The thing is, you have to consider how many people play this game. I couldn't find exact figures for the Apple version, but the Google Play store shows between 10,000,000 50,000,000 installs. So we have tens of millions of people playing. For an extremely conservative estimate, I'm going to use 10,000,000. Anyway, the 3 people who are going to get rewarded are the top 3/10,000,000 = 0.00003 percentile. And the other 99.99997% have to sit through 5days of this tournament. 5 whole days. It makes sense to reward the very best, but we have to balance this against making the rewards attainable enough to motivate more than just 0.00003 % of players to actually want to try. Top 250 is much more motivating, and even then it's only the top 0.0025% of players who get rewards. Top 0.0025% is a pretty reasonable definition of the very best. Top 0.00003% is just silly.
Nope, when it happened to me, I was in first place. Out of nowhere, boom, wrecked. The skull I saw on the mini map - presumably Jusus Jason - was in the center of the track, so he probably didn't hit my wreckage which was on the left hand side of the track in a fairly wide section of the track. About the last man standing - bring it on! There's another tournament running concurrently, so it's not like last man standing is the only game in town.
At least you're getting 26.5k race credits for a good race with a maxed-out 599XX (20k for 1st, 3k for ending the race and 3.5k for normal race rewards). I've got 1.2m coins atm with all the tournaments I've played in these last days, which is quite well IMO. I'm only getting 1:20.3 without tuning the car though, so no "below 1:17" prize for me this time around...
Got the maxed Shelby...but thinking I want to give the 599XX or Gallardo a try. Not sure which I should pick next for tournament purposes. Also, in France vs UK round 2...it's a D-class Alps. Apparently I'm off the leader by two seconds and have no idea where to pick the extra time up. Tried Master's same route from the S-class tourney, but nitro just isn't lasting long enough for the 370z.

Lol highly doubtful there are that many. We don't often get a full room in multi-player in various ranks, even at night time. Well this cup is regional so you "only" need to win in your region. Even I, never break into top 50 of any world wide cup, managed to get #1 in one of the recent one day D class cup in Android-Canada.

I am not sure what route Master is taking but I guess it is close to what I run.....Are you grabbing the blue bottle that is at the corner of the "Y" that you go right over the longer bridge section or left and jump up on that same area? There is ablue bottle that is right in the corner hidden in some barracades.... you can get it and stay in the left route to jump and head down the hill to get the yellow's
I don't know the exact number of worldwide and regional tournaments we've had in the past month or two, but I believe that we are encouraging the majority during 99% of our tournaments. Having one tournament like this every once in a while is great because it really drives home how important a tenth of a second is when it means the difference between Top 3 or 4th. To my knowledge we aren't changing all tournaments over to Top 3 or nothing, so the majority will still have opportunities to win prizes. This is just an example of a hyper-competitive TLE we wanted to try out.

Agreed. And I think its actually a very good idea for a limited number of tournament to be hyper competitive like this.
Interesting idea, but we have to be careful with putting brands directly against each other. We enjoy having a wide variety of cars in our game and don't want to position Car A as being better than Car B or run the risk of something being interpreted that way.
Route I'm taking (that I took from him)... Perfect nitro, swipe two, left blue bottle, micro drift, perfect nitro, near miss, yellow bottle, drift a little up the right hill path, perfect nitro, attempt a double barrel roll (often just get one though), perfect nitro along the straight hills, drift straight, attempt near miss, triple nitro to the first ramp, steer left and try to make it as far down the hill and near yellow bottle as possible, perfect nitro, yellow bottle, near miss a few times through the tunnel, barrel roll, perfect nitro, blue bottle.
Sure! Anyway Let me say another thing... You GUYS lost the chance to make one of those 6 Chinese tracks with a night sky! Imagine those dragons and mostly the fireworks... on a black sky and stars!
Okay...You look good but I would try these things... Try to get three swipe at start if you can...if you can avoid the drifting on the hill would make up time...if not then you are doing good enough. You need the two rolls though as hard as it might be you need those... Then that will get you to the blue that is hidden on what would be the corner of the right path along the long bridge that you dont want to go... but you need that bottle if you run out right before you get it all good just triple like you have been doing but you need to go off that jump full speed.... when you land triple to both yellows and ver hard left to fall off the bridge and dont drive around it... get near misses while triple again to last yellow micro drift to get it and then perfect with near misses to jump after the tunnel on the left....I spin this very low in that car to get more nitro and keep speed up... tight left to line.. that sould help you make up those 2 seconds

Those [][][] now seems to only appears in multi-player lobby room, inside multi-player game and the final result screen after. They used to appears in the tournament rank list, but now they seems to show proper characters.
I'm quite new to the game so forgive me if this question is noobish:What is it about all the"Driver1234"in MP lobbies?Are they real player or bots to fill the lobbies?
Hey isn't it weird that your name is appearing next to "YOU" on the leaderboard, but not on the bellow screen? Were you disconnected from game center, Facebook? Were you able to synch since that time?
