The games great man! I love it! But just to contradict (or agree with) some of your points:
    1. I've played this on my iphone 5 and there is an insane amount of motion blur when I start going very fast. I've went so fast that my camera starts to shake, almost as if I was going TOO fast. So there is a sense of speed for newer gen devices.

    2. It's not just your iPad 2, it's everyone! The game lacks anti-aliasing and everyone can see the jaggies. Of course, they are not noticeable when you're actually racing.

    3. Maybe you should check out the sound options. They have Music, Sound FX and Engine volume control. So play with that and see if you get the results you're looking for.

I've already tried to turn down SFX and Music with Engine sound 100% but its still the same.

Yeah me too. think they bailed it in the IAP DEPT. This is the best form of IAP I've seen under my council. This is an easy fix if common sense is adhered to....

This needs a quick-switch between tilt and onscreen steering using your thumbs. I can't hold my iPad tilting it around while I'm lying down and eating my burritos at the same time. I always stack my pillows around me really comfortably and all, so don't wanna move around my arms and body that much either. And I really don't wanna keep pausing the game every 10 second. Deleted for now, but gonna check it out after a few updates. Looks so much fun. :/

EDIT: Really people? It's sarcasm! What's wrong with you?! Lol

The Audi R8 e-tron, Tesla Model S, Citroën Survolt, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive, and Mercedes-Benz Silver Lightning all have electric engines. They sound rather different than "normal" engines.

Gameloft: Frequently asked questions about Asphalt 8: Airborne (The same in German.)

The tracks are absolutely gorgeous but the game lacks a complete map overview as we had it in A7 (the complete track in one view). Most of the "work" in the beginning is to find out all the shortcuts and alternative routes. The in-race-map is hard to watch sometimes.

HEY! I thought that it was the electric engine built in the car, I was using the R8 at the time..

EDIT: I didn't see that info was in Habakuk's post. Someone delete this?

So confused, why do you want to change steering modes? Why don't you finish eating, then play the game?

Bizarre ! Why dont you simply pause it and keep to one control scheme ? Playing any game while eating burritos is probably quite tricky. I cant believe you deleted it !! Surreal post

I was going to mention their was electric cars, and could be why there is no engine noise. Side point to that, Nitros doesn't work on an electric engine, but I guess I can suspend disbelief as there are also barrel rolls and huge jumps ;)

Secondly, I think that was intended by gameloft - they didn't want you to work it out beforehand, you have to remember each track and which path is the best.

That's odd. Deleting a game because you will pause the game every 10 seconds because of your personal problem? That's a big mistake. You can still change position and stop eating burritos, but.. Why would you eat while playing A8?

http://toucharcade.com/2013/08/21/asphalt-8-review/ Hella great review! 5/5 stars, baby! (Take a look at Topbeast's comment)

Damn it why did Andrew of 148apps play it with iPad mini then rate the graphics 4.5/5? At least that's why TA's writers SHOULD have an iPad 3 and above.

I'm experiencing a frame rate drop on my iPhone 5. As I progress through the game, the game start to feel slow. And I don't like there music system at all. It was very good in NSF.
But all other things are really great. Just finished the first season.
But that multiplayer is beyond me. Did they removed Gameloft live and now its using Game Center?

Best asphalt yet, some great improvements and the new driving and physics feel like a great improvement, a much bigger leap then the asphalt games before it.

    Finished the game

    :)

    MY IMPRESSIONS:
Consistent game, innovative and incredible funny!
    But... I can't give 5 stars:

    The opponents are not competitive.
Developer bothered too much with particles and forget the competitive edge.

    4/5 Stars (Exactly as NFSMW)
    Very Good Game, NOT Excelent.

PS: Still looking for a frenetic iOS Racing Game.

    Thanks
    Gameloft_Ryan, for the presence!

    Man you are a ghost!!!

  20. You mean this game only got a 4.5/5 for graphics? What a horrific travesty!
