Yes I am just refining it to be as perfect as possbale along with playing with triple nittros and perfect nitros. It is in the 12's WW too...Dark last I checked yesterday was at 1.12.9xx and Man that has got to be so close to what is actually possable I feel. I am at 1.13.1xx I think if I remeber right.
Anyone else trying for the May 1 cup? I'm running what should logically be the shortest / quickest route in Iceland reverse, but I'm 1.75 seconds off the top 100. Here's my approach, if anyone cares to give pointers (I'm running in a maxed out / boosted Lycan, and there's no traffic): 1) perfect nitro off the line, take out all cars, keep to left side, 2) flat spins off two snow banks into the tunnel, take left tunnel until it drops down 3) Shortly after I exit the tunnel (just before the first right-hand turn), I run out of nitro, and here I'll use a combination of havoc / drifting while trying to maintain the shortest line. 4) Get all blue nitros, double flat spin over dirt pile, 5) double flat spin onto / off of shelf, perfect nitro to end. I've run this 100 times, using different combinations of drift / no drift, maximum havoc vs. shortest lines, etc., and I'm still almost 2 seconds out. I find it hard to believe that 600 people are cheating in this tourney, so I must be doing something wrong. Any tips appreciated!
I'm not all that fast, just fell outside top 100, but I don't hit all the cars at the start. I SIDESWIPE the Caddie and the first car. Must be hit at side IMHO. Nitro runs to the second bump, so that's the one I flat spin, not both. Nitro into the tunnel and I drift twice on nitro (always driving on nitro). I usually exit with about 3/4 full nitro. Exiting the tunnel, I drift to get enough nitro to get to the sharp left. I'm nitro drifting so I'm never without nitro. The fast guys are doing one or two things differently but not sure what — I've only run it like 20 times. I know it's almost over, but I'd take a break and hit it hard the last hour.
The rest is close enough....remember that tight corners in this map are huge to keep the line super short with shortest drift time too. Do not touch any walls the perfect runs will come in handy along the way. For me that double off the snow ball has been the hardest to get consistently....I ran this fro a very short time last night and only got that maybe 5 times for some reason.
Thanks for the tips, bro! I was able to shave off some time by only swiping a couple cars at the start. I'm down to 1:27:2, which puts me at 270 overall. I wonder what all those guys ahead of me are doing?...
Thanks, Turbo! I'm going to take 2621's advice and leave it for a while. I'll give your route a shot before the tourney closes. I think you're right that the line on every corner matters a lot and that's probably where I need the most work.
im not sure if that's a real Lamborghini. There's one that recently came out. I can't recall it's name but it's the first S Class car.
Im one spot ahead of you at 1:14:103 lol and that was using a route slightly different from turbo343 's route whose seems to me like its slightly faster, so there probably is a couple ways that are faster than yours
YEP! But Mercedes Silver Lightining isn't "real" too! So unreal by unreal, I prefer something that seems to be a car... Anyway My fear is... THE SSC TUATARA TAKES MONTHS AND MONTHS AND MONTHS TO APPEAR... Sometimes Damneloft freak me out!
@Gameloft Ryan and Fabian, I thought this problem was fixed... Twice today I came in first place in a MP race and lost 10 points. Those 20 points will take me at least 30 wins to get back. What can be done to fix this problem? I understand getting 0 points sometimes, but there's no way I should lose 10 points for winning a race. Thanks for any help.
And we got another cheater here... The guy was in ultra nitro mode the entire time. I passed him at one point when he crashed twice in a row and within seconds, he was so far past me that he wasn't on the map anymore. Sucks losing so many points to things like this on a consistent basis.
No problem man.... sorry I got real busy to day and never had a chance to check back in you..hope it worked out in the end. For the few runs I made at that one I was in the high 1.25's with what I had told ya so hope you got some of that..... Nice Bummer man
