Triple boosting off the line is about all I do when in multi player...very few maps will I not do this unless I fell I am in pour company....I can stay ahead of Sesto's in the Zonda for a little while, problem really is its speed and I dont mean the numbers...real life shows that a Sesto will flat run you down faster than the difference in speed suggests even when they are not as good a driver. BTW...I triple the Sesto every time all the time...that is that cars major strength Before the days of the Lykan and S class Zonda machines that Sesto could run with S class all night long as long as you know what you are doing. \ No joke hu....its a B.A. car
Wow, thanks for triple idea. That's why the Sesto the ultimate beast. Even if you mess up and slow down by hitting the wall is a wierd direction. The Sesto soon regains its max speed. What's the S-Class Zonda? The Pagani Huayra or are you referring to another car? Would like to try the Zonda in MP (supposed to be better than the Huayra in real life.) Is it good stock? This might explain why though and Agera R has a maxed acceleration of 2.2, it's still slower of the start. It's 60-100, adn 100-150 times are slower than it's competitors. (And it's shorter lasting and less powerful Nitro
Yes I messed up it is the Huayra I was referring too...I love it too, but unfortunately it gets out classed as well on speed. It accels good even though the number say it may be slower but it gets run down quickly by Lykans and now the SSC. The real life Zonda holds the track record in Germany fro factory car lap. You are welcome for the Sesto bit It is just about the king of off the line in game really. The Agera is just crap in game due to its very poor accel performance. It takes too long to get going and even its mid accel is bad compared to the others in the class. Now in real life it is a beast. I will add this too... based off real life I think the P1 should be an S class car for sure... Ever watched the series on the drive network via youtube on that car....good to see for sure.
Just decided to race a max double boosted Clio in MP due to someone saying it was competitive. Ran into a guy with a max double boosted Mini that sort of stomped me. =/ It was Monaco and he got to the first bottle, so that might've had something to do with it. Is the left sidewalk faster than the right? Cause I've always taken the right...but question whether that's correct now.
Who is that guy? Right side is slightly short IMO Bird, why u left the race? Anyway, u are a Mean Bird, KO me
Trust me, it wasn't voluntary — the server connection crapped out on me. There was an error message about a request time-out, then I found myself kicked out of the game. So instead of gaining 2 or 3 points for defeating you and the Chinese guy, I got the usual 10 points penalty. Happens every once in a while. I wish one wouldn't get the penalty in cases like that, but I realize that if Gameloft were more lenient about connectivity issues, some low-lifes would simply disable their WiFi whenever they aren't winning. Yeah, sorry about that. You lined yourself up perfectly against that rail. But I guess you could say that karma was quick to strike back.
Its true, but to those racer like us the punishment seems quite harsh.... Maybe they can do something about the connection. I wanted an Non-knockout race actually, i don't really knockout others unless they voluntarily let me, and when someone is right behind me. Karma sure strike fast
Aikz.. Without ssc, winning the Nevada cup is nearly impossible . is it possible for lykan to sneak into top5? :O
I've never seen a Clio beat a Mini in MP (the Alfa a few times nice top end). I prefer the right sidewalk heading to the first tunnel taking out light posts before the gold bottle leading into the tunnel. That sets up a nice, tight drift starting at the entrance to the tunnel (provided no one is hot on your tail). Gives you full nitro to the barricade or just about before you start knocking down more light poles after the tunnel.
I would say it might be...but I dont think so really....... I had a heck of a time getting it in the 1.05.9xx's as it was....but maybe the elite could get it done. I am by no means the authority on that thing I agree totally in forward, but in reverse I feel that the right is the better option with its easier havoc.
Bear in mind that I am discussing behavior of boosted cars. I almost never run without boosts thesedays, even when doing quick races for no credits. The interplay of gallardo vs 599xx vs gt500 is like this: No nitrous: acceleration and top speed go to 599xx, no contest. With nitrous, perfect nitrous: off the line, it's hard to judge. The gt500 is surprisingly quick when doing perfect nitrous. The numbers don't tell the whole story here. Based on my experience, the gallardo and gt500 should be neck and neck here. The 599xx is a bit slower off the line under perfect nitrous. Once top speed is achieved, the gt500 has a tiny edge. It tops out at around 248-249 mph, whereas the 599xx tops out at about 247-248, with a heavy bias towards 248. The gallardo tops out at 246-247 mph. If driving in a straight line over nitrous bottles, the gt500 outruns the other two. With nitrous, triple nitrous: the gt500 gains very little from a triple, while the gallardo gains a lot. The 599xx catches up to the gt500 such that they have nearly identical acceleration to the top when they both triple. Bear in mind that, in mp, the 599xx is usually the best car. The gt500 gets pitted against overall tougher opponents, not counting the rank bias you see on people with ranks that are high. A gt500 might get stuck racing a maxed boosted mclaren f12, which is bad news. The gt500 and 599xx can plausibly get similar track times. Usually it comes down to personal preference. The 599xx sort of handles like a boat, while the gt500 is a brick. As much fun as the gallardo can be, I find it impossible to produce equally good track times with it. You can nitrous starve opponents on certain tracks, but that's about it. Well, and you can wreck people if you start far enough back. The rt 12 s is a mess, I agree. You have to train with it extensively, and you have to be the better driver. Catchin a good sesto driver is nearly impossible, and catching a bad one is difficult but not impossible. You can beat venenos all day long, though. My true bane when in the ruf was the enigmatic mcclaren p1. I could catch the sesto under the right circumstances, but the p1 pulls away and keeps on pulling. Scary but true: while racing my maxed boosted ssc tuatara, I had several races where a p1 stayed within 5 seconds or less and took second place, beating several mediocre Lykan drivers. Scary. No offense to the tuatara drivers, but if they are behind a Lykan to the finish, then it's because the Lykan driver knows his car better and overall is better at the game. I have run down plenty of Lykans. Some I can't catch, sometimes.
Well, the Clio relies a lot on nitro, so no wonder you got beaten on Monaco. The first nitro bottle is so far away that the Mini has more than enough time to catch up, and with the low top speed the Clio has, it makes it even easier. I haven't faced someone competent driving a Mini yet (looks like they're all on iOS), but I think the Clio has an advantage when it gets the first nitro bottle quickly (all cars do, but it's quite obvious that a Clio driver MUST do that in order to stand a chance) About the sidewalk to take, I have no idea. I always thought both were equal, but I would take the left one since you can get some city havocs out of the fences near the first nitro bottle, and the angle you come in from the left is more parallel to those than the right, so it helps getting 3 or 4 fences.
Russia/Belarus/Ukraine tournament going on at the moment. France too. Wonder when we'll get an India, Japan, or Mexico.
Lately I have been experiencing increasing instability issues with the app. Just tonight alone I have had probably half a dozen crashes to desktop, where the app just turns black and exits out. Has anyone else been running into any problems? I'm playing on an iPad mini, with everything up to date
Funny like those hackers discovered during the Tuatara Cup get their brand new SSC. I've contacted GL Ryan, but seems useless I think. So he did a 1:25 in Iceland when the 2nd did 1:31xx? Really?!
Yeah, it is frustrating. It takes a while before the game is loaded, the tournaments have loaded, the track has loaded, etc. It's a big interruption I think it happens mainly when loading tracks, and I only part of the game I play are the tournaments. Also there has been more lag in the game, stuttering of the frame rate, all that goodness. It seems the game has lost performance, it is slower and more unstable lately (last few weeks)
Does this seem legit? This player owns 8 cars and only 23 achievements, yet he owns a fully maxed out lykan? Is this a person who somehow finished the game with only 8 cars, someone who spent about $50 to buy and fully upgrade the lykan, or a hacker? It just seems suspicious.
Hey, it's me again. Thought I'd give a little progress update. I've been hard at work in multiplayer, grinding out cash and xp levels. I took Dark's advice and maxed out my Mini, and I've been getting top 3 in every race I don't crash multiple times in. While I'm here, I have some new questions. 1) Is there a resource that shows the optimal paths on each track? Nothing is more annoying than losing a first place finish because of a wrong turn. 2) Does anybody have some tips for driving the Mini? It seems pretty straight forward, but I have lost to most other Mini drivers I've gone up against, so I feel like I'm missing something simple. (None of my opponents were boosted in any way) Thanks for reading, and I'm sure I'll be back with more questions soon.
