It is a worldwide ranking, no seperate country rankings for this tournament, so that would probably explain why it is harder on this one and switching to a small country doesn't do anything

How are people dipping into 1:33s? Burnt almost 200k and best I could do is 1:34:116. Will it be enough?
I also don't believe it's possible to get that time. That 1:27 is not only 4 entire seconds ahead of #2, it's also without the tuning boost. I never knew the Chinese also used Windows-thought they hogged almost all iOS top spots. Dark_Zero and Turbo_343 good luck on this tournament. From what I've seen so far, those two are the fastest on this forum (and that I know who play legit). Let's see how they do...if they can do pretty well, we all might have a chance by sharing tips. If they can't, better start saving those credits. Yes, this is probably the hardest cup ever, in any game I've played-only 300 players (iOS, Android, and iOS) out of several maybe millions that play this game will get the car for free. Those Chinese guys are really getting on my nerves- either the all hack or they need to take a break. Wonder what the top 5 times each on iOS and Android are? Are they in the lo 1:20s
SCC CUP Iceland is my worst map, best could get was only 1:35***, wandering how Darkzero and Tano able to hit 1:34. Anyway, i always buy the car when is purchasable )
To dip into 1.35s you have to run a very tight line. Ending is most important, take the two blue nitros then barrel role then nitro all the way to FL.
Alone Z, though I'm not the fastest, what route are you taking right now. I can hit at least the 1:37 w/o any boosts-the 1 time I tried the cup. Are you using both boosts? I think the times might go down till 1:33 for top 100, waiting until tomorrow to have another go, then the day after that try it with 2X boosts (hey almost 1 mli saved up waiting for sales-time to splurge). The cup is not worth it: playing for an hour-this is the math (-11,250 to rent the car + 3,600 earned for 1st place) times 60 minutes/(1.5 minutes) - (4500 for final S-class race * 27 at least times can complete the race if you weren't playing the cup) -15,000 for the Nitro Booster -40,000 for the Tuning Booster = -452,500 (approximate figure lost in credits for playing the tourney for an hour) lets say the car is worth around 600,000-650,000 you buy the car on sale for 70% for 455,000 when a sale comes up (jeez, Gameloft still doesn't have those for Windows-you owe me 40% of the Lykan, 25% of the Pagani Huayra, etc.) -you basically wasted enough credits to buy the car
Unfortunately, no. You'll need about 1:33:700 or less to get top 100. So far, i got 1:33:440. Times like 1:32 and 1:31 seem impossible (32 is probably possible with the perfect run but 31 is too much). I still have room to improve (not a lot though) I havent done one of these in a while but I'll try. Start off with a perfect nitro and knockout atleast 2 cars (3 is great). Make sure that you drift around the first corner closer to the right wall. The nitro should carry you mostly until the next corner if you hit most of the cones/poles on either side of the road (atleast 8-10 city havocs). While drifting around the second corner, get enough nitro (about 30-40% of the bar) to hit the ramp while still having nitro, and drift off the ramp (meaning you should flat spin off of the ramp instead of barrel roll. This will get you two flat spins in most cases). Once landing, hit every cone you can on the right side of the road while nitro-ing. Drift the corner early and long enough to get 70-80% of the nitro bar full. Hit all the cones/objects on the right side of the road as you go to the top of the ledge, grabbing the yellow nitro but jumping off instantly after. Triple boost (hitting the nitro button 3 times extremely fast) for a second then drift closely around the corner. Hit nitro and hit most of the cones on the left side of the road. Start drifting about 2 car lengths before reaching the blocks in the middle of the road, keeping drifting through them until your nitro bar hits yellow. Nitro into the left side of the cave and drift the corner close to the outside wall (the right wall), hit nitro once and flat spin off of the left ramp (this is very difficult but flat spin off the right side of the left ramp. You wont succeed with this everytime). While flat spinning, dont hit any wall once you land. Drive while nitro-ing until you get close to the hole in the ground then start drifting around it until you can fully see the exit of the tunnel. When you can fully see the exit, nitro into the bump, flat spinning off it. Then flat spin off the next bump to the right of the snow (some people dont even know this exists) which should get you two flat spins. Perfect nitro until you start drifting the next corner. Perfect nitro coming out of the drift and go straight to the left side of the first big ramp/ledge jump (most people go to the right side ramp with the blue nitro bottle, that is not smart). After jumping, keep triple boosting after you slight jump then jump off the barrel roll ramp. Land on the road (not on the next big jump but in the middle of the road) and perfect nitro until the finish line. Thats the route i use now. A video would be better but i have nothing to record it with.
I won't endorse it, but I must admit that I has a lot more fun at 700 rank in mp than when I was over 1700. The server gives you softball opponents, so you can race nearly anything and have a fighting chance to win as long as you are boosted. It's fun to take weak cars like the Bentley out for a spin. It isn't always super-easy, but the server tries to make things reasonable, even for weak cars. It's sort of overkill on strong cars, though, and you won't stay at 700 rank for long unless you continue to join-quit. Gaining 17 rank per race makes you go over 1000 really fast. Tried the Berlinetta at ~1300 rank aaaaaaaand it's terrible. Well mostly. Maybe it would have been more fun 600 rank ago. In fact, it seems like the server takes off the kid gloves around 1370, since my Bentley was getting lined up against boosted maxed gtrs and such when I took it back out today. Ugly. Btw I'm in there for the tuatara for now, but some of these times stink like horse manure. Too many more of those and I'm going to lose out like I did on the 599xx, grr. Wish Gameloft would take ghosts every time someone placed in the top 100 to check for weird stuff.

That's fast. Iceland is not my fav map. I'm weak at that map. With both booster on I only get 1.37. Near 1.38. Mayb my path taken not clean enough . That's why I thinking too.. I think I can just save the money to purchase the car is better

Thank you so much. After reading this it has given me hope that I can shave off some more time. Will give it a try later. Pretty much as Dark Zero said it but the ending part is very very interesting to me as it is where I'm losing some time. So, just follow his guide and you should dip into 1:33s
