When at very low rank (~700), get in your maxed boosted Lykan or, eventually, ssc tuatara, and just putter around until you get matched against someone in a p1 or sesto. Then blow off their doors. So rude! Sadly, most of the people serious about rank have long since given up on any car that can truly be victimized in that fashion. Gee, I wonder why . . . I still say Gameloft need ghosts of anyone with a top 100 finish. Forwarding info about hacks is great, but having direct evidence of it is better.
Actually, i dislike using S Class cars, they are fast but handling the car is difficult, still prefer C-B Class. I still have a glim hope on the rankings, been up and down everytime.......
At that rate, there is a high chance you will remain in the top 100. On iOS, that is not enough to stay in the top 100, which is what i was referring to. Woah, that is expensive. Goodness.
Dang that is expensive! Unfortunately, I just spent everything on the SSC Tuatara Cup from 800,000 to 360,000 credits. Still need the Bugatti Veyron and Silver Lightning. Jeez, those upgrades combined for one car will be more than the 2 most expensive current cars (Lykan and Agera R) heck-Gameloft-how is anyone supposed to finish the game then?
Prize pot is far too short when millions are going at it. We could get one going but I doubt it'll have an impact. Those fake times are still up and its over 24 hours. Can you link me where Fabian Gameloft has said? Its beyond my understanding how can anyone go quicker than 1:32 or 1:31s. I don't believe these 1:25s etc are gettable. If there is a video to shut me up I'll happily see that. On a side note what's your best time?
We are running it like Dark has mentioned I do not believe that 1.25's can be done...were does he say that they can? I could not find that....I would say 1.31's max...but my 1.33.xx is loaded full of errors but 1.25 is still out of the realm of Earth....lol I would like to see the top 5 or top 3....after the race like others have mentioned... I think that would be good for everyone to see.
The times starting with JunJun Zheng have been on the leaderboard for 24-48 hours. They removed the obvious hackers the first two, but last time I checked Jun JUn the probable hacker is still #1. Is that even possible-maybe if he hacked and maxed the car out...
Sorry not Gameloft Fabien, but Gameloft Ryan. Still one of the mods. Doesn't say he sanctioned the times but they've been there for a longtime. Can somehow help me spread the message- Theres at least 5 1:20's times and some low 1:31- gosh the hackers have penetrated Windows now-crap! Go screw yourselves hackers-play legit or get banned-no one has time for your immoral antics
Lol you've got to be kidding me. It's been obvious for a while that they're doing anything and everything in their power to push IAPs harder and harder but this is ridiculous. I think I'm officially done with this game, and GL in general. In all my years of playing games I don't think I've ever seen a company deliberately degrade the user experience in a game so quickly and so successfully.
upgrade cost so much-you could get a Pagani Huayra for that- the acceleration adn handling don't look that bad-why was someone's acceleration and handling level 5 both 197,500?- this means one has to wait for free upgrades-which they rarely give out-is it likely to win A/S-class upgrades inmultiplayer (I'm only winnign D/C class)?
I'm leaning towards agreeing with you. I've been playing the Asphalt series for a long time, they've been my favorite iOS games for as long as they've been on the platform. I was really starting to get into GTR2 as well. GL pretty much destroyed GTR2 with the last update, and the A8 update wasn't much better. I've barely played since it released. I was bewildered after seeing the new upgrade prices here. I had to go look for myself because I couldn't believe how ridiculous they were. It's just a total insult to the customers when developers start testing the limits of IAP like this. Note to GL, don't count on me downloading A9 at this rate.
These are the complete S Class level 5 upgrade prices. 1,140,000 total just for those four upgrades. Absurd.
I mean, that many credits only costs $49.99 in the store. Seems pretty reasonable to me. Or you could race a tournament 316 times (158 if you get the double credit bonus)...which if that's a one lap Alps at an optimistic 1.5mins, that's only 7.9hrs of doing the same mind-numbing thing (3.9hrs with the credit boost). Look, I get that Gameloft wants to make money, but this actually makes me less likely to spend it. Had these been the terms from the outset, fine. The tournaments would've actually been sort of "competitive" in a different sense since far fewer people would have vehicles fully upgraded. However, the economy expectation has been set at a certain level for quite a while now. To suddenly jack the prices to quadruple what they were, you're absolutely punishing newer players, and it's very close to lying to the customer. If I'd purchased the $99.99 package for 3m credits the day before under the assumption that it'd buy and fully upgrade quite a few cars to suddenly the next day seeing that it probably wouldn't even do two, I'd feel super ripped off and demand a refund.
"I've altered the deal. Pray I don't alter it further." —Gameloft (I sure don't envy Ryan his job today.) EDIT: Seriously though... Yes. This. It may be within their rights to make this change, but that doesn't make it less of a disgrace.
something wrong with the system I guess . I just used my free S class top speed upgrade from LaFararri Cup . That top speed cost 420k.
So you're basically upgrading the top speed of your car for a little more than the price of the Huayra, and maxing your car for quite less than buying and fully upgrading a Lykan before the price increase. Okay, what?
So I come on here for the first time in a while to ask why there are no sales on the dealer-available cars to match their tournaments any more, and... what. I suppose it's good for Gameloft's PR that they're not based out of the US (and hence eligible for that Consumerist dead horse).
