They are real... it is the name or ID given to people that are not connected via Game Center or facebook
Welcome to the forum! Those are real players who haven't taken the time to make a profile and a name. "Driver###" is just the default name, in other words. EDIT: Or else they're not connected via GC or FB, as Turbo suggests. Either way, there are no bots in multiplayer.
Thanks. Was able to shave off about half a second but still can't get that extra 1.5 seconds despite trying to follow that closely. I can get the triple swipe...but that first vehicle near the first yellow bottle...I tend to only get the near miss about 20% of the the time. If I don't drift the snow path, I run out of nitro around the rocks...even if I got that near miss. As for the right double barrel roll (maybe should be doing the left?) I probably only get it 30% of the time. Do everything else just as you said. I dunno...might just need to tighten corners or something.

If you cannot get up the hill without drifting then I would not worry about that... I do use the left ramp always and it does help to get the double but that is the nature of that jump in that car...it is not all the time...but you need to be full speed to help get it.... To help you get to the next ramp under nitro with out loosing and running without......Maybe shut off nitro on the slight mole hills after thee barrel we were talking about but not for long.....You know when you run that in S class it shuts it off for you area There are a bunch of these things that even the best of us dont get all the time bud...we run it over and over again to get all the elements together in one run. Also consider that the person you are chasing is cheating? I have seen some of these peps cheat and are really not that good so they will not be as far in front as they should be.... Some times you might be surprised how much time is lost over the whole run when you loose a tenth here and there it adds up...sorry I was not able to do you better...good luck
Judging from your time... make sure that you are not taking the big jump mid course and use the near misses to get to the next corner and then use the two blues that are slightly in the dirt to get toward the bridge area. Dark would be better in this one man...he has a some what unhuman time He is .6 in front of me and last night I admit I was not finding that extra time. I am at 1.13.5xx for now. Dark was (as of last night) at 1.12.9xx
If I may ask what is the path that you are taking? I am doing 1:14:3xx with ym current path without the middle jump....
which big jump u people are talking about...and in starting shoud i go in middle route or left route..i am taking left one.
frnds i dont have traffic in any of the race..now which path would be better..i dont know the reason..maybe because i play it on pc via bluestacks and i also dont have multiplayer.
I am running the left road off the start with three cars knockdown all side....the S turns need to be very clean and short drifts...if you have the nitro load to do so (599 makes this hard) triple nitro between the corners....fall off to dam road and get yellow on top of trailers on the left side...yellow and all near miss I can get past the big bridge jump that we have been talking about.... I go into the dirt before taking the right hander to get both blues then back on pavement...no I have been playing with both laths from here...top if I know the run is clean you will get a perfect run mid dirt before the jump...if not i go right and take the blues and yellow stay right and jump up spin triple to barrel roll...perfect and I run the tunnel tight left all the way out from there getting the near misses.... Now I have left some on the table in this section but I just am not sure it is .6 to Dark...but never the less he is the man in Nevada The jump that is after the dam section up the hill just a shade before the hard right that if you go left/straight puts you in the mine section. I run that jump with no traffic you must but with traffic in the map it is quicker to stay on the ground through there
Oh man I was typing my response when you posted this... with no traffic I still run the same route but take that big jump I was telling you not to.... you need to hit the yellow and blue right in the middle to get both and full bar....triple to right hander then I would go right and under bridge jump up and same as my last form there... You will just have to play with it...keep in mind that very small things like running corners wide and missing nitro hits out of corners a shade late all add up overt he run so keep it all tight and CLEAN..... hope that helps you

Ya several times but for me the credit doubler was my way out of those and sat in the chair playing the highest paying runs till I could not see straight any more....LOL.....earned a ton of credits that way..and for only say 5 bucks over all.
Asphalt 8's really been messing with my real-life driving. Now, every time I come to a turn, I'm thinking about the best line to take instead of safety, and, every time I see traffic cones, I want to run them over to get that extra nitro!
Yeah, when I drive after having played a lot, I feel like my car goes really slowly even when I'm going like 70mph.
One day a driver X will cause a serious crash, some reporter dig up this kind of post from X and the media will have another week to blame video game. Or they may blame Apple too since this game is on some iPhone ads.
