In Mp, next to your name there is a rank, mine is 1321, my 12 year old son pointed out that sometimes you get a plus arrow, a minus arrow or an equal, sometimes even win in 4th place, and there are points next to it, what is this about? This is your world ranking as given based on your in game multiplayer rating win ratio so to speak. The more you win the higher it goes, but at a point once you start to loose as a higher rank driver you loss in that point category is costly. When new and or low rank you will get points that advance you even for placings out side the top spot...the higher you go that will stop World ranking, as in I am 1321 in the world, that can't be right. If I go to ranking, it says World Series my position 5999, which seems more likely, yet below it does say rating 1344 level 32. I did notice this, I can win a race and get 1 point or come in 2nd and lose 10 points. Do I really care what rank I am in, no, but it is more of the understanding and advancement that I am interested in. If I am in a car and getting a point for a win, I should switch to a higher car, it becomes more advanced and more points? In the end do the points really make any difference? 4. In MP, It seems or maybe its my imagination that sometimes when people are doing bad or crash, that they leave the game? Are all these people actually getting disconnected from the internet or purposefully leaving the game and why? In some cases they are getting disconnected and in most they leave because they know that they cannot win at that point. For some leaving is less costly than staying and finishing poorly...Not the "big man" move IMO...you can still win races up till the first guy crosses the line so I stay till the end no matter what. They leave because they are not interested in getting a win streak bout looking for that 10 point advancement, like we were just speaking about? 5. I left the game once on accident and lost my streak, so you always have to play through the streak or is there a way to leave play some events and come back without losing where you were on the streak? You can leave as long as you do it while not in que or in a race. Ok, so if I finish a race, I can exit MP and still keep the streak for another day, just not in queue for another race? 7. Is it almost impossible to get events times, without having the nitro and tuning? Since I noticed that all the top people have stand even though I have used it on some events, it was quite a truffle to reach a certain time, where I noted before I saw everyone's post, that it is just a skill level of a guy like Turbo to be able to nail these incredible times. Gives people something to look forward to, instead of thinking all those times were somehow hacked. If you want to try at the top of the leaderboard yes you need them no matter what.....If you are talking about reaching the benchmarks for that event you never used to but I see some these days that I think you will need one of the two. I should try first with this next one to see. Not long ago I ran my P1 with out and made all the marks though. Aside from notoriety, there is no advantage to being on top of the leader board? More interested in events and should I be using them for MP wins? I noticed if I get them in MP, I have to battle some monsters and everyone then has it, seems easier without it? Speaking of Monsters and tactics, the more I play MP, and encounter these monsters, I have seen really different tactics such as coming in at almost a 90 degree angle to crash people, seems like they are more interested in crashing than playing. Also, I may be older and play differently, but I usually try to win almost without touching people, if I need to crash someone to win, ok, but I usually leave people alone. If they try to hit me, then I'll do it back, but many many races I have gone through and never touched another car. When you get mixed up in MP with one nissan and 7 Citroens, they go crazy 8. Any particular cars that are really good for MP, such as I noticed with my maxed out nissans, if I use the 370, all my competition is are Citroens, if I use my GTR, I get more Citroens, switch to Lambo Sesto, I get Lykans and Tuataras. There must be an easier method to figure this out that I am missing somehow? These days I recommend only three cars to have the best chance and you will need both boosters at that. Some others that run more often than I can jump in to correct me.. Survolt Minni Cooper Lykan...now on this one it is much harder to run consistently so be ready for some really nasty races...If you like to run faster cars this about your only choice...But if your rank is lower come to think of it....You might be able to get away with running a Zonda R...McLearen 12....Sesto or P1 and stay effective...at a point in rank though it will start to match you with much faster cars so keep that in mind. This is the plus minus equal gain 1 point lose 10 points that we were talking about? 11. In MP, are the rewards always 2500, 5000, 7500, 10000, d class handling, acceleration, nitro and once in a while a c class, or does this change later on? for example, what happens when you have every car in d class upgraded on acceleration, will it still give you that prize or does it start going to c or b class? There are never top speed prizes? There are never a or s class prizes? Nope stays the same as far as I can tell. Wow, so A and S class, you never get a free upgrade reward? 1. - Okay sorry I meant it is a skill rating not your actual world wide rank...that can be found in a menu on the main page upper right that shows 123 icon... 2. - You get point per race based on who you raced...so if you race me and win (I am 1670 or so) you would get like say 7 points or so for that win. If you run against Dark at 1800 something you would get maybe 9 or 10...win against someone of your skill or less and 1 to + could be the result..Points matter to you and you alone. So if you dont care where you sit on that world leader board then nope it does not matter 3. They leave because they cannot win and just bug out...or they leave because they know that losing 10 points is less of a hurt than loosing more...i.e. 14 points...If I lost to you I would lose around 10+ points so they think they would rather lose ten than more. 4. - Yes you can leave after a race is done and you are at the screen that asks you to change cars or leave to main menu or next race, your streak will stay intact till you loose a race or disconnect with out finishing. 5. Events have nothing to do with MP...so dont worry about that. I run to win so if you are in the way or close enough that you have a chance to knock me down when I pass then I will do it before it is done to me...But I do not hunt down people and most of us here don't either. Just take out cars that poss a threat. if we are in the lead off the bat then I never worry about others and go untouched for the whole run too. 6. as for the cars, it is not the point gain per say..but the better you skill rank, then the game will match you against harder competition...it does that by making you take a slower car and run against faster ones. I dont feel that even if you overcome and win it rewards that. Just makes it much harder to win. Therefore in your case for win streaks alone I would still run only these cars and more so the mini to be able to maintain the win streak easier is all. 7. - You used to get rewards for a s b class and boosters galore even a free double credit booster too... now the rewards you see are what the yare and the only thing that might change is that you will start to loose the higher streak credit rewards...the biggest one I see now is the 5k one, all others are D C class upgrades of which I have no use because I have done that a long time ago. Slayer1209, I'm pretty sure we faced off in Mini-Coopers yesterday. Although I was Driver 4118 for a long time, I've changed it to Motor Away. I should be going online in about 90 minutes or so; perhaps we'll race each other again.

Yeah, I used to beat the Open clan a lot. There were very few times where it was a close game. I think the fact that they have so many runs helps them have good times in tournaments.
@Fabien & Ryan When are u guys goning to fix the connection issue? I just encountered this problem, was racing in Tokyo Reverse gonna sprint to the finish line suddenly my it freeze for a minute and whole thing crash and i was at my Home Screen, resulting a 10points reduction....

Ugh, so it will be exactly like that Minion game, or a Sonic game, or Temple Run. Has nothing to do with racing, just flicking between 3 lanes I wish they put their money and time in building a race game
