    Man... It was a joke!
There's no price for those two cars!
    Only available through IAP.

Guess... You're right! VirtualBoy bro! Only through IAP.

    99.99% sure thing!
Just like the Gameloft $99.99 stupid price... :D

Thank God I hated both cars!

    Agreed! :)
If these two cars were my Dream Cars, I would not pay $20, because two cars is not a pack, is a theft!

I mean, economically, it could make sense for them. I doubt it...but it could.

Say you have 500 customers. You decide to sell a car for $50. Ten rich completionists bite, so you make $500. Yeah, you could sell the car for $10 and maybe 40 people buy it, but you're still making more in the first scenario.

It's a similar concept to poker...sometimes you make a big bet with the nuts that won't get called very often at all...but those times it does get called can make up for all the times that it doesn't.

Basically they're catering to rich whales that are willing to blow a bunch on a game.

Based on the early leaderboards for the Mustang and Chrysler tournaments, there are a few (mediocre to outright lousy) players who've already ponied up $100 for these two cars. Of course, they could also be hackers...

But did OpenLou (the one name I recognize) really pay $100 just to get the Chrysler? He was in the top 50 for the Mustang tournament, but not in the top 10 for the Chrysler. Gameloft needs to pay close attention to this guy's account. Paying $100 for one car that you couldn't win?

$100 for two cars, neither of which is all that appealing?!? Bwahahhahahahha!!!! No thanks.

I'm not sure I would pay Greedloft $1 for two cars at this point.

Wow. I hope the top 100 of the Chrysler/Mustang tourney do not get fully populated. $99 to get 2 cars, that prob need an additional 1-2M credits to max out?! yikes.

Fat chance on that. At least we will see in a few days since the rank table is public.

Google/Apple may even get complains from parents with their kids using their credit card for $100 IAP, see the BS price and temp ban the game.

    Hi all

Actually only around 20 players on the Chrysler and Mustang cup bought the premium car package.
The rest of players, most from China, discovered a bug on the game to be able to buy the 4 new cars using credits instead of real money. They did not hack, they found a bug.
Currently the price of the new cars cost 2 million credits each one (Chrysler, Jaguar, Mercedez and Mustang), Gameloft will probably reduce 500 - 700k credits once they decide to release the new cars.
Here are the proof with pictures.
