Old country and rock? Well, I'm probably a bit less traditional (or a lot) than you in my listening habits, but here are some songs by artists that shouldn't be too hard for you (or the feed watchers) to get into. Country/folk: Bonnie "Prince" Billy - A Minor Place Neko Case - Hold On, Hold On Elliott Brood - Northern Air Frank Turner - St. Christopher Is Coming Home Shearwater - The Snow Leopard The Silver Jews - Tennessee The Mountain Goats - The Diaz Brothers Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Round and Round Smog - Cold-Blooded Old Times Sun Kil Moon - I Love My Dad Rock: Sugar - Gee Angel Built to Spill - Carry the Zero The Replacements - Alex Chilton Superchunk - Me and You and Jackie Mittoo Electric Six - Rock and Roll Evacuation Ween - The Mollusk Jets to Brazil - Resistance Is Futile The Afghan Whigs - Debonair Ted Leo and the Pharmacists - The Ballad of the Sin-Eater Fugazi - Arpeggiator (a really, really cool instrumental song by a challenging band) Also, you should play this! Guided by Voices - "Motor Away" (my username on A8!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9J-V6AGuA2k
This isn't really a reply to your question, but unless you're absolutely sure that streaming your own music is legal where you live (and in accordance with Twitch's terms of service), I'd stick to the music provided by the game. (Or do what I do most of the time and turn the music off. )
Wow, glad I read this thread before posting. I was cruising around in my usual crapmobiles with a tank doubler thinking I was accomplishing something. Hah. Now I know what they really cost. I'm going to burn up the rest of mine in a db9 or countache just for kicks. On a side note, the huayra is finally worth a darn with the tank doubler. And heck yeah you can refill the extra tank, flat spins baby. I will always respect a developer's need to make money on their project, but pay-to-win just gives me a sad face. Will the best of the best pony up to stay at the top? Should be interesting to see. I don't have that kind of money regardless. Also, unintended side effect: used to be, tles were an awesome credit grind for people once they owned and maxed the car. I would go into a tle, buy the car at a discount if one was available and if I didn't own it, and then grind like hell to upgrade it. Then I'd grind more to maybe buy something else. Winning prizes for my good runs was just a nice side effect. So much for that. Also, it's a good thing I'm sitting on over 14 million credits cause even the standard boosters are going to eat those up quickly, not to speak of the tournament cars that only a tiny handful of people can possibly win. I'll have my temporary fun driving half-arsed cars with a huge nitrous bar, but after that, I think this thing is done with. I see no real improvements to the mp algorithms except that maybe the matching for the spano are a little more fair now . . . or maybe I kept seeing all those mcclaren p1s out there cuz people wanted to exploit the double tank with them. Now it all makes sense. There are two solutions that nobody has mentioned to people paying for tank doublets in mp: drive backwards and/or hit the brakes at the start and hold them. You can lock people down so that they can't move if you do it right, and I've even seen two cars get locked up in a traffic jam before. Hilarious. I already vote infected 100% of the time now though in most races it just causes positions 3 and back to wreck each other a lot, making it easier for the top 2 to win.
Ahah, of course my meaning was: if it runs faster on iPhone 4s, there is no reason why it would run slower on more powerfull devices. Again, lag can be caused by many things, and it's realy specific to each players. Please contact the Customer Care from the in-game button, this is easier for the team to get all of necessary information if you do so
Everybody please remember to leave reviews in the AppStore. Let Gameloft know how effective they are in ruining the game by leaving a nice one star review.
Whenever i join multiplayer lobby and vote for the race and location i got race failed to start (error 221) any help how to fix this?
Either way, we can be sure that they've found a more legally acceptable method to pick their customers up, flip them over, and empty their pockets. Kudos, Gameloft. I am disappointed, but I can't blame you at all. This style is where the money is at, and you are capitalizing on it, as you should. It's your game, not mine, not ours. Make your money. Best wishes, SR
The fuel cost for entering tournaments we already own cars for really doesn't make sense. If it maxed out our cars for the duration of the event or allowed us to rent something better (this would be for the newer players), it might make sense, but nope. And 0.99$ for 1 fuel bar? Really now...
Here's mine... Gameloft used to be an incredible company that led the world in advanced mobile gaming. Now, they're just like everyone else. The innovation has been replaced with greed. Each update is a slap in the face to long time players. But no worries, because the mobile market is only concerned with NEW players. The bottom will fall out.
That's a sweet deal. Only $10 to refill it. Mobile Robbery is reaching Wild Wild West levels. Take what you can get.
I haven't tried buying it (nor will I ever) but I would think it would fill up the whole timer, not just one bar. But then again, nothing would surprise me anymore. A lot of the recent changes seem to lack any common sense Seems like TLE prices also have degraded some more. Default prices were often 2k + nitro booster (worth 15k) for beating a set time and finishing. Those have stayed the same, except the nitro booster is worth a lot less now of course (money and duration wise). A default price for your ranking would often be 20k for the top 300 of the US (with a whole bunch of other seperate country leaderboards to). Now it is 20k for the top 250 WORLD WIDE. Not only does the costs to play the game jump up in huge leaps, Gameloft is even lowering the rewards you get.
I'm still trying to figure out how people are getting a full second ahead of me in the 2015 mustang tourney. It is pissing me off because I only get three tries every 1 hour 30 mins to 2 hours. So I have to hope that I do the route I know perfectly and that the AI cars don't have a mind of their own. The Chrysler tournament is also upsetting me. Most of the people in the top 30 are just Chinese players (so it's obvious they are in the main Chinese clans, using their videos as help). Using videos feels like a cheat code to me and the chances of me winning either car is very low now.
From what I understand, you can only get that sweet $100 deal if you sign over the rights to your first born. I could be mistaken, though. Don't take my word for it.
Gameloft is doing what every other money-grubbing company in their position would do. Can't blame them. It's a free for all right now. Like I said above, Wild Wild West. Take money from the dumbs. People are stupid, they'll quickly throw money away for digital accomplishments that will never result in tangible satisfaction. Plus, there are a lot of hackers, and we all know how well GL treats them (obliviously, as long as they're not threatening the bottom line). It's a sad state of affairs. GL is following the EA model. GL execs are thrilled with the proposition. GL fans are dismayed with the decline of one of the best mobile gaming companies ever.
