I posted this earlier, but it's lost now. It's tough to say exactly all the differences, cause there is alot. But the pictures tell more of the story. ------- Ipad 3 vs ipad 4 Asphalt 8 Comparison Look at these two pictures closely. To me the ipad 4 version looks far better. Can't figure out all of the differences, but the particles are very apparent by just looking. The ipad 3 version looks kinda bland to me, and less detailed. Pretty big difference if you ask me, and now, I feel like getting an ipad 5!!! I think this gamereactor shot is an ipad 4 screenshot. Here is my ipad 3 screenshot of a tunnel scene. Both pictures are severely compressed here cause I can't post higher res on TA or it goes beyond the borders.
I'm not a big racing game fan but always keep one fun one on my iPhone. I currently have NFS:MW. How does this compare?
Im playing on both s4 and ip5 S4 got better radial motion blur compare to ip5. But poor loading time. 4.5secs slower than ip5 I noticed that s4 got motion blur even no nos,when im speeding at 190kmh above, But ip5 no motion blur for ip5 Both when nos got motion blur. How about ipad3 and ipad4? They got motion blur same like s4?
I fell for the hype... To be honest this game is not all that good. The handling sucks the graphics are really not that good(iPhone 5) and the frame rate sucks! It is amazing how much this game has been hyped up and it is nowhere near good enough to deserve it. I pray to the gods of racing games that 2K's upcoming racing game, 2K Drive lives up to the hype. I think it has been released in some territories already... If anyone in this form has 2K Drive, could you give your reviews? Thanks!
Well, with multiplayer it's really fun and if you come in 1st, u get enough to buy another car and upgrade it. So, asphalt 8 is really good! Hope this helps!
I hope CodeMasters releases a DiRT game on iOS soon. I need a good racing game to replace this garbage!
I hope they release Dirt as well. One of my favorite games ever. But this game will remain on my device when they do, because its excellent.

That's pretty sure. Asphalt 7 got several updates with new cars (2030 afair). A7 was the Gameloft game with the most updates. When there will be new hardware (iPad 5) Asphalt 8 will be the first app with an update featuring new hardware capabilities. The same goes with new iOS features. Did you unlock already all of the "only" 47 cars? List of cars here. In the Garage Menu or in the car selection screen, tap on the UPGRADE icon in the lower part of the screen. The game will display the car stats and the available upgrades. There are 4 categories of upgrades: Acceleration, Top Speed, Handling and Nitro. Just tap on the icon to buy the upgrade of the desired category. There are 5 steps of upgrade per category.
Good to see this getting heaps of praise. Currently on 94 on Metacritic. I find the pricing of this much friendlier than RR3 so I hope it knocks EA a few pegs down the charts
Thanks, I was wondering that too. Anyone know how to do a barrel roll off a normal ramp? Apparently it was shown on the live stream yesterday, but I missed it alternatively anyone know where a barrel ramp is in Tokyo? I can't seem to find one to get the fifth star.
Agreed. NFSMW just feels to locked down, almost railed. Between the multiple paths and jumps this game just gives a much deeper sense if freedom to the driving. Plus the takedowns are a lot more satisfying.
There's one near the beginning if the race after you take a sharp corner. There's a ton of them if you take the right path after plowing through the indoor area. You'll go over a bridge that has at least 3 of them and a couple of flat ramps. Take the steep center one and you'll pass a chopper in mid-air.

I still don't understand one thing. There is no Gameloft live is there? If so where can I find it. I think it uses either Facebook or Game Center.

I agree. I mean, for 1 buck you can't really be complaining, but I preferred A7. Main concerns: - Drifting is not as nice as A7 and sometimes it doesn't even trigger at all - Visuals for speed. Going at 200km/h seems like I'm riding my Sunday car - Maps are way too confusing. There are so many shortcuts that it becomes very confusing which is the best one
