Im pretty sure this happens because the other cars smash into the wreckage of someone else. The wrecked car will stay on the track for around 3 seconds, and anyone who hits it fast enough gets wrecked. I've seen it myself (and have been part of one of these myself)

i feel so bad, 51st in the Ford cup what car should i use for the last man standing cup? the lambo gallarado, the ford shelby or the 599xx ?
Can anyone explain the logic behind the last man standing cup please. As if it was not difficult enough to compete against, the hackers, the cheaters, the Chinese nation and really experienced and gifted drivers, GL brings out a cup with really good prizes however allocated only to the top 1st, 2nd and 3rd ?...?.....? I thought the idea would be to encourage more and more people to participate and not to reward the already wealthy ( regardless how they earned their credits ) If the cup is designed to see who the best really is, than this is already flawed with the variables mentioned above. If the cup is designed to catch the hackers, there are far better methods already suggested ( on this forum ) rather than at the expense of the community. Common GL, the game should be encouraging the majority not the minority?!?
Well, you could look at it that way. Or you could look at it that the guys who developed the game are paying close attention and see the dedication and competitive spirit (and fairness) of people like Master Driver, turbo 343, running bird, Dark Zero and others and want to offer the highest performers a high incentive and a just reward for their dedication and loyalty to the game. It will be a tournament that will have times well double checked at the end to ensure that legitimate players win it. It's neither designed to reward hackers nor encourage exclusion. It's just that only the best will be rewarded the best rewards. As it is some thing with a competitive element to it. You can't just reward everybody who takes part the same thing, its stops being a reward at that stage. As some of the best players in the game are consistently on here, I think its a very fair opportunity for them to demonstrate their skill and get a big reward. So in relation to the guys I mentioned already, I do expect to see one of you guys winning it, don't let us down.
The tournament is over so im late, sorry. But yes, the first position was possible. I had the same time. Either the shelby or 599. The shelby seems to be the best but i prefer to use 599xx.
Don't get me wrong, its not that the above did not cross my mind…. An idea on paper and in current reality are two different things, in thoery i agree with your viewpoint it makes sense, however in reality will it be fair ? This forum is filled with issues facing A8 and hackers are at the top of this list ( pun intended ). I feel, with current challenges facing A8 still unresolved ( to a sufficient level ) this is not in the interest of the majority and for the minority the win will still be debatable IMHO. All assessment of any sort needs to be fair, to be fair you needs a sound foundation / platform, A8 has too many variables and is yet to provide this. Master Driver, turbo 343, running bird, Dark Zero are truly noteworthy on A8, Directly or indirectly I have learned much from them ( thank you guys ). Like yourself I too would love for them to win. So, not taking anything away I ask them if they think this would be a fair challenge under current conditions.
