It's a question of honor. Also, there were races where I was sure I'd finish last, and I still ended up winning. If you ask me, never giving up is the most important trait you need when you're trying to get ahead in multiplayer.
Yeah, I mean, I'll generally finish it out because of that...but it still seems dumb to me. You shouldn't penalize people more for doing the honorable thing. And, if there's a chance of finishing third or better, I'm definitely prone to stick it out. I've had miracle comebacks before too. In this case, going into the last straight stretch, there was just no way I was going to catch third, but I figured I'd finish to get the credits and expected to lose 9-10 points. Losing 13 just seemed crazy. Also, I still don't fully get how the system even works. It says that points get deducted from losing players and given to winning players. I decided to look at a tally of a 6 person race. There were three disconnects, so those players lost 10 points each. I won the race and got 2, second got 5 points, and third got 6 points. So 30 points were deducted but only 11 points were allocated to winners? I guess I probably should go back to not caring. One last question...how does voting on the race work? Like, how are ties resolved? Seems random sometimes.
Thumbs up for the newly release event. Spent about 1million to upgrade the pagani but the rewards given is less than 100k.
Alone Z, was there a discount on the Pagani Huayra for this tourney? Last M6 cup, my buddy on Apple and another on Android both had 30% discounts. Yet windows had none. Is it the same for the Pagani? Hate to seem stingy, but when you're still @ level 30 multiplayer and the max you can earn per minute in regular races is 2,000. I don't have that many options-finished most races before the update with daily bonus... Cobalt Blue, same, I feel you bro. I can run continuous win streaks with my Sesto Elemento, yet sometimes when I get second, even against higher rated cars, I lose couple points-MP's not that important, it's just good when you eventually level up to 50+ and earn 3000+ credits a minute
Events are not meant to be able to pay back a car or set of upgrades my friends...they are meant to give high rewards for time spent...IMO....and 100K is not bad. I see your point, if the events would pay for the car that would be unbalanced the other way around I think. How about that car though...it is one of my favs By the time you arrive around the levels that pay higher you should not really be in major need of it really. You have enough stars I see....that you should have races in season 8 that can pay more than that any how? Like Agera French and so on...if I am not mistaken those should net you over 4k per run.
Ah, I see so in those words, the Clash of Styles Cup with the Lotus is a very good rewarding cup. Turbo, I forgot to thank you for your advice on Tokyo, gonna give it a try with a maxed out Lotus. I farm quite a bit on the very last season last race Ferrari FXX vs. Bugatti Veyron. It takes a bit less than 2 min. and gets 4,500 credits and is a easy win. But if I earn 2,750 credits a minute, I still have a long way to go. I still need the F12Berlinetta, Silver Lightning and Bugatti new cars (Lykan, Huayra, LaFerrari, F430, Gallardo, 599X, Enduro, M6, and Challenger) not mention the unreleased for Windows F-150, Testarossa, McLaren P1. In total over 4,00,000 credits= over 24 hours of continuous farming the same race, considering nothing goes wrong. How'do a lot of people have time to get all cars and max them out? Is their a better way to get credits. Also are these the best cars D: 370Z, C: RS4 Avant, B: 599X (not Gallardo or GT500?), A: McLaren P1 (or Sesto Elemento or LaFerrari?) S: Lykan Hypersport
Ooh. I see what you mean now. And yes, I agree. As for how points are calculated, the factors that go into the equation have been discussed ad nauseam, but I don't think anybody outside of Gameloft knows the exact formula. That formula also changes frequently, according to what some of the Gameloft people on this thread have said.
Wow, this is kinda sad, usually i save my money until there's a discount on a car but i spent most of it maxing the 599xx nd gallardo so i cant get the f430 or the pagani, i doubt they will go on discount again
If you play one of the two Italian cups (both essentially the same Alps race), you can grind out about 3.6k in a sub-minute race. S'what I did just now to pick up the Huayra since that much discount is hard to pass up.
Congrats on owning so many cars. I was once in the same boat as you and had no idea how I will ever own all the cars. (Only 5 left for me now) This is what I used to do, Id wait for car sales and then run those elimination matches and fail getting 1000 credits in 30ish seconds. This changed after the update but what I found is if you have a fast s class car and there is a tournament race that can be completed in near 1 minute, combine that with a double credit booster and you could make about 1 million credits with that booster or half a million without. Then wait for car sales and buy the cars on sales. Thats what I did and now I only need the Silver Lightning, RUF CTR3, LaFerrari, Gallardo and Evora which the last 3 cars according to my theory will go on sale soon. Best of luck getting all the cars!!
