Hi Fabien! Welcome. I was in Barcelona several times. Cool city at the sea with some interesting architecture. Visited Costa Brava for 12 times. El favor. Please have a look at here (need to read only the first paragraphs): http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=3177348&postcount=3727 There seems to be an error with the milliseconds. Gracias for that great game! Keep up the great work. (Any early hints about Asphalt 9?)
Hate to ask, but I'm looking for a full second here (again), but where do you think you're making up the time? I get a little iffy from the point I enter the mall jump to the finish that's where I think I could be faster. Can you offer any pointers on your route from that point on?
Starting a row back, its possible but 2 rows back is impossible unless they mess up. You can win on certain maps if you triple boost off start (Barcelona, Tokyo reverse, French Guiana, Buddha's Teachings, Temple Drive reverse, Venice Forward, Alps Forward, Nevada: This one is tricky) to get ahead or close enough to knockout out the guy in first. In most cases, it'll be the latter. It has a luck factor to it, hoping he makes a mistake (doesnt have to be a wreck or hitting the wall, just hope you can out drive him in sharp turns). The most useful thing i've learned to use in multiplayer is triple boosting at certain parts of the map and drifting when there is a long road ahead with no nitro bottle in sight (maps like Tokyo, the big tunnel with the buses on Monaco, etc). Hello Fabien and welcome. Look forward to your help in the future. First asking of help, how long until the multiplayer gets fixed back to the way it was before the update?
I'm hitting about 2:00 even, so I could give you my route (for what it's worth): 1) Start to bridge: - stay left and avoid takedowns & jumps (since there are so many nitro pickups) - collect all gold and blue nitros leading toward robot - cut through lawn, aiming for robot's right leg and gold nitro - trend right after robot to line up double barrel jump on left heading toward bridge - straight jump into bridge (not flat spin since there's a tiny time difference and you don't need the extra nitro) 2) bridge to mall - avoid all jumps on bridge and collect all nitros - collect three nitros heading to mall - maintain a left-trending line following three nitros to cut down line to mall - flat spin off large jump into mall 3) mall to finish - head right exiting the mall, cut left under el tracks for one gold bottle, cut right for the second, micro-drift into next section - collect gold nitro on left and flat spin over bridge - micro-drift into next section, and be sure to get "near miss" with bus on the left - collect gold nitro, wait until after you get a perfect run and let your nitro expire to about 1/4, then drift while maintaining as much speed as you can. Drift until nitro is about 3/4, then hit it (and any city debris you can) until you reach the bottles at the end and the finish. With this approach, you should have nitro firing all the way through the course until the last stretch. Hope this helps!
Bea's approach is basically mine.... the only difference I see is I spin into the mall..... after the last short drift to turn right get left and the near miss but take out all the havoc you can, get gold bottle, and back left for all the havoc, I micro the small left hander to break nitro for a second, get perfect run and havoc to the finish line. I could be faster if I could find a way to make nitro last to the line... but for now I cannot do that. Thanks man, that is what I figured and he triple boosts the start every time he sees me in the room. Dont blame him I would too. The best chance I had was in Monaco rev.... I did not triple the start thinking he would so that around the corner when he ran out I would still have some and be able to knock him out...but he did a better job dodging me than I cold trying to stick it to him I was right there till the end doing to drifting thing until that last bottle that out weighs the drift gains... thanks for the input for sure!
Thanks guys It is my first time in Barcelona. So far it is good to be here. Next time you guys come back to Barcelona, we can go to visit the Sagrada together.
Don't wait until one of us gets there. Go see the Sagrada Familia as soon as you can, if you haven't already — it's breathtaking. Many years ago, my sister lived in an apartment that had a direct view of the Nativity Façade, but I only got around to going inside last year. And once I saw the inside, I cursed at myself for waiting so long. Turns out this is one of those few things where waiting in line is worthwhile. Then again, there's so much to see in Barcelona, I fall in love with new aspects of the city whenever I visit. It's no wonder they say it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. Anyway, hi Fabien! Or should I say: Bienvenue, Fabien? Thanks for joining the discussion! In terms of providing feedback on Asphalt 8, I'll just co-sign Dark-Zero's question: I miss multiplayer, and unlike Dark-Zero, I just can't bring myself to adapt to the Survolt.
Welcome, Fabien! If you get down to Granada, check out the Alhambra. It's an absolute wonder. Now for a quick Asphalt question: are full-nitro boosters still available as an award for multiplayer streaks? I haven't seen one in quite a while. Thanks!
Thanks guys! Just got into the 1:59s and am fourth (US using Rascal3332). That double spin after the robot gave me boost I needed to that gold bottle heading onto the bridge. I could see going low 1:59s but 58s... I'm rarely in the ballpark, so it feels pretty good.
God deal.... ya 58's will be a matter of devine intervention and massive havoc collection along with a tight perfect path throughout I will not take that kind of time to see either....LOL I have to wonder how long it took Tano to get that .2 on me
Good to know--thanks bro. Maybe I should restart my phone... EDIT: just got one too...should've just been patient!
They've been removed from the MP streaks :/ Erm, Fabien, how about putting the 2x Credit boosters back in the game as MP streak rewards? And more powerful headlights? Oh, and is a hood camera and rear-view mirror feasible?
I think everyone would agree. We all seem to want 2x credits back in the winning streaks, maybe not everyone wanna spend 1.99 euros on something like this. They were a good way to reward players after completing streaks.I don't know why they got removed.I agree with you on the headlights topic.Aaand, I guess we all want more night maps, not just Tokyo..
Well, everyone but the suits at Gameloft. There's profit to be had, and those rewards may have made it too easy for their tastes to avoid in-app purchases. I wouldn't be surprised if the coin doubler reward came back after the current activity spike that was caused by the update and the new cars has died down.
Unfair Advantage Thought at first this Monaco tourney would be a bit of a bore, but lots of traffic make it a challenge to get good times. Rocking that vintage Penske/Mark Donohue-liveried Camaro. Never used it much but kind of fun. Nitro seems strong, but a bit slow off the start. Took three cracks with the Miami Advice Ferrari. Both I and the frame rate suck. What a stuck pig that car is.
