Well putting an initial price would definitely deter downloads. Its their intent to showcase it as "free" initially and then later include hidden in app purchases if you want an edge over the rest.
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupé Final Edition http://youtu.be/kQUkBH1FOpU I think that Mercedes will be cool, especially the blue one! But the price won't be cool...
Hey guys, I just created an account to ask you some things about A8. I play Asphalt 8 a lot, I have lvl 15 in multiplayer and nearly 300 stars in the campaign. Now, I don't want to pay any money to this game, so how do you get those boosters (for examle the extra tank) for free in this game? (No hacks)
Why is this worth it? Right now this is extremely freemuim. I don't care about the graphics or gameplay if it's promoting the very thing that ruins the iOS gaming scene.
Well, it seems that the car packs are available now, at least where I am. The 3G connection is lame and it took a lot to connect, but they are in my shop with the prices you see. @GL, are these cars going to be available to purchase with in-game currency or only with real money?
I have 2 devices with same connection. One of them I have this screen... The other one I haven't this screen... I hate that Gameloft! If they answer this question for you, I eat glass on YouTube as I said! Because they won't...
Yeah. I downloaded this and Real Racing 3 at the same time, but ended up playing A8 a lot more as the in-app purchases are pushed onto you as they are in RR3. I even chose to buy a couple of euros for the double-credits-reward booster (while saving to buy the Tuatara) as I wanted to give something to the developer given how much I've played this game. But after the last update I'm done with it (no harm, I was playing it too much anyway!) I don't mind paying for add-ons: new tracks, maybe new cars if they're not ridiculously expensive (a fully-upgraded Tuatara would cost > 70 here!! Just for one car!). But pay-to-play games - no matter how sneakily or subtly they do it - and I'm out.
Ha haa, I nearly beat him with an un boosted but maxed mini yesterday, but he got me on the last corner of buddas. I was racing with the double tank today it was pretty dull to be honest, I only seem to be given Survalots to race and most of them driver like the are in a demolition derby. I will be racing tomorrow from 9.30am GMT if you are interested. I have been reading some old posts and have a few questions. What is the Rs4 off the line glitch? How did it work? Did any one else find a point where if you crashed in china you would skip to the other side of the track? I think it was near the end in Buddas.
Lol, and today it is even lower. A whole 19,500 if you add all the rewards/prices together. That's barely half of what it used to be for the default daily tournaments. A new low, that seems to be all what Gameloft can do lately
Progress will not be transferred when you go across platforms sadly. Great question. I honestly don't know our long term plans for the car collections in terms of pricing with real money or with in-game currency. I'll try and check on this today and see what's up. Or, if Fabien has heard anything differently he can chime in!
Maybe not! 7 new players in the top 10 today. Lucian and I are pushed out of the top 50, and you've gone from 14th to 40th. Normally, I'd find my own route, but given the time constraints with the fuel system and the limited supply of extra tanks, I gotta ask: feel like sharing your winning strategy, Dark?
This is not good at all Well, I'll think about what to do when the time to change phones arrives. Until then, I'll continue building my garage here. Thanks for the info anyway.
Weird, I just created a dummy account to see the prices and the duration of the boosters. I saw 6k credits for 2 hours of nitro and 16k for 8 hours of tuning kit. Is the price hike a iOS thing, or did they change it?
Alright, I somehow managed to get under 1:44 and into the top 50. Doubt it'll last. And I doubt I could replicate the run. Just have to keep my fingers crossed for the next day or so
