So not iPad 4 beautiful, but not bad either. Looks better in motion Either way, great game. Only on the first track and it is tons of fun. What's the preferred control method? I'm liking tilt with auto accelerate and the split half style controls
Depends on your settings in iTunes. It may sync all new apps across to your device automatically, if not you can manually sync it across as you would with music etc or I think You can do a "drag and drop" type too.
I guess the same as ipad mini and ipad 3ish, so pretty darn good, there are a few frame rate problems I've noticed on the mini, but nothing game breaking
It's only for the impatient gamer who doesn't want to play the game the way it was meant to be played (aka getting better and unlocked seasons as you progress). I actually don't mind that kind of IAP. Now games built around buying currency or skipping timers (cough Smash Bandits cough...so much potential ) are a different story
Yeah agree with you about those, IAP's for people who aren't patient i'm okay with. Anyway downloaded this this morning, very impressive, looks great on my ipad, want to clear some space on my ipod to play it as well. I wont be buying any $80 super car packs or that though But the games great, love the controls (i have non-tilt, the ones with 'buttons' on the side), graphics look stunning, very impressive. After some dire games Gameloft have really bounced back with this one. Looking forward to showing it to some friends who are anti-iOS, when they see a game of this quality they might realise their stupid views of 'its just all angry bird type games' on iOS is totally wrong!
Damn it my download was canceled on its own. Now I have to start over again. I can't wait. You guys are having so much fun.
Unfortunately this game occassionally stutters on my iPad Mini. I already rebooted the iPad but it didn't help. I hope they're going to fix this in an update since the game is really nice otherwise. For me it's not as good as NFS MW but it's definitely a good racing game. I just wish they had included a bumper/hood cam option...
Did you try playing with wi-fi/data off? If you didn't, kill game from multitask, disable any connection & restart your device or open any native app (notes) and hold power button until "slide to power off" then hold home button. Same thing here even if I use far less powerful device, but this helps in my case. Game runs smooth as long as I don't let it connect to internet.
If you want to judge an arcade racer on its physics, look elsewhere. Also, this isn't nearly as pretty as Most Wanted, but it is a better game. Not that Most Wanted was bad; but this is better.
Playing Asphalt 8, I thought this was prettier, but the main concern I had for Asphalt 8 was the "weight" of the car that other games had, 7 felt like a 2-D racer. Anyway I wasn't looking for realistic physics just enough so drifting doesn't feel wacky. Having multiplayer already made Asphalt 8 better then Most Wanted by a long shot. Also finally Gameloft implemented GameCenter but does that mean Gameloft no longer are promoting Gameloft Live? The only reason I loved Gameloft Live was the progress saves. I could save my progress and not have to start over if I deleted the game.
Feel much the same way, not normally saying I'm against a game with shortcut IAP but clarifying their type due to some people probably freaking if I just said IAP. I'd probably receive a big lecture on how they're not needed if I didn't.
Happened to me last night. Considering my connection's abysmal, I really wasn't looking forward to waiting another 4 hours for the download to finish.
